Awekening failed!

It was already afternoon and almost all the children of Sylvia clan were tested. Finally it was time for the test of Sophie and Evan.

By far, seven children in the ages of fourteen were able to awaken their body for heavenly elements. It was already a very good result. So every clansmen were in good spirit.

Sophie who was standing behind Lucas walked to the formation in the centre. Old lady Adaline looked at Sophie and a doting look appeared on her aged face. "Child, your talent was not worse than Levi, try your best", she spoke softly.

Sophie nodded and a serious look appeared on her pretty face. She put her daintly hands on top of the orb and tried to sense the surrounding. After three breaths of time, the orb started to glow brightly. This time it was glowing brighter than Levi and it almost covered an area of three metre. The orb was dazzling white in colour and a sacred feeliing was aroused by it. Mind of everyone became peaceful by this sacred aura.

An exhilarated look appeared on the face of old lady Adaline. "Sophie, after me and and your father, you are the third among Sylvia clan living members to awaken sacred light element. Now you can use your power to chase away ferocious beasts", she spoke with a hint of excitement in her voice. Dazzling smiles appeared on each Sylvia clan members' face after seeing Sophie's element. There was finally one of the junior generation emerged to inherit the mantle of their ancestors.

Light element was not a heavenly element. It was a more rare element of heaven and Earth compared to the five elements. 

Like five heavenly elements, there were some rare elements existed in heaven and Earth. A child who could show affinity towards those rare elements, considered as a supreme genius in the Thousand swords kingdom.

Finally it was time for Evan to go. While he was walking toward the stage, all children started cheering for him. "Evan, do your best", Levi shouted from side.

Evan looked towards Levi and a smile appeared on his face. He punched in the air and waved his little fists. "I will do my best", he proclaimed loudly.

Then he looked towards teacher Brianna and his mother before going to stage. "Child, don't be nervous", Olivia reminder him with a sweet voice.

Olivia didn't think much into it but Brianna had a tense expression on her face. Evan was only twelve. So, they were expecting little much from a twelve year young boy who had yet to reach the correct age of Awakening ceremony. If the ceremony was a success, Evan would become a never before seen genius of the Thousand swords kingdom and even if he failed, there would be not much harm for him.

Evan walked to the middle and put his hands on the orb. He closed his eyes and tried to feel the heavenly elements around him. At first he could not sense anything. Later he could feel the area where he stood attracting heavenly elements around him. He could feel all the elements in environment clearly.

Evan always wanted to awaken the fire element. It was considered a powerful element among the five heavenly elements and he would become a powerful warrior, if he awakened fire element.

He tried to pull crimson coloured fire element with his concentration. But to his astonishment he found purple and blue coloured elements with it. Purple represents the strongest of heavenly element, thunder element and blue represents the water element. Surprisingly Evan was awakening three elements at once. This kind of talent was heaven defying.

Orb was lit with three brilliant colour. There were also two other dimly lit colours. Everyone felt speechless for a moment after seeing it.

There was no word to describe this kind of situation. Everyone stared at the orb with a startled expression. Brianna looked at Evan and then to his mother with a complicated look.

Evan was slightly nervous because of the three elements he could sense. He was aware, how rare it was to attract three elements at once. He did his best to attract the elements towards his body but suddenly a heavy pressure came from the inner parts of his mind.

He felt a sharp pain in his brain. 'Puhawk", he threw up blood and his face turned pale. A violent pain stormed his mind and his conciousness began to fade away. "What is going on?", he thought inside his mind.

Before he completely lost his conciousness, he saw a sea of black color inside him!
