Task completed

Along with Zaya and Attra, Aurus killed his way in the monster horde with the other Hunters. The beast wave was stronger than the previous one and he could hear a shout of pain from other Hunters. He didn't bother to guess, he knew there would be a lot of casualties.

With the beasts attacking, Aurus slaughtered everything around him with Zaya and Attra cleaning up around him, Aurus focused on the monsters which would help him complete his task. Thankfully, there were enough in this wave and Aurus managed to find them quite easily.

There were monsters that spit out fire, others who sent air slices to the Hunters along with some monsters which attacked from the ground. The battle was quite messy and it soon became hard to protect their own backs. At some point, they could only entrust their backs to other Hunters or to their contracted beasts since the monsters attacked from everywhere.

For the following three hours, Aurus fought continuously with the help of his two beasts to kill the monsters which surrounded him. Along with slaughtering everything, he managed to complete the task set by the system and even Attra's task of killing a thousand flying monsters had been completed. Being able to complete it in two hours demonstrated how many monsters had been attacking the city. At this point, Aurus was waiting for the wave to end. Through this attack on the city, he understood one thing about himself. He wasn't made for battle. He much preferred taking care of his business. In the future, he would avoid going to battles.

For the moment, he had the choice to leave the battle. However, leaving right in the middle wasn't his style of doing things but he wouldn't battle much in the future. For the other world, Aurus believed that the team icon he got from completing this task would help him reduce his fighting to a maximum as well.

Right as he was thinking about what the team icon actually did, a monster managed to make a hit right on his left arm which made him lose balance. Thankfully, Zaya was pretty close and saved him from being killed due to being distracted. Shaking his head, he stopped thinking about random things and continued the battle. By the end of the battle, his left arm was hurting so much that he was almost certain it was broken.

Two hours later, the battle finally finished with two dark-gold rank Hunters taking care of the leaders of the horde.

Aurus, seeing that the battle had ended, went back to his house immediately. After being almost killed on the battlefield, he reinforced his belief that he wasn't someone who was made to go on the battlefield. While he could indeed increase his cultivation and skills in case something ever happened, he didn't need to go and risk his life on the battlefield anymore. His task was completed and the reinforcements from the capital should arrive that night or early the next morning, right before the third beast wave.

Going straight to the bathroom, Aurus entered the shower after undressing himself and looking at his left arm which was still bleeding, he made a painful expression while he looked disappointed in himself. He already knew that being distracted on the battlefield was the right way to get himself killed and he still did. Looking at his left arm which he was certain he had broken, he applied a little pressure and felt the pain multiply.

Using his identification skill on his own arm he got the answer he was looking for.

[Your left arm. The arm has received a hard hit and after continuous use and some more hits, the arm has broken. It is recommended that the user buy a cast from the system who will install it free of charge. Note: the cast costs 300 points.]

Reading the information, he was depressed that his left arm had indeed been broken. While he had greater strength and endurance than most cultivators of his rank, as long as the hit was good enough, he could also break his bones. Cleaning himself with a single hand, he got out of the shower and dressed himself up with clean clothes he took from his interspatial ring.

Afterwards, right before leaving the bathroom, he bought the cast recommended by the system. While he hated having to wear it, Aurus knew that with his regeneration which came with his high strength and vitality, his arm would be healed by next week.

With the cast on, directly installed by the system, he left the bathroom and went downstairs to the shop. There were currently some customers and he wanted to make sure that there weren't any problems with the shop before he started to plan the expansion. While he built this shop for less than a month, the traffic of the shop was already good enough for expansion. Although he needed to prepare a way for the supply line of the shop since he couldn't' always do it by himself. Luckily, if he was right, the team icon would deal with that problem.

Having confirmed there were no real problems with the shop, he looked at the dungeon only to notice it was completely empty but it was also pretty normal since a beast wave had just ended outside of the city.

Aurus went and sat on his seat behind the counter and looked at the benefits he had received upon completing the previous task. The task of killing fifty gold rank stage 3 monsters gave two different rewards, the team icon and the hotel icon.

He firstly looked at the hotel icon. He opened the icon and saw two categories. The first was obviously the room category. This category allowed him to build more room in his hotel and add the appropriate items for each room. The second category was the expansion category. This category was obviously to expand the hotel and Aurus figured the system had a way to make people think it was normal when the hotel would appear. Seeing this, he closed the icon and turned to the second icon.

Opening the team icon, Aurus saw that there were a few categories as well. The first one was the team members. The second was the mission panel where Aurus could post missions for the team members and each member would receive a reward from the system upon each completion of Aurus's task. Finally, it was the world category. Upon opening it, Aurus was delighted to see that he could send the team members to other worlds to collect the resources for him.

This indeed solved the problem of supply and Aurus would just have to get members for this team and everything would be able to run even without him being present. He just needed to find more employees for various posts.

With this, Aurus closed the various icons and went back to the second floor to have something to eat. At the same time, he planned on spending some time with his family. After all, after having healed his mother he spent almost no time with her and he wanted to spend some time with his family. Thus was his original goal after having woken up in this world.

A little chapter, I'm pretty sure everyone noticed but the chapter was only so-so. I'm dead tired and with the two exams, I had today I only wish I had gotten to bed earlier... Well, I hope you guys a great day, or at least a better one than mine hahaha
