"Chapter 20- Killing me inside"

Klein went to his room feeling worn out by intense energies that surrounded him earlier, 'clack'

he closed the door with a sigh of relief, 'Finally, a room alone,' he thought while placing down his luggage, he jumped on his bed burying his head on the soft pillow, 'I have a lot of duties I need to do once I'm the CEO, but first I need to earn my employers' trust,' he sighed loudly as he lay his back on the bed and looking at the ceiling, "I miss them already," he said as his eyelids slowly flutter,

'Knock Knock!'

a knock startled Klein out of the bed, "yes?" he went towards the door, "young master, Sir Stewart is now waiting outside," a muffled voice of the maid said in front of the door, "yes I will come, just give me a few minutes," he said ruffling his head with another loud sigh, 'young master?'

"Sir Klein," Stewart stood from his chair and showed him courtesy as he saw him walk in the room, "Hello, Stewart," Klein informally greeted, "they are the company's supplier, Arnold, and Merlin, they provide good quality fabric for our furniture," he introduced the Company's supplier to Klein, "Hello there," they waved awkwardly beside Stewart, "do you have samples of the fabric?" I asked curiously, "we haven't brought any fabric with us, my apologies," they said while looking away, "It's alright, I will start working soon so I was curious about the quality of the furniture we're selling," Klein stated while gesturing them to sit down,

"do you have any plans on changing the company name?" Stewart asked Klein, the suppliers looked at Stewart with their eyes widened, they seemed to be doubting Klein without seeing the performance of his management, "just because he's the son and grandson of this wealthy family, I don't want to let him inherit the company, I don't trust him!" they whispered to Stewart, "yes, you shouldn't trust me immediately because I just graduated business, and have no experience in handling or even managing a company," Klein forwardly said after hearing their whispers,

they looked at Klein with staggering eyes, afraid of what will happen to them, "however, that doesn't mean I will bring the company to downfall" he said without any expression while his heart secretly weakens after hearing those whispers,

"My apologies for the rudeness of the suppliers," Stewart asked for forgiveness as he see them off, "It's understandable why... you don't have to apologies, Stewart," he said with a gloomy expression, "Thank you for having us, Sir Klein," he waved his farewell to Klein.

Klein went inside of his room, closing it slowly showing no expression,

'tick... tock... tick... tock...'

the sound of the clock kept repeating in his head as he bury his whole body on his bed, he stared blankly at the ceiling as anxiety started drowning him in his thoughts,

'you'll fail... you'll fail... you'll humiliate your family,'

those dialogues drowned him slowly on his bed, he felt like dying it's like it's killing him inside, 'I can't breathe,' he thought while grabbing his hair, pulling until he's satisfied while the dialogues kept repeating in his head, shedding tears and gritting his teeth of frustration and anxiety,

'RIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGGG!!!'

a loud ring snapped him back to reality, he sniffed and calmed down, he grabbed the phone as he fix his hair, "hello?" he muttered on the phone, "Hello? How are you today, Klein?" Tristan's voice appeared in the call, "Tristan?" he asked as he opened the door to the balcony, "you should rame your contacts," Tristan said on the phone, "Yeah... I probably should," Klein said as the cold breeze came into his room, "you haven't answered my question yet, how is your day today?" he asked again, Klein laughed, "well, it's very tiring of course, a lot of energy-sucking people," Klein truthfully said, "what about you? how was your day today?" Klein asked interested, "very sad," Tristan answered shortly, "why?" Klein asked while leaning on the door frame, "I miss you already," he said while pouting, "..."
