Joseph has a feeling that something's not right.

Firstly, the intel they have about the Demonic army is inaccurate.

Secondly, the army is way too strong, if only the strength of Carias Stronghold is taken into consideration.

Joseph ordered Little Birdy to fly back to the camp.

Little Birdy spanned its 12 meters long wings, shadowing considerable portion of the land.

Kakar, Dakar, Theo and other Demons who can take a hit by this glamorous beast quickly started circulating Myricia around their body, seemingly prepared for battle.

Gryphon flapped its wings generating an incredible wind pressure and soared into the clouds.

Everyone in the Demonic Army heaved sigh of relief. But Theo only calmed down after 5 minutes, as he finished inspecting the surroundings again and again.

Everyone was ordered to have some rest by Theo, even though everyone was throbbing with energy, no one objected and silently sat down. Everyone took a rest to recover the mental fatigue, this incident showed everyone how unpredictable this world is. Anyone can encounter anything.

Theo has been pondering all along, the map we received were provided us from Dryads of Billion Beast Forest. Dryads are the direct information gatherer of the Beast Emperor of Billion Beast Forest.

The territory of all the beasts above the Master rank has been marked on this map, and we have been bypassing all those territories all these while, then why did we encounter such a strong beast?

That Gryphon, is it a contracted beast of a hidden expert?

This is the most probable explanation.

This must be the reason why the Gryphon did not attack us, as they are territorial monsters, that Gryphon would have already initiated its onslaught. But that mysterious expert has alignment with with which race?

If its alignment is with humans, then this will turn the entire flow of the upcoming war. Should proceed or not?

Theo's thought fell into a predicament. His decision will decide will these 50,000 Demons will live or not, he cannot act carelessly.

Familial hierarchy in the Demon City does not exist, as long as anyone has sufficient strength he can fight for the throne, even if it's a human.

Demon City is a pinnacle world tier powerhouse, it was made by outcasts. People who were used by their own respective nations, bandits, intelligent strong monsters.

It all started as a trading center, people did barter or exchange information. Slowly, slowly it started developing and a city was made by the outcasts and was protected by them so that people can live, eat, exchange information, or will have a place to call HOME.

Demon City became famous for people with no home. A slogan became famous from Demon City, "A place to call HOME."

Races from different different places came. Families got formed here, no race was prevented from entering, nowadays the residents of Demon City have the most patriotism since they had no home, they are outcasts from their own family members and this is the place which gave them another chance in life, this is the place which let them start again.

Demon City is situated between four peak World tier powerhouses, Humans, Elves, Vampires and Dwarfs. They are continually at war with these four, World tier powerhouses. Even then Elves, Humans, Dwarfs and Vampires are allowed. Quite a few of the Demon Generals are also from these races.

Yet the Demon City never fell as each and every resident of the Demon City will choose to give up their life rather than to let this city fall. The Internal struggle for political power is present, but still if there was not city, what's the struggle for then?

Residents of the Demon City have already felt what true 'pain' feels like, nearly everyone have a 'past'.

Theo cannot act carelessly.

Theo is from the Devil's race. He was betrayed by his own brother due to the internal power struggle. His big brother, Theodore, had lower talent than him, that is, he was not able to absorb Myricia as fast as Theo.

Theo's father decided to make him the family heir due to his talent being great, His father was nearing the span of his life, he was a 3 star Grandmaster but due to a deadly battle, he received a life threatening injury, he survived but was not able to advance further.

During a family discussion, his father announced to everyone that he will make Theo the family heir. Theo felt bad for his brother, as he has worked hard to become the heir of the family, and now his family decided to make him the heir of the family. But as his father does not have much time left, decided to obey his decision and would talk to him when he will be alone.

But at the same time this decision angered Theodore greatly. He became so mad at his father's decision that he decided to kill Theo.

Theodore has been working hard for the benefits of the family all these times, but now the throne to the family has been given to his younger brother just because he has more talent.

His anger corrupted him. He chooses to take action against his brother rather than to sort things out.

Once a great sage said,

Theodore hired some mercenaries to kill him. He had a flawless plan, he sends Theo on a mission to kill the beast frequently coming to their turf.
