In front of them stood a forest with no sign of its end. It was the Dark Forest, the third phase of the Dungeon of Night.
The Dark Forest was different than other two phases as there wouldn't be any undead facing them here. Their opponents were the trees themselves.
Eternity Seeker looked at his group and then entered the forest. The trees in front of the group were twisted, while the ground was covered in their roots.
Several of the roots pierced through other trees, joining them. From above, the dark forest was like a giant tree, with all the trees here as its branches.
The group pushed their way through the tangled roots and their sharp edges. Aakesh and Eternity Seeker had their weapons drawn, ready to attack anytime. The healers were in the middle, under the protection of the warriors and the mages.
