The ambiance was luxurious, with dim lighting casting a warm glow over the polished wooden tables and plush leather seating. The aroma of sizzling meat tantalized the senses as they were escorted to their table, where a sleek grill awaited their palate.

Xiaxia was amazed. "I bet it's expensive here," she remarked, her eyes scanning the elegant surroundings. "You shouldn't have brought us here, Victor."

"Xiaxia's right," Xin chimed in, his tone didn't give anything away. "She might just end up causing a mess. It's better if we grab some street food instead."

"Hey!" Xiaxia retorted, a hint of annoyance in her voice.
