Flux crossed his arms. "So what you're saying is . . . someone stole your name, Lord Schrödinger, when you changed it and this player secretly entered into our ranks during our expedition while using your name?"
Xin nodded. His expression didn't give anything away. "I say that's plausible. He must have known about my ability of creating golems, which coincided with his ability. So he devised a plan to enter into your ranks using my former gaming name, and put the blame in me."
Xin wanted to pat himself on the back for a job well done at lying. He could be a novelist by how skillfully he was fabricating a fantasy.
"Do you know how many players are in the game?" Xin continued. "And you're telling me that at least none of them have the same class as me?"
Flux and Ragnar stole glances at each other. It seemed they were right with their hunch – Xin would deny everything.
