CHAPTER II: THE POWER OF LIGHT

Lunox is the only child of King Gzellie and Queen Ashnea. She is the prettiest among all other female mages around Hanthor, she had golden white hair on the other side and dark color on the other, just like her hair one feature that made Lunox different from the other mages were her wings, one side was light and the other was dark. She grew up with love and attention by her parents. Everything lunox wanted her parents gave her. When lunox was 5 years old she was already displaying her magical powers some of the days she would let magical ball of lights surround her. Wherever she goes this magical orb of lights would always follow. and some days dark magical orbs appears around her just like the magical orb of light. Gzellie noticed something in this unique magic powers of Lunox. Whenever Lunox is Happy bright magical orbs appears and when she gets mad dark magical orbs appear around her. It was an adavantage for the King and Queen, It made it easier for them to understand what Lunox is Feeling. But theres more than that, it is not just about Lunox's mood or what she feels along with Lunox's switching orb from light to dark is a mysterious curse.

When Lunox turned 12, her parents decided to put her to school. Swacthzald the school of the greatest Magicians is where her parents put her to. In Swachtzald, Lunox met one of the powerful mages in Hanthor. A mage controlling the power of light, Professor Gord. As the day goes by in Swacthzald, Gord notices the orbs surrounding Lunox switching from light to dark whenever she is happy or mad. As a mage controlling the power of light he got curious and asked about the magical light orbs. Lunox could not give Gord an answer. Gord was very interested in the light orb since the light emanating from lunox is one that he has seen before. Gord made a research about Lunox and found out about her history. From that day Gord treated lunox in a very different way. He would teach lunox things the other students do not know specially in controlling the light Orbs. Until such time that lunox was able to harness the power of the light orb. Lunox became close with Professor Gord that she treated him as her second father, Gzellie entrusted lunox to Gord to teach her how to properly control her powers.

on her 13th Birthday Lunox had already mastered the power of the light orb. She could already control seperately from her emotions, Gord was very proud of her because in just a short span of time Lunox mastered her light powers. During the celebration of her 13th Birthday an uninvited guest appears. A dark cloud appears as the uninvited guest enters the scene, as the cloud clears her hands became visible, they were so big and had terrifying long nails. the sound of shackle balls rings the area and everyone was wondering who she is and when the smoke finally cleared a sinister smile from the mage ruler of the west Vexana covered with dark green dress and draping with glowing liquids almost coming out of her body.!!! everyone was startled because they thought Vexana is dead and she looked very different. The Vexana they know was one of the prettiest mages in Hanthor but people never knew about the things She has been through. She offered Lunox a gift to help her learn how to master the dark orbs. Vexana knew about Lunox's powers since it quickly spread the whole of Hanthor. Once Lunox heard the offer of Vexana she began to think whether to accept the offer or not but her parents refused the offer of Vexana. Gzellie told Vexana to leave, While looking at Lunox's eyes its as if Lunox could hear Vexana's voice in her head whispering " follow the darkness... where the dark light leads you is where ill Be". As Vexana leaves the scene Lunox could not take her eyes off of Vexana and she fainted.

Days after Vexana's unexpected visit Lunox had terrible dreams. War, a very tragic war. On her sleep Lunox got awaken by this terrible nightmare and as she opens her eyes she heard a voice similar to one that she heard during her birthday. It was creepy and silent. as she lays down on her bed Dark light suddenly appears around her. She knows that she did not summon them or caused it by her madness

so she knows it was not her doing that. The orbs suddenly moves beside her window. outside her window was the forest, the orbs flew directly to the forest lighting the darkness of the night. Out of curiosity Lunox followed the light. she passed through the castle guards without them knowing and was able to go to the forest using a secret passage . There in the forest she saw the orbs floating and almost like calling her. The Orb moved deeper into the forest and lunox followed. In the deepest part of the forest the dark orb suddenly Vanished. Lunox Summoned one of her light orbs. The orb was so bright, lighting up the forest, the light emanating from the orb was visible from the castle. A sudden voice was heard and just like what Lunox thought who it would be, she gracefully appeared out of no where, Vexana!!!

" I knew it was you, what do you need from me?" a question from the innocent young girl Lunox. " Its not me who needs you, its you who needs me" Vexana answered.

" Child, you have been bestowed by the power of the Hogyoukou ( The most powerful Orb created

by the 13 most powerful wizards of Hanthor)".

"You're the reason behind all my nightmares right ?" Lunox asking Vexana. "No, its the power that you have in you not me" Vexana answered. " What about this power ? why does it make me suffer these nightmares ?"... "Child, Haven't your parents told you about the hogyoukou ?" ... " No, What about the hogyoukou?" While Lunox and Vexana was having their conversation Castle guards Suddenly appear they were ordered by king Gzellie. Gzellie saw the light from the castle and knew that It was Lunox since Lunox had a very unique Light. Vexana whispered something and reached her hand out to Lunox's head she left a mark on Lunox and Right before the castle guards get close Vexana had already Vanished leaving Lunox on the ground unconscious.

The guards brought Lunox back to the castle.
