His existence is peculiar; he was never programmed to be part of the story, or even to exist in The Last Fantasy game world itself. Yet, here he stands, defying fate! Through his extraordinary presence, he captivates the attention of all; players, NPCs, GMs, and even those who proudly embody the concepts of regressors, reincarnators, rebirth, and divine powers. Along his vast and unguided journey, he encounters countless anomalies. Confronted by beings who claim not to belong to this realm, each with their own goals and threats. Ultimately, it is Anubis who will raise the curtain, inviting those who assert their ownership of this world, and unveiling the true purpose of his existence and the enigmatic secrets that lie within.

Before Anubis could delve further into Valeria's other active and passive abilities, her first skill, Radixvoratus Vimen, had already impressed him. Anubis had never realized the true power of a druid in close combat, and he was now pleasantly surprised. "Radixvoratus Vimen seems to work in a similar way to one of my abilities. How about you show me how this particular ability works now?" he asked, curious about the outcome of the skill.

Valeria slightly raised her hand, and two root-like tendrils emerged from the ground, following her movements. "It seems to have a range and distance limitation for this ability to be effective," she admitted.

Even so, that alone was already quite astonishing. It functioned similarly to Anubis's Crimson Flame, where the limitation was only defined by the user's creativity. Real combat experience would still be required, but with this skill, Valeria's potential had expanded beyond just a one-time use ability.

With Radixvoratus Vimen, Valeria could fulfill multiple roles in battle, both as a supportive character and a sub-DPS. The former was undoubtedly the most beneficial, although a significant hindrance to achieving it was leveling up. Low-level support was essentially useless. However, to level up, the sub-DPS build could be employed. In this case, specialized equipment and items focusing on a particular attribute that had proven to increase damage per second would be required.

"Then what other skills should I take, Master?" Valeria asked eagerly.

Anubis sighed, considering her question carefully. "There are none for now," he replied.

Valeria's face fell in disappointment. "Why?!" she exclaimed.

Anubis gently explained, "Your skill points are still very limited, if not nonexistent. We still don't know your potential in a real battle, and I'll judge that later. Taking a skill arbitrarily now just because it can add to our arsenal is not a wise move."

It's not just that, Anubis knew that their attribute statuses were already at a higher level than normal monsters and adventurers out there on the same level. The only entities they needed to be concerned about were those at higher levels. If they were to turn offensive, their only option for survival would be to retreat. This had been proven during Anubis's battle with GM-Hugo.

GM-Hugo's ability to instantly jump to level 30 was indeed unique and peculiar. It seemed that the status he received in that condition was predetermined, giving him a significant advantage. Anubis, at level 22, believed that he could match GM-Hugo in that particular situation. However, GM-Hugo had another unique path—he could forcibly bypass the usual limitations and further enhance his abilities and overall status. In such a situation, Anubis realized that he had no chance of succeeding against GM-Hugo.

Nevertheless, Anubis had a sense that even adventurers who were 10 levels higher than him would not pose a problem. However, this assessment was limited to the concept of levels and did not take into account other supporting factors.

Valeria bowed slightly without hesitation. "I'm here only to follow your orders, Master," she said.

"Now, let's see if we can find any armor you can use at your level," Anubis said, walking over to one of the armors inside the glass case. "We'll need to make sure you're properly equipped before we head out for any battles."

"Eh?! Are you done already?" Valeria, surprised by the sudden change of topic, followed after him. "Are you not interested in my other abilities?" she asked more.

"I've already memorized them, don't worry," Anubis replied casually. "Before you reach level 10, there's no need to acquire any other skills."

Valeria pondered over her current situation, realizing that mastering the two main skills Anubis had emphasized was crucial. It was like laying a solid foundation that needed to be truly mastered rather than simply being aware of them.

Just like someone who initially couldn't ride a bicycle but eventually learned not only to ride it but also to control speed, calculate momentum, and perform freestyle moves. Such mastery would prove that her basic skills were no longer ordinary, but surpassed those of a regular cyclist.

However, Valeria couldn't help but express her uncertainty as she looked at an item in the glass case, noting that its required level far exceeded her current level. She questioned, "I-Is there anything I can use, and is it really that important? Don't low-level equipment usually have minimal impact?"

It was true that early items at level 1 typically provide minimal additional stats, if any. It serves more as basic equipment to wear rather than offering substantial benefits. Generally, the higher the level requirement, the greater the benefits. But were the items collected by the Ministers of the Vampire Lord of low quality?

Anubis understood that a higher level wasn't always advantageous in every situation and for everyone. There must be a reason why the Ministers had gathered these items in the Treasure Chamber and why they had chosen specific items to collect.

By studying them, one could discern a special pattern behind their collection in one place. Setting aside items with excessively high level requirements, there is another glass case containing items with level requirements as low as 1.

"It seems that the Ministers collected items based on their uniqueness, whether it be rare stats or inherent abilities," Anubis speculated. "I'm grateful because, thanks to their collection, you'll have early equipment that's more valuable than the typical gear adventurers wear, which is often considered trash."

Valeria listened intently, her eyes shining with curiosity, and asked, "Master... Why have you only been talking about me? What about you? I don't see you wearing any special items."

Anubis glanced and replied, "Are you sure you want to know the reason? It's actually quite simple, and you'll soon come to realize it."
