26. Demonic mana core
Jack rested for few minutes and entered the treasury with bated breaths, the fairy was also interested in the loot jack would get as she could not use equipments or skill scrolls.
After entering jack saw three tripod like structures in front of him with central one having a chest, right one having a orb and left one a cylindrical tool with a small bag of soul stones, on his right and left were shelves containing lot of demonic orbs after seeing them he was shocked because the room was filled with demonic energy but jack was late and lot of it has entered his body jack could feel his body burning he quickly stored all items he could but he couldn't store the orb so he picked it up and walked out of room.
Burning sensation didn't stop and the demonic energy was corrupting his mind with negative emotions he was thinking about his struggles, pain he has gone through and all he will get is a death through demonic corruption thinking this his thoughts become more violent and started thinking about destroying and killing and breaking everything, suddenly a holy aura enveloped him and calm regained his mind.

While entering the treasury I felt a ominous felling and before I warn jack he entered the treasure room or so we previously thought but just after few seconds jack ran out of the room and his eyes which were usually gentle became that of some one in agony and after a few seconds they become full of anger like that of a demonic beast and out of reflex I used holy water that was stored in my dimensional storage and put it on his head, his eyes calmed but he was still in pain, he fell to the ground I was startled but seeing him breathing I calmed and used my newly acquired purification magic as well as healing magic, when jack leveled up to level 10 i did the same and unlocked my previous locked skill purification, slowly jack calmed down completely and all the demonic energy vanished from him or so i thought.
Actually when ferra put holy water on jack the holy energy and demonic energy started fighting each other which in turn led to jacks health to decrease but the holy energy was insufficient for a fight against demonic energy but it was sufficient to jack to regain his senses and jack started fighting the demonic energy it was impossible for jack to fight at start but the energy could not enter jacks soul to completely corrupt jack and take control of jack due to Jack's ability 'soul barrier' as the foreign energy focused on breaking the barrier jack focused on taming the energy he used previous holy energy in his mana and made his mana a holy elemental one and started attacking the foreign energy with the help of ferra's purification and holy mana he finally tamed the demonic energy a little and made a temporary core inside his body of mana with demonic energy inside it, as for how he was able to do it, in his last life he had learnt mana manipulation to some extent to learn aura, he also got few notifications during all this happened.

Jack opened his eyes and told fairy to use heal and purification on him once again, after she healed jack he stud up and started streching all his body was stiff due to a temporary demonic transformation, he thanked fairy for her help and she was happy that I understood her contribution to him being living now, jack put all her words to back of his head and said
"with all magic skills and stats locked I'm back to my old self, so to reach my next target I have to do it the old school way, to run with all the speed I have ."
Jack was about to take off but the fairy stopped him and brought out a pair of shoes from her storage.

He is a apostle of god of riches, not many people know it and they try to steal from him, he can't kill him due to the rules but he sure punishes them badly and never lets them trade with him ever again.
That is worst than being a cripple in elysium because gold is the only thing he wants and he can do anything for it, other merchants have outrageous demands like soul stones, mana crystals, etc. for your exclusive ordered items.
While jack was running he could see everything due to his mental eyes and he avoided beasts easily through this, so jack decided to check the item he got from the treasury.
