Watching Valyr fight against the feral humans from afar with his newly obtained powers, Hal and Vera were both left at a loss for words from what they were seeing.

Even though there were more feral humans surrounding him, the young man fought against them as if everything was choreographed from the start.

In fact, the number of feral humans that charged towards him was far greater than what even Hal and Vera had experienced thus far. 

Yet, the young man still acted with relative ease, casting a barrier to block their attacks before sending out an attack of his own that set the whole area ablaze.

Witnessing the azure flames gradually engulf Valyr's opposition, Hal sucked in a breath of cold air before glancing at the young woman beside him.

Of course, just like him, Vera was left at a loss for words.

In their minds, they could not understand how disappearing for half a day could allow someone to get that strong.
