Jealous Mr. Mo

The next morning, Xiao Hui woke up with a smile. When he woke, Yun XI was still asleep in the bed whereas Mo Shan could not be seen in the room. He then turned his head towards Yun XI and kept looking at her with blissful eyes. He would even blush from time to time.

That was the scene Mo Shan saw when he came inside the room. His son was behaving foolishly but he could see that his son was really happy. He was jealous of his son that he got to sleep in the same bed as Yun Xi.

When he heard the door open, Xiao Hui looked to see who was on the door. But when he realized that it was his father, he completely ignored him and went back to observe Yun Xi's sleeping face.

Xiao Hui laid on his stomach put his elbow on the pillow and kept looking at Yun Xi with both hands in his cheeks. He then remembered the day of the exhibition and a smile found its way in his face again. He wished to meet her again after that day but never believed that he would actually meet her this soon. He really was feeling giddy.

Maybe because she felt someone gawking at her in her sleep, Yun Xi slowly opened her eyes. When she saw Xiao Hui's magnified face in front of her, she smiled and hugged him in her arms. "Good morning, darling." She greeted him.

Xiao Hui blushed and sat without moving in Yun Xi's embrace. He was feeling the warmth he had never felt before. Now, he finally knew the feeling of having a mother by his side.

While the two were enjoying each other's presence, someone was eating a jar of vinegar. "Hah! They completely forgot my presence here." Mo Shan scoffed.

After that, he coughed loud and spoke, "Xiao Hui, get freshen up first. I have bought you a new toothbrush and paste. Quick, now. Your breath must be stinking."

When he heard his father that his breath must be stinking, he felt really embarrassed and was on the verge of crying. His pretty sister must have thought he was a dirty child.

Seeing his crying expression, Yun Xi chuckled and took him in her arms again. "Who said you are stinking? You smell so good." She said.

When he heard this, Xiao Hui felt happy and did not forget to glare at his father. He even smirked looking at his father.

Mo Shan just shook his head looking at his son. "Come now." He beckoned his son.

But Xiao Hui just sat there and kept on glaring at his father as if saying I do not follow liars.

Mo Shan just shook his head and walked towards his son sighing. He knew his son was angry with him, so he just carried him directly and brought him to the washroom.

"Now, now. Don't behave like a child." Mo Shan told his son.

"But, I am just five." Xiao Hui replied, "and you lie too."

"I just wanted you to look and smell good in front of your pretty sister, that's why I told you that.' Mo Shan explained to his son.

"Father, do you think I am stupid? You clearly were jealous of me." Xiao Hui looked at his father with accusing eyes.

It was really difficult to raise such a smart child. He could not even be fooled nor sweet-talked.

"Okay, fine. Father is sorry. Now, freshen up quickly. I have called Assistant Zhang to bring some clothes and breakfast too." Mo Shan told his son.

Then he walked out of the bathroom and saw that Yun XI was sleepy even till now. It was already 9 in the morning. He went to her and said, "I am sorry. Because of Xiao Hui, you did not get enough sleep. You can sleep a bit more."

Hearing Mo Shan's voice made Yun Xi completely awake and replied, "No, it's fine. It's just that I tend to sleep a lot these days. But you need not worry about it. Moreover, I like Xiao Hui and can wake up at any time for him."

After those words came from her mouth, the room fell into complete silence. Yun Xi berated herself inside, "Are you crazy? Why are you sounding like his mother?" But then another voice spoke up from her heart, "Don't you want to be his mother? You like him so much."

Yun Xi shivered realizing that she really thought of becoming Xiao Hui's mother. She scolded herself for thinking like this and shook her head to get away from that thought.

Mo Shan saw that she was lost in her own thought so he spoke, "Miss Yun, are you okay? What are you thinking about?"

Yun Xi came out of her thoughts when she heard him. She looked at him and said, "Oh, nothing. I think I should freshen up too, hehe." With that, she ran to the bathroom and closed the door behind her.

But she forgot that Xiao Hui was still there. Xiao Hu saw that his pretty sister was there and her face was red. So, he asked worriedly, "Pretty sister, are you sick?"

When Yun Xi heard Xiao Hui's voice, she jumped and nearly screamed aloud. She had forgotten that Xiao Hui was in the bathroom. She hurriedly calmed herself and smiled at Xiao Hui, "No, pretty sister is completely fine."

"Then, why is your face so red?" Xiao Hui asked back.

"Is it? Maybe because I just woke up" Yun XI replied awkwardly.

Then, they brushed their teeth and washed face together. Yun Xi helped Xiao Hui to wipe his wet face. If it was other people, Xiao Hui would hardly let others touch her face but he really enjoyed Yun Xi's touch. He always felt warmth when he was with Yun XI.

They came out together holding hands and smiling. Mo Shan's eyes fell on them and his face turned gentle. They had become the only source of light for his life. He realized that he has never seen such a blissful expression on his son's face till now.

"Are you two done? Come sit on the couch. Breakfast must be arriving soon." As soon as he finished speaking, a knock sounded on the door.

"Come in." Mo Shan spoke to whoever was outside the door.

The door produced a creek sound when it was opened and Assistant Zhang's smiling face could be seen.

"Boss" he called and walked inside. He had many paper bags in his hands. He gently placed them on the table.

"Boss, this is the breakfast you ordered." He pointed to one bag, then pointed at the other and said, "These are your and little master's clothes."

He looked at Yun Xi and pointed at the last two bags smilingly, "these two bags are for you, Miss Yun. One bag contains clothes for you and the other contains shoes."

After he finished speaking, Xiao Hui walked ahead and brought the bags which contained Yun Xi's clothes and shoes towards her. "Pretty sister, here." He handed them to her.

Yun Xi was stunned and looked at Mo Shan as if questioning what those are here for.

Mo Shan understood her and replied, "The clothes you came hearing wearing had gotten dirty, so I threw them away. As for the shoe, you were wearing heels which is not suitable for you as you are pregnant now. So, I threw them away too." He replied indifferently.

Yun Xi wanted to cry listening to his words. They were her new clothes and shoe she recently bought and he threw them away. But she could not scold him either as he did it for her own good. So, she just accepted those bags and thanked him.

Assistant Zhang then began to arrange the dishes on the table. The breakfast he brought was all plain and nutritious. Mo Shan was afraid that Yun Xi would be sensitive to smell and may throw up so he had ordered Assistant Zhang to bring only plain foods for now.

After placing them neatly, Assistant Zhang spoke, "Boss, breakfast is ready. You may dig in now."

Instead of sitting, Mo Shan gestured for Yun Xi to take a seat first. Yun Xi then bowed her head slightly and took a seat, then she beckoned Xiao Hui to sit next to her.

After Xiao Hui took the seat, she asked him if he needed her to feed him. Actually, he could eat by himself but he wanted to eat from Yun Xi's hand, so he replied, "It would be my honor, pretty sister."

Yun Xi patted his head and began to feed him. Mo Shan was dissatisfied and said, "He can eat by himself, Miss Yun. You should just start eating otherwise it won't taste good if food becomes cold."

"It's okay. I will eat while feeding him." Yun Xi smiled gently.

Xia Hui snickered at his father with disdainful eyes. Still, jealous of me, hmph, he thought.

Yun Xi saw that Assistant Zhang was just standing so she said, "Mr. Assistant, you must be hungry. Take a seat and have breakfast with us."

Assistant Zhang felt that his lady boss was so good but still replied, "It's okay, Ma'am. I will have it later."

But, Mo Shan cut him off and said, "Just sit and dig in. The breakfast you bought is enough for all of us."

Assistant Zhang then took the seat and began to eat up. It was his first time eating with his boos in the same table thanks to his lady boss. "I must get on the good side of lady boss" he thought.

Breakfast soon ended and Xiao Hui was really satisfied with it.

Assistant Zhang went to wash the dishes and Yun Xi helped Xiao Hui to change his clothes. Xiao Hui was actually embarrassed but still let Yun Xi do it. Yun Xi even helped him comb his hair neatly. Mo Shan also came out after changing in the bathroom. He was embarrassed to admit that he was jealous of his own son.
