Bandits

As they rode on horseback, Kenji and Aya talked about their past experiences as samurai. Kenji had been trained by his father, a respected samurai, while Aya had learned from her grandfather, a retired samurai who had served the emperor for many years.

They both agreed that their training had taught them to always be vigilant and ready for any situation. As they continued on their journey, they encountered a group of bandits who had set up camp by the side of the road.

"Looks like we've found ourselves some trouble," Kenji said, drawing his sword.

Aya followed suit, and the two of them charged towards the bandits. The bandits were armed with swords and axes, but Kenji and Aya's superior training and skill made short work of them.

As the last of the bandits fell to the ground, Kenji looked around the campsite. He noticed a piece of cloth hanging from a tree, a symbol he recognized as belonging to a group of rogue samurai known for their brutality.

"I think we may have stumbled upon something bigger than just a group of bandits," Kenji said to Aya.

Aya nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. They searched the campsite for any clues and found a map with a location marked on it. Kenji recognized the location as a village he had passed through a few days ago.

"I think we should head to that village," Kenji said, showing Aya the map. "It could lead us to whoever is behind this."

Aya agreed, and they continued on their journey towards the village, their minds racing with possibilities of what they may encounter.
