Chapter 1- Leandra

Chou rise up at dawn, as usual, he do his training in a daily basis. As Chou Jog around the Land of dawn, he come across a theives attempting to harrass a girl in a dark and quite place.

Chou stands infront of them. "Leave her alone!"

"And who are you?" One of the theives asked.

He swiped his nose with his thumb. "I'm Chou! I'm an Eruditio guard. Leave her alone and you may go in peace."

The thieves laugh at him like there's a clown telling a funny joke.

"I warn all of you! or else, suffer the consequences." Chou said.

"Well, let me take this one all by myself." One of the theives rushed upon Chou.

What Chou did shocked the rest, in a lightning speed, Chou take on their companion.

"I tell you. Leave her alone and you may go in peace."

The rest attacked Chou, but he take all of them with ease. The ramaining theives run away.

Chou and the maiden looked at each other's eyes and there's something like a spark between the two of them.

"Are you alright?" Chou asked.

"Y-Yes.. I'm ok."

"It's dangerous outside, what are you doing around here?"

"Ahhh.. I'm wandering around."

"I'll help you to find your way home." Chou said.

"ahh.. I have no home, I'm alone in life."

"Hmm.. Really?"

"Yes.."

"I'll take home with me for now.. Come with me."

"No, I can take care of myself.. Don't worry about me." The maiden said.

"It's dangerous outside, let me find you a temporary shelter for now. Come with me."

Chou and the maiden moved on.

Chou took the maiden in his house. She has an angelic face that can soften evryone's hearts even the iron one. They drink tea together in one table.

"What was your name? Where do you came from?" Chou asked.

The maiden become silent in a minute. "I'm Leandra, I came from far away land. I live in a tribe but were attacked by our enemies and I'm the only one survived."

"Really?" Chou looked at her trying to figure out if she's telling the truth.

Tears started to fall from Leandra's eyes, she displayed the face of a sorrowful angel.

Chou feels sympathy to her and let her stay with him for awhile in one roof.

Hours has passed, the time for the darkness to cover the whole sky has come, Chou prepare the bed. Chou give Leandra a place to sleep.

"How about you? Where will you sleep?" Leandra asked.

Chou spread a mat on the floor beside the bed and he lie on it. "There."

"I must be in that place instead, and you're there."

"I've been lying there all time, I must try another one." Chou said. "Good night."

Chou closed his eyes. Leandra keeping her eyes on Chou while his eyes closed, then looked away, and there's something else she think about, seems like as deep as the deepest sea.
