Time passed quickly

Hiro was standing in the stands, watching Soma's semi finals against Subaru. He managed to overcome the perfect trace and beat him. Zerotwo had to take care of the restaurant so she wasn't here today. It was a big shame and he was looking forward to going home.

Coincidentally, Gin was a judge today. He also knew exactly where Hiro was because he saw him just before. It was pretty hard to miss him with his silver tips, he was a very unique outline.

At any rate, Soma won the shokugeki and a giant metal container was brought in.

This was Subaru's victory knives collection.

Hiro looked at the metal container with a flat look before looking at all the chefs who were excited that they would get their knives back, he sneered at them and an evil smile slowly sprawled across his face as he walked away.

Gin looked at Hiro's back and suddenly had a bad feeling.

The metal storage container's doors opened revealing the collection of knives. The chefs came to get their knives but before they could even grab a knife, they were interrupted by very clear and calm footsteps along with a "Just a moment."

The chefs and audience, along with the judges turned to look and saw Hiro walking in with a cabinet. Gin looked at the cabinet and his eyes widened as he muttered "He's not going to..." Hinako looked at Gin with a confused face and asked "To what?"

Gin just pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head. He knew what Hiro was going to do but this wasn't the old days anymore, the chefs weren't of the same caliber...

Hiro walked forward and there were metal clinking sounds, confusing the audience. He stopped in front of the metal container and smiled as he turned around, he took off the cabinet and put it down before opening the doors and revealing what was inside.

Everyone's eyes widened at the hundreds of knives in the cabinet, there were much much more than in the metal storage container! There were even 10 different ones that were numbered!

Hiro cleared his throat and said "I'm seizing this storage container." the audience was floored and Soma blinked saying "But-" Hiro smiled and cut him off, saying "You won the Mezzaluna, nothing else." as he said that he threw the box, with Takumi's Mezzaluna in it, at Soma.

He looked up into the stands and locked eyes with Takumi, who looked at Hiro and trembled before looking down and gripping the railing tighter with clenched teeth.

Hiro looked back and said "Let me say something to all of you. The audience doesn't need to listen as this isn't for them." he looked around and said "This behind me is all your knives, yeah?" he then patted the cabinet and said "These are all mine. The numbered knives are the Elite Ten from my first year here."

Everyone's jaws dropped and Gin sighed before taking out his phone and muttering "I have Zero-chan's number, right?"

Hiro looked at them all and continued coldly "All the chefs that I took knives from complained just like you all did. But to be honest with you, I don't care at all. Whether you lose you knife and complain about it, go home and cry all day, quit being a chef, or whatever that doesn't make me the slightest bit uncomfortable."

He grinned and said "These knives are your pride and dignity as a chef! Either you win them yourselves or you quit being a chef! I don't care if your great grandfather gave you your knife just before he passed! You lost the knife! Not the person getting it for you! You do not deserve to be a chef if you can't even take back your pride!"

He clapped his hands and the metal storage container was taken away.

He looked at the students and said "After the Elections, I will be holding classes everyday for you to get your knives back. Whether you want a Shokugeki, Evaluation, Critiques, etc. I will be there and If I pass you, you will get your knives back. If not...."

He chuckled grimly and added "Then you might as well burn your chef's uniform too." he picked up his cabinet and walked away saying "See you then~ Heheh" before disappearing out the door. Subaru stared at Hiro's back in awe and Soma was stunned but quickly smirked, thinking 'What a cool Uncle!'

Takumi's eyes were burning a hole through Hiro's back as his eyes solidified, burning with determination. He walked to Soma and loudly declared "I will take back my Mezzaluna! But it will be when I beat you, Soma Yukihira!" before walking off, his back a lot straighter than before.

Soma grinned and started to get really excited, he was itching to challenge someone right now.

Meanwhile the judges were stunned, Hinako gulped and mumbled "What a scary big brother!" Gin rolled his eyes and texted on his phone.

A while later

Hiro got back home and Zerotwo was waiting for him, she held out her phone and said "You made a big speech today?" Hiro was stunned and said in shock "How did you know?!" She smiled "I got spies." Hiro was floored and blurted out "Spies?! You know what spies are?!" she felt her mouth twitch as she asked "Why wouldn't I? Do you think I'm stupid?"

Hiro turned completely white at that.

It was at this moment, he knew.

He fucked up.
