Chapter 6

Opening his window and seeing the empty campus parking lot in the early morning a smile came on Cyrus' face.

Yesterday was his last day of work as he had officially resigned, there was no big fiscal as Cyrus had already put in his two weeks.

"Well, I definitely won't miss this place." Was all Cyrus had to say as he looked out of the deserted campus.

Ding!

A sudden notification from his phone suddenly notified him that his ride was here.

Picking up a small bag that was on his bed Cyrus quickly walked out of his room & out of his Dorm complex and soon went to a gray honda civic with a yellow sticker on the corner of its windshield.

"You Cyrus?" The driver said, rolling down the window.

"Yea, your Mark right?"

"Alright hope in" Was all Mark said.

As the car got further and further away from his college Cyprus closed his eyes and clenched his fists.

In the end, he decided that he didn't want to continue his education here anymore since he didn't want to stay in this fourth-tier city anymore and wanted to go to the capital which was named one of the top three megacities with everything a person could ever need.

At the same time, he still didn't have enough money to just go there and start living life. So in the end Cyrus decided to drop out of college and find a nice hotel to stay at for at least a month so he could save up some money for one to leave for the Capital.

After a long and mostly silent drive Cyrus finally arrived at the nice hotel he booked for a month. The hotel offered lots of services such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a gym. And a chauffeur if you paid enough.

Quickly thanking his driver, and getting his room key from the receptionist, Cyrus quickly found his room and went in.

"Nice I could get used to this."

Looking around the hotel room which looked better than anywhere he's ever slept.

Taking out his phone Cyrus opened his most favorite app in the world.

"Only three days and I've already got 12k, with this I might as well only need three weeks before I take off." Cyrus said.

Closing the app Cyrus opened his bag and pulled out a book he had been wanting to read for a while.

"Let's just take it slow for this month, I'll have all the time in the world next month when I officially move to the capital." Cyrus said to himself as he relaxed while reading his book.

And with that Cyrus began what he called a little vacation, for the next month besides exercising every now and then and going out to fish or just hike on the mountains, most of his time was spent in the hotel reading all kinds of books and playing anything he wanted.

"Today is the day." Cyrus said to himself as he woke.

Today was the day Cyrus had been waiting for since he ever got the system, the day he would officially go to the capital and live out his dreams.

Opening his favorite app Cyrus saw how much he made while sleeping and couldn't help but laugh a little

At the same time, Cyrus opened his bank account to make sure he also had the right amount.

Laughing again Cyrus finally got ready and walked with his suitcase. He had already been preparing to check for two days as he also bought his ticket.

Unfortunately, since he was in a fourth-tier city he had to drive to the closest third-tier city and then hop on that plane.

Waiting for his car Cyrus once again made sure he had everything.

"Let's see it takes 30 minutes to go from here to Visgo, I should get there as the plane arrives in 1 hour, and I don't have much on me so the inspection line shouldn't take long."

"The only sad thing is that the plane doesn't have first-class seats or I would've taken them." Cyrus muttered as he saw his chauffeur coming.

Getting into the car Cyprus closed his eyes and thought about his plans, which he dramatically changed.

Instead of just going to the capital and booking an expensive hotel and living there for a few weeks while exploring the city, he changed his approach a little bit more and decided to stay with a classmate that had already lived in the capital for a couple of months before buying a house there.

Luckily the person he was staying with was the old student council president from his high school that went to the capital to work as a real estate agent.

'It would be good to see Cindy again, she was practically my everything during high school, luckily she'll still take me in.' Cyrus thought as the memories of high school came to him.

Because he was an orphan he often moved to foster homes every couple of years until he was 18, the only thing that didn't change was what school he was going to as there weren't that many different schools in this fourth-tier city.

Unfortunately for him he never really had any close friends besides Cindy, one of the most beautiful girls in the whole school.

When he first contacted her Cyrus was surprised she even responded, as everyone else had blocked him or just left him on read when he asked to stay with them for a while when he came to the capital.

'Well it's understandable we all graduated about a year ago, plus just one year in society probably changed them a lot. Plus im practically a complete stranger to everyone.'
