Lithale grabbed the clear capsule that held the soul of Lux. He focused on it and began to analyze it. He didn't do in full in depth analysis in fear of damaging the soul for it was a pain to repair any damaged soul. Malstilla looked over his shoulder at the soul as she finished what was left of her drink, which wasn't much.
When she saw that it was empty she turned a bit sad, she turned it upside down to make sure that it was empty. She then let out a sigh and lazily threw the glass high into the sky. The glass shot up into the sky at a rapid pace despite the lax energy she put into it.
She then made a finger gun and aimed at the glass. She focused a small bit of her energy into the point of her finger tip. "Bam!" she said as she shot the glass in the sky.
The glass didn't have an immediate reaction to being shot by something for superior to gods and celestial beings. It suspended itself in the air and began to started violently shuttering. The glass then started to invert and collapse into itself, various angles of the glass started to contort in strange ways. It then finally shattered, the shards blossomed across the sky. The glass shards shimmered brightly like glitter as it feel onto the ground.
"To think that I would see one of these kind again," Lithale said as he held the soul of Lux close to his eyes. He ignored what Malstilla did as it wasn't the weirdest way she has threw away a drinking glass she was done with.
"Ah the Prototype generation, back when we were trying to figure out how to make souls. Dear god that takes me back, I was so young back then, I was only a few thousand years old when they decided to make these."
The first generation of souls ever created were heavily flawed to say least. Others would said that each proto generation soul was unique as they were 'Untainted' or rather the actions they made were not motivated by an exterior or driving influence. They would practically be the personification of a value, action, or in some cases an emotion. This would cause most souls to destroy their vessels, constantly being put into the reincarnation cycle.
However history bores many people and rarely useful for people like them who have lived through it.
"Alright what world should we put him in? I got many for us to pick from." Lithale said as he grinned from his own farmer pun. Malstilla let out a disappointed groan in response.
Lithale flicked his wrist and with it the grounds started to shake. The soil beneath their feet felt loose and unsteady, the heels sinking into the ground from their own weight.
A massive tree sprouted from the ground, the trunk was thick and firm. Its branches hang low with it's heavy fruit. These fruits were circular in shape and gave a gentle, colorful glow. Each of these fruits were colorful, each a unique shade of a color that the measly human couldn't perceive with its three coned eyes. Its grand roots spread across the world and anchored the giant being into place.
"You must have a lot of trust in me to show where you keep your worlds." Malstilla said as she wondered around the tree and gazed closely at the fruit.
"Well Malstilla you were the one who said 'Lithale wouldn't it be a cool idea of you made a tree to store your worlds in? You could even replace the fruits with Universes.' so yeah I do feel safe," Lithale said as he circled the tree on the opposite side. Malstilla stuck out her tongue at Lithale as she continued to gaze at the fruits on the tree, searching for a world to put Lux in.
Lithale played with the soul, tossing it between each hand with each throw being faster. He continued this to pass the time as Malstilla was making her selection.
"This one" she said, pointing to a fruit the was in the middle section of the tree. It had a bright grey color, the ordinary person would think that the fruit was overripe and rotting on the tree branch, taking away nutrients from its mother. Upon closer look they would see the surface of fruit was firm and supple, perfect for eating.
Lithale got closer to Malstilla and focused on where she was pointing. After a moment of arguing of which fruit she was pointing at Lithale finally found the right fruit she was pointing at. He focused his energy and flicked his finger, aiming at the branch the held the fruit.
From his finger a blade of wind spawned from his finger and cut off the branch with the fruit it had. He jumped and caught the branch in mid fall. Lithale then plucked off the fruit from the broken branch and tossed the stick on the ground. The roots of the World tree quickly moved to absorb its broken branch for nutrients.
"You sure that this is the one?" Lithale said as he held the fruit in one hand and the soul of Lux in the other. Malstilla had a smile on her face and nodded.
Lithale then began to unscrew the top of the capsule and spilled the soul out and collected it in his hand, quickly throwing away the capsule. A soft light spilled from his hand light like water overflowing a cup. He held it high into the sky, eclipsing the sun in his eyes. He stared into the soul, to see a part of what it truly was, . He let out a warm smile, his eyes turned gentle, and let out a warm aura.
No wonder why it felt familiar to him.
He then dug his fingernail in the fruit, deep enough to open it but not enough to spill a drop of its. In this gash of the fruit he pour the soul into it, there was no resistance or necessary force for Lithale to get Lux into the new universe.
After the soul was absorbed by the fruit, Lithale rubbed the gash gently and the fruit returned to its unblemished state.
Lithale got close Malstilla and stood shoulder to shoulder. Despite being significantly taller than her, he leaned his head on her shoulder. A soft breeze pasted by them and kissed both of their faces. "Can you summon the mirror, please?" Lithale said.
Malstilla waved her hand and a pink mist came out from her hand, it sank into the ground. The grains of soil lifted from the earth and weaved a beautiful mirror. The mirror had no impurities, casting a perfect reflection of what was caught in its view.
Lithale dug his thumb into the fruit, its juices dropping onto the mirrors surface. The image on the glass mirror began to change and showed the world from an aerial view. He tapped on the edge of the mirror and began to configure it to find where Lux's soul went.
"I guess the world is still trying to decide which body to put that soul in." Lithale said after he tried many times to find where Lux ended up. After a while the mirror changed its image, it focused on a town right near a bustling citadel.
They looked at the mirror for a while but it felt to both of them.. Limiting in a way. There was a better way to watch what will happen to Lux.
"This is great and all but I think you and I want a closer and more personal view, no?" Malstilla said, breaking away from the mirror. Lithale answered with a big smile. He then reached out and grabbed Malstilla's hand.
When she felt his hand she turned to him and stared at his brightly colored powdered face. She let a small smile as a sense of nostalgia flooded over her. A brief moment of memories of her and Lithale together, fooling around with worlds and causing chaos throughout the universes they created together.
She then turned her head back to the mirror and did a small nod. Together they walked into the mirror and into the world that they transmigrated Lux.
