Young Magus's Killing Spree of Mass Murderers (3)

2nd floor of XXX Mall,

Team 3 got down stealthily to 2nd floor from 3rd floor via emergency escape stairs. They started surveying 2nd floor together because of the unexpectable variable, knife.

Not far from them, there was a young man hiding in a shop. He could see team 3 through the glass walls of the shop. He shot two of his rifles together to malfunction 2 of team 3's rifles. Team 3 tried to fire back but knife shot one of his rifles yet again which in turn malfunctioned another rifle. Other entities had machine guns equipped rather than rifles. They shot their machine guns but knife used his shield to defend against them.

knife then grinned, "Should I pay tribute to my codename knife? Hahaha"

knife took out 5 of his knives and threw them in a spinning motion which in turn made knives move in a parabola over team 3. All members of team 3 didn't even consider it as a threat since their shields didn't consider it a threat. knife then took out another 5 knives and threw them towards a direction such that it intersected with the other 5 knives previously thrown. It was at that moment knife had thrown those 5 knives, shields of team 3 detected a threat and told them to move forward. But before they could even move forward after discovering the unknown threat, the five knives which knife had thrown the second time moved towards heads of team 3 after clashing with the fives previously thrown knives. Thus, team 3 died.

knife then moved towards 1st floor via emergency escape stairs by sliding through the hand rails of emergency escape stairs with the help of knife's own boots. knife did it for the sake of efficiency. knife then killed 2 of team 4's members individually with 2 consecutive headshots that were aimed at their heads through the shield. Other 3 were killed from behind with just a single rifle headshot.

knife similarly killed the team 4 surveying the ground floor and the team 9 guarding the entrances.

Yet again, knife also got rid of the team 5 surveying underground parking and the team 10 that guarded underground parking entrances. There is nothing that could stop knife.

"45 down, 5 to go. But unfortunately I can't kill them stealthily since they're outside. It's ok. I will forget about them. It seems like they were looking for any external threat."

Outside the XXX Mall, many people were protesting against the unexpected lockdown of XXX Mall for no reason. Police have already arrived. They were waiting since an outgoing message from the XXX Mall has already stated that it would take 2 hours for the situation to return to normal. The message also stated the details of hacking attempt that made their emergency measures in such an manner. Police couldn't detect anything inside since there seems to be a jamming device that's making it impossible for the police to have their devices to detect what's going on inside the Mall.

In fact, the only reason why this outgoing message was even sent was because of the device's technology capability to do so. It was made possible because of the magical materials used to make it. The owner of the Mall was a Magus after all. Ordinary Policemen has no right to own such a tool. Policemen also had no right to just intrude into Mall for no reason because a Magus is the owner of Mall.

Usually policemen would have the right to intrude into a Mall to do investigation for safety reasons but if a Magus was the the owner, then unless there's clear proof, policemen definitely can't intrude into the Mall. It's also just 2 hours of waiting. So, there was no problem. The only problem is that why would such a hacking attempt and jammers be utilized against the Mall.

When something harmful happens to a Magus businessman, appropriate actions will be immediately taken by Government. So, there is no reason for stupid people to just do such harmful actions against a Magus. It's quite impossible to escape from Magus kind when they are united.

Eventually, it became one hour since the lockdown had begun. Similarly, the lockdown measures were retracted.

But a bloody smell could be smelled. The policemen couldn't help but be worried. Their devices were useless because of jammers. Similarly, the Mall is also sound proof. So, they didn't know of anything that had occurred inside the Mall.

Ordinary people also detected the bloody smell. People wanted to get inside but unfortunately the policemen guarded all the entrances of Mall against the people. Policemen needed to have a better grasp of the situation. But policemen didn't have enough men to simultaneously guard the entrances and investigate the mall. So without hesitation, they asked for reinforcements.

Inside drainage system of separate parking ground of XXX Mall, a young man could be seen running at full speed. The young man then saw a huge nail slammed into the side of a manhole above him. Young man then threw a rope whose knot end then hung over the nail. He was just doing escape attempt that should have been done by the 45 men that he had killed. He then climbed up into the manhole, balanced his legs and hands between 2 ends of manhole and climbed up, slid open the manhole entrance, climbed up, closed the manhole entrance, and just walked towards a car parked not far from his spot.

The young man then knocked at the front glass. The front glass slid open, the young man showed the driver his phone which would confirm the fact that he was the one who had called the driver to come here.

"Where would you want to go?"

"Naisa Cafe"

"All right! Get on in."

The doors were unlocked, the young man sat in the backseat, and the car drove to Naisa Cafe.

"By the way, what were you doing here? Wasn't the mall in lockdown state?"

"I had a movie planned to watch like 20 minutes ago. It's late anyway. Anyway, I would like some silence now. Remind me when we arrive at Naisa Cafe.", the young man didn't lie. He truly had a movie booked but no one would know his whereabouts since all the camera footages that have been stored from few hours ago till now have been deleted by those killers.

In fact, the current camera system is completely malfunctioned thanks to the killers. Even the security staff of this parking area just recently changed their shifts few minutes ago. The car had a glass such that no one from outside can view people inside. He even entered with his current get up 2 hours ago and then exited in a different getup. Even if a Magus intervenes, they wouldn't be able to trace me due to my uniqueness that even I don't know. I just know that would be the situation if a Magus who is good at tracking appears.

10 minutes later, the car stopped in front of Naisa Cafe. Eventually, the young man got out of the car. He then payed money to the driver via online transaction using his phone.

"Naisa Cafe..., I wonder if he's still here."

The young man opened the door, searched around and finally saw a brown coloured hair man sitting in front of a table. The man seems to be extremely angry, that's not it, he is definitely very angry, he is just holding most of his anger deep inside himself. The man was called Ragnar Vermillion, a very strong Magus assigned to guard himself by his mother.

'It's time to face his anger. He will only shout at me since he is my bodyguard but I definitely will have to endure his intense shouting but I am natural when it comes to ignoring people.'

The young man gallantly walked towards Ragnar. Ragnar finally noticed the young man walking towards him. In response, he unconsciously released an intense aura that everybody inside the cafe could feel. All of them shivered not knowing where this aura came from. The young man just sat on a chair opposite to Ragnar while smiling like always.

"I'm sorry, everyone. This magus just didn't have a good day.", spoke the young man loudly.

Everyone heard the young man, looked over at the young man, and then looked at the man sitting opposite to the young man. Their bodies shivered intensely upon witnessing the man's intense glaring at the young man.

"I would like to have a normal coffee with no sugar.", spoke the young man.

"Ah! Y-yes. Sure will do so.", spoke an attendant of the cafe.

"You should know that I am very good at ignoring people. My mom is the best proof for it.", spoke the young man.

"You're right. But you need to give me an explanation. If you explain it to me sincerely, I will explain it in a way to your mother such that she will lower your punishment. The only reason you could ignore me like this is because you know that I can't beat you. But that ain't the case for your mother herself."

For a while, the young man didn't say anything, he then got his coffee, drank the coffee, got up from his chair, and said, "Let's talk in the car."

Ragnar didn't say anything for a while while the young man walked away towards the exit. But Ragnar sighed, then he also similarly got up from his chair and walked towards the exit.

"Yesterday night, I awakened as a Magus.", spoke the young man calmly as it's nothing great.

"W-what did you just say?", asked Ragnar as if he just misheard what he had heard.

"I awakened as a Magus yesterday.", spoke the young man in a lazy manner.

"... Congratulations! So you awakened yesterday? Why didn't you say it right away?", spoke Ragnar joyously.

'Actually, I awakened four and half months ago. But I definitely won't say it or else I would get unordinary punishment from Mom.', thought the young man.

"Wanted to feel Mysterious... That's why I ran away, to feel mysterious. I definitely gonna be an assassin. It's so cool!", exclaimed the young man.

"Mysterious... FOR REAL?!? YOU'RE SAYING THAT YOU JUST JEOPARDIZED YOUR SAFETY FOR THE SAKE OF THIS MYSTERIOUS FEELING YOU WANTED TO HAVE?!?"

"Finally the shouting... it's been a long time since I had the chance to annoy you. Huhuhu."

Ragnar didn't say anything for a while.

"Do you think that just because you became a Magus, your mother would go easy on you with your punishment? You're not stupid. You know how much she loves you. She would still love you the same way even if you're not a Magus. Your mother, Elaine Gremory is the head of Gremory Family that basically governs Erlion state which is the 7th largest and the 3rd most powerful state of United Federation. Her enemies also knows that you're very precious to herself because you're her son, Asnor Gremory. If not for my uniqueness, she would never have been satisfied with the fact that you only have one guardian. If not for me, your freedom would've been greatly limited. I thought you knew this and that's also why I let my guard down which in turn gave you the opportunity to flee."

"I know. I won't repeat it next time. I just wanted to feel free for once, that was all there is to it."

Ragnar didn't say anything after hearing what Asnor had said. He just kept driving.
