Voice

Wukong looked around as he tried to calm himself. Knowing that there was no immediate danger, he started to look around, and all he could see were flattened corpses. Even the Blood Brothers laid in a crater beneath them as they had succumbed to the same fate as everyone else.

"What happened?" He kept asking himself. The last thing he remembered was standing before Clairvoyant before everything went black. However, for some reason, he very clearly remembered the rush of emotions and the one word that repeatedly went through his mind.

"It happened again. That voice. But who the hell is it?" That voice from when he fought Peter came back. But who, or what, was it? He wasn't susceptible to mind attacks so what was causing this?

However, this time it wasn't the same as when he fought Peter. For some reason, he felt like he had given in. He felt like he had let himself go and let this voice win.

The fact that he had this voice looming over him, ready to manipulate him with a wave of emotions made Wukong feel uneasy. The fact that he had to start keeping an eye on himself and what was in his mind angered him. It was as if he was a prisoner in his own skin. It was as if this body didn't really belong to him. This was further amplified by the fact that Wukong had a feeling in his gut that said this voice wasn't leaving anytime soon. Either way, he had to put an end to this.

As he was thinking this, Wukong stepped on something that made a grotesque noise. The kind that would make one retch upon hearing it. Lifting his feet, he was met with piles of guts and human insides, dripping with blood.

Following the organs, Wukong saw the owner of the intestines. He walked over to him and as he bent down, he started to search through the man's pockets. He was met with a wallet that had a bit of cash in it. Knowing this could buy him some food, he pocketed it as he prepared to throw the wallet away.

However, his eye was caught by a small picture in the wallet that showed a female and a little girl, curling their arms around a grown man who Wukong deduced was the owner of this wallet. He was a father.

Wukong stared at this photo for a few seconds before throwing it into the pile of human intestines and blood.

Just as he did this, he remembered something important. The reason he was even here in the first place. CS2.

He darted his eyes toward Clairvoyant and quickly ran over to him, aggressively checking the man's pockets. He forced himself to continue through the grotesque feeling of the man's caved-in chest. Only to be met with a messy scene of white fluids that seeped through the man's inner pocket. The CS2 was broken and destroyed.

"No no no no." Wukong pulled out everything in the man's pockets, but all that was left were broken shards of glass and flooding of the ruined CS2.

Wukong cursed loudly as his voice echoed through the damaged and old warehouse. Everything he had been working for all this time laid before him, shattered in ruins.

Wukong stared at the broken glass, defeated as he gritted his teeth. After a few minutes, he sighed as he looked down.

"I'm hungry." He said as he was feeling unusually exhausted. His body felt fatigued and he felt like he used all his stamina. He picked himself up as he called for his Nimbus, finally leaving the carnage that he stood over.

Wukong's POV:

While soaring through the night sky, I couldn't help but have a repeating thought in my head.

Why do I keep thinking about that guy's family? It's not my fault that his wife and daughter had a dirtbag as the man they loved. He was the one trying to kill me. Yes. I was right, the man tried to kill me. But…is that what Xuanzang taught me to do?

'We only kill the bad guys and in doing so we help the good guys.' That was a code he made for me since he thought I was a hothead. And I guess it worked since it helped me combat the darkness of the voice while fighting Peter. He never liked the thought of death and killing, but he knew it was a normal and repeating thing that happened around me. Although he taught me that code, it was more of a compromise. Baby steps he had taken with me so that I could learn slowly.

But it shouldn't matter here. This isn't my world. I didn't ask to be sent here so why should I look out for these people? I have one goal and it's not to play hero to a world I'll soon be leaving. Besides, this world has plenty of heroes, this is their problem.

I have one purpose, and I'll achieve it no matter what.

3rd person POV:

Wukong opened the window of a familiar apartment and climbed in quietly, only to be met with Claire, sitting above the unconscious Lorna.

"Where have you been?" Asked Claire.

"I was dealing with some things. How is she?" Claire paused slightly as she stared at Wukong.

"The blood, it won't stop."

"What? What do you mean the blood won't stop?" He asked, slightly panicked.

"I mean, there must have been some further injuries when she was wounded. Something like a grazed artery."

"So what now?" Said Wukong as he hurried to Lorna. Claire paused slightly as she sighed.

"I've called a friend."

Meanwhile, outside the apartment building, atop the opposite structure, a man stood staring through apartment 69's window, observing the unusual boy who flew on a cloud.

After a few moments of silence, his hand glowed yellow and illuminated the night as he got up and started to walk.

In a familiar warehouse, multiple people who wore similar clothing to each other ran and walked around a massacre filled with guts and human parts. Other people in hazmat suits observed the bloodbath and inspected every part of it.

In the middle of all this, a dark-skinned man with an eye patch and goatee, accompanied by a white male with a suit, both looked down at the head of Clairvoyant.

"Son of a bitch. He was still alive. I watched him die." Said Coulson as he was dumbfounded.

"It's hard to find someone who stays dead these days. What's most important is what happened here."

"I'm not one to show sympathy for Hydra of all people, but this… this is horrifying." Said Coulson as he looked around.

Just as he said this, a female walked up to them wearing a similar uniform to everyone else, however, one could tell they were not on the same level due to body language and her oozing importance.

"What do you have for us Agent Hill?" Asked Fury as he noticed the female walking toward them.

"I have two things. Number one, we tested the liquid we found on the floor with multiple glass shards around it, forensics say they've never seen anything like it. It seems to have a striking resemblance with the Centipede Serum but still has major differences." She said as she handed Fury a tablet.

"The effects seem to be amplified, overshadowing all the backlashes that came with the drug. They essentially boosted all the positives while the negatives took care of themselves."

"That's fascinating." Said Coulson as he was experienced with the Centipede Serum.

"It's more than fascinating. It's impossible. Nothing has ever been seen quite like it. There's something in the Serum that's giving it its boosts. Something extraordinary. Which brings me to the question, how did Hydra get their hands on something like that in the first place?"

"A good question indeed. What was the second thing?"

"Fortunately, it turns out this building has a functioning camera. We were able to recover some footage and it looks like the person responsible for this is someone familiar."

As she said this, she started a recording of Wukong standing in the middle of dozens of soldiers. Fury scrunched his eyebrows in confusion as he looked at the face of the boy who humiliated and almost killed him and his team.

"Is he laughing?" Asked Coulson as he looked closer at the video. The video had no audio, however, one could tell from Wukong's movements that he was laughing uncontrollably.

In the next second, all hell broke loose as the dozens of soldiers around him flattened in an instant without any warning. Wukong stood in the same position as they died instantly from something unknown. All that was left was Clairvoyant, who frantically looked around in panic after jumping at the sound of the boom of his comrades and his assistant as they were smashed into the ground.

In an instant, Wukong disappeared from his position in a flash, appearing right in front of Clairvoyant and lifting him from the ground with one hand.

In the next second, the two agents and the Director witnessed the brutal torture of Clairvoyant. It was unclear what was going on specifically, however, one could tell the man was experiencing true pain as he experienced uncontrollable spasms.

After a few minutes, they noticed Clairvoyant's chest cave in as his legs and arms were being mangled. Agent Hill looked away as visible pain and agony were displayed on the man's face. After a few minutes, the man's head slowly started to forcibly turn for an inhuman amount of time until his body gave out and his whole head tore off the neck, dropping onto the floor.

Soon after, Wukong dropped the body onto the ground as he stood in the same position, staring into nothingness.

"He stays in that position for almost an hour before dropping to the ground. That was all the camera was able to capture."

"What's his business with Hydra?" Asked Coulson.

"I'm not sure. How's it going with tracking him down, Hill?"

"Not well. He's smart, he's always on the move and never stays in one place for too long. He's also sure to never go anywhere too populated with street cameras and whatnot."

"What does this mean?" Asked Coulson.

"It means that kid is way too powerful and way too reckless to be left unchecked."
