In the quest settings of <<REBIRTH >>, defeating the BOSS might not directly mean that the quest is completed. Sometimes, when the BOSS is defeated but the quest items were stolen, the quest would be counted as a failure.
Since Doak's appearance, he had been seeking for the King of Beast Dijun's head. Hence, if Doak manages to keep the King of Beast Dijun's head, this mission would not be able to be completed.
The Resurrection Totem had more than a minute left. With it around, no matter how capable Fearless and the rest were, they would not be able to surpass the Dusk Magical Ape's defence of unlimited resurrection. Doak's advancing speed was not fast but was not slow too. He definitely could pick the head up before the Resurrection Totem's effect ended.
"Damn it, Doak is coming. He must be here to snatch it!" Quan Zhen Sect also realised it as they saw how Doak disregarded everything else and headed towards them.
