27 Dungeon icon

Continuing to move the debris from the hole, he searched for the dungeon core. After a while, thinking he wouldn't be able to find it, a blue glow finally appeared from the debris and he quickly went to collect it.

As he took the dungeon core, the task icon in his view flashed brightly and at the same time, a new icon appeared right next to it.

The dungeon icon and the map skill were the rewards to conquering the dungeon. Having finally completed the quest, he sat down on the ground and took a breather. While he couldn't get tired in this world, he could still feel mentally tired after all of those events which had happened since he entered the dungeon.

However, at the same time, he was proud of himself as he had cleared the dungeon and from now on, there wouldn't be new monsters spawning from it. The last task would be to kill every single monster left in the dungeon. After all, they were worth a lot. Both in monetary rewards and task accomplishment which would most likely increase his adventurer rank to C.

As he was looking at the dungeon core, he thought back to the slime cores and used his identification skill on it.

[Low-level dungeon core: A low-level dungeon core can create a dungeon in which it will spend dungeon points to create monsters and have it attack the enemies. Dungeon masters are needed to control the dungeon cores, so the core will create its own master according to its wishes. The dungeon core can be used in conjunction with the dungeon icon.]

Looking at the dungeon core, he was quite surprised and he put it directly in his system space. Unfortunately, the system space was still quite empty and there was no point in bringing the goblin and orc monster corpses.

At the same time, leaving the dungeon core in the system space was only for safety measures. After all, he would need to prove that he was the one which cleared the dungeon by showing the dungeon core as proof.

Looking at the world icon, he noticed there was almost no time left so he recalled Zaya and started the transfer back to the shop. The next time he would go, he would finish off the monsters in the dungeon as fast as he could before going to the adventurers guild to complete the tasks and report the completion of the dungeon. At the same time, he would have to look for slaves to work for him.

He actually didn't know whether elves, beastmans and fairies existed in that world but he was quite interested in having them as his employees. After all, what greater way to make publicity than to introduce a race which was quite rare? He would just have to say that he had found them in the wild and people would believe him. After all, the wild had never been fully explored so there might be species which they weren't aware of.

As he arrived back at the shop, he put a knee on the floor until it stopped spinning. He went upstairs and saw that Laia's friends were still present, playing with the little Masked Demon Panther. Seeing them play like this, he let them be and cleaned up the kitchen.

Considering that the girls had school the next day, they left early and Aurus finally went to sleep.

Monday morning, he, like every other day, prepared breakfast for Laia and a few minutes later she woke up.

He noticed that compared to the previous week when she went to school, she seemed a lot happier. Linking this to the fact that they captured her future contracted beast, he shook his head with a smile and sent her to school right afterwards.

Before the opening hours of the shop, Aurus looked at the new icon he had received the previous day. The dungeon icon was separated into three categories, namely the monster category, floor category and dungeon core category.

The first category, the monster category, was a list of every monster he had ever seen before. It included the monsters from both worlds. The monsters were separated from weak to strong and their rank and stage were right next to their name to show the difference in their power.

The second category was the floor category. This category opened a single floor for each stage in the cultivation level. In other words, the bronze rank stage 1 cultivation level was the first floor while the second floor was the bronze rank stage 2. Following this, there would be a total of fifteen floors for each stage of each rank. As for the superhuman cultivation level, he had no information on it and it was currently locked. Furthermore, he could decide which monster to add to each floor and their dimension.

The third category was information about the dungeon core. It gave the level of the dungeon core which was level 0 at the moment. It was obvious because he didn't have any dungeon core to start the dungeon itself. In Aurus's opinion, the level of the dungeon would also dictate whether he would be able to open floors for the superhuman in the future.

Under it was the energy function. Next to the word was written 0 which meant that he currently did not possess any dungeon energy. After he touched the word energy, it explained that to gather energy, the first thing needed was a dungeon core to store it. Afterwards, it was necessary to either let energy gather autonomously from the air and the ground or to have people enter the dungeon so that it could collect the energy released by them.

Under the energy function was the information on each floor. For the moment he didn't have any, it was obviously empty.

Aurus understood the greatness of the dungeon after having read some extra notes from the system. The energy gathered by the dungeon would allow the dungeon master, who would be himself for the moment to create monsters made of energy which would be assigned to a floor of the dungeon. The monsters themselves were made of energy so they had no need for eating, drinking or sleeping. Furthermore, they had no egos so there were no chances for them to revolt. However, the important point was here. When a monster or a human killed the monster, they would be able to receive a bit of energy which would further their cultivation.

For the cultivators, it would give them a chance to increase their combat technique and to collect energy for their breakthrough. Although they could use crystals to collect energy, it was easier and faster to do it by killing monsters in the dungeon even though it was also more dangerous.

For the contracted beasts, to rank up or increase their stage, they needed to collect enough energy to breakthrough. The difference between humans and monsters was that monsters didn't need to kill a monster of a higher level to rank up but just needed enough energy. The dungeon especially resolved the problem of the contracted beasts taking too much time ranking up.

Having seen and understood from the new icon, he closed it and looking at the time, it was soon 9:00. He looked over everything, making sure there were no problems and finally opened the door on time.

Outside the door, multiple customers were waiting in line without pushing each other. However, he could also see that this time there were young masters in front of the line. The reason he knew this? It could be because of the numerous guards following him or the disdain on the face of the young master as he looked at everyone Aurus included or maybe because of the fan in his hand as he took what he guessed must be a handsome pose. Although, in Aurus's eyes, he was just retarded from doing this.

As for whether the two young masters had skipped the line or not? Obviously, they did. They would never wait in front of that shop for nothing and they would also never wait behind a crowd so it was obvious that they had skipper everyone and no one dared to complain.

As he opened the door and looked at everyone, the two young masters showed their disdain for Aurus immediately as they looked down on him saying: "It was about time you opened the damn door. Who do you think you are, making us wait outside the shop like that?" At the same time, they entered the shop, pushing Aurus a little bit.

Behind the young masters, the guards were helpless and a little bit scared. It was obvious they had received the news about what had happened to the guys who had previously made trouble in the shop.

Upon seeing them act like this, and the face of Aurus who didn't conceal his annoyance, the two teams of guards immediately sent someone back to their respective families to report what had happened and ask what to do. They knew what the shop meant for the families and they also knew that they were not at the level of the shop owner.

Honestly, the guards were wondering why they had sent the young masters to the store. Obviously, the masters knew the characters of their sons.

As Aurus turned around and entered the shop after ignoring them, meanwhile, everyone else entered the shop. The guards followed the master while the Hunters looked for resources for their contracted beast.

Not less than 10 minutes later, Aurus heard another buzzing sound.

"Hey you, the guy sitting on the chair. Give me the chair, I'm tired. Also, bring me some juice. I'm thirsty." At the same time, the other young master came and said with a haughty look.

"I want this, this, this and this. Give them to me. It's your honour that I even come to your lowly store." He looked at Aurus with a smile as if he already saw how Aurus would accept his every request.

However, at this time, Aurus simply didn't care about them. He was still not in that great of a mood after the events of the previous day in the dungeon so while under normal circumstances he would merely look at them like morons, this time he simply ignored them.

"HEY! I gave you an order, what the hell are you still doing there?" The two shouted at the same time at Aurus. However, as they shouted, they disturbed everyone including Aurus and this time, anger took over as he simply got up and looked at them with murderous eyes.

As Zaya was feeling the killing intent of Aurus, she set herself on fire as she flew over and looked at the two young masters, ready to kill them. After the few massacres they had gone through, they were still a little bit affected and simply didn't see life the same way anymore.
