Chapter 10: The Shadow Monarch (Reboot)

I woke up feeling something soft on my lips, opening my eyes I saw Cassie kissing me and her naked body is on top of me.

"Good morning sleepyhead."she said while kissing me.

"Morning." This is life, waking up with a kiss from my lover.

"So, how was your trip to Magnolia, did you find someone new to form link with," she asked in a teasing tone.

"Nah, I mainly went to the trip to calm mom down after my little stunt to tease her, I mean how can she still beat me that badly when I'm clearly stronger than her" I still remember being beaten brutally by her for kissing her that day.

"No matter how much strong you are, she is the mother of a monarch, so she should have some privilege right." She said with a smile.

"Bullshit" was all I can say.

Then we both went to have a shower which lasted for 2 hours.

It has been a month after the incident with goblin.

After my power lift off, He goes to vegetative state and oscorp Industries has been shut down because a small tip from someone (Me) went to the government that they are doing illegal business with irregulars and showed some proof that the industry has some dealings with Green Goblin, so after full investigation they found the gadgets of Green Goblin, which resulted in the permanent shut down of the company.

Some Irregulars may have the power to influence the government but the same can't be said to the green bastard, everyone hated him to the core. So, shutting the company down is agreed by everyone.

So, officially the roots of Green Goblin is wiped from the face of Terra. Case closed.

After having breakfast Cassie went to work, ohh I forgot to mention that Cassie moved into my house a few days back. She agreed immediately before I can complete my sentence of her moving into my house.

Sue is currently staying having some mission with her team in other part of the city. After she returns I'll ask her to move into my house.

"You're going on a trip to Korea right,"I asked my sister who is putting on her shoes to go the academy. Earlier she said they are going to some field trip in korea.

"Yes we're going this weekend, it's a 10 day trip, anyway bye." With that she left for the academy. After that I got ready to go to H.A.

I came to my desk and saw a mountain of files in my desk.

"...."

"What the hell is this shit," I asked and turned to see Emma sipping her team peacefully.

"We are already understaffed, but you seem to assign our team members to other tasks, which leaves only the two of us. Since I'm injured a while ago, Vice-president asked me to hand over all the paper work to you who seems to be having quite a free time to spare, and before you use your powers, she pointed that using your powers on those papers to complete the work is forbidden."that smirk on her face when she said the words tells the real story.

This is their revenge on me.

Both my mother and emma is taking revenge on from the past month like this. Mom is mad because of the kiss, while emma who finds it satisfying to seeing me suffer. Both formed an alliance to make me suffer and done many times which annoyed me.

"But you recovered the next morning, I'm the one who healed you and I know you're condition better than anyone in this world, so stop with this bullshit." I shouted at her clearly annoyed by seeing this files.

"Ohhh...my head hurts...I think I need to go to the medical room, and also Mrs.Tara told me to inform you that you have to complete the paper work by the end of the day, ohhh..my head." She said while acting like she had some headache and left the room.

But she's not wrong, I did send some of my team members for investigation and it is productive so I have no complaints.

About a month ago, I got the news from wanda that Izuku received his powers.

Wanda maximoff, the scarlet witch, is my team mate. As her counter part from Marvel, she is linked to Chaos magic.

She is my friend and we've know eachother since childhood. She planned to return here since her work is done.

Moving on, I went to Japan a few months ago, because ten A rank gates suddenly broke at the same time japan hunters became quite busy at that time.

Even though All might is there, he can't save everyone, He has to fight the monsters from gates and helps in evacuation of people.

Many were injured and it was a mess. So, many volunteered to go there to help them and I was one of them.

I still believe it is odd that ten gates broke at the same time. Someone must be manipulating them but the question is who. It is still a mystery to solve.

After the situation went down, I stayed there for a few days and even participated in announcement for the entrence exam in selecting new students for hunter academy.

I met bakugo there whom I teached a lesson for saying that he'll defeat me in the future and go after sue.

I also met Izuku, he didn't have the meta abilities at that time but still want to be a hunter.

So, I put wanda and some guys with whom I trust to monitor him, and just like in the anime he received OFA and joined the academy.

Ring...ring...

My thoughts are interrupted by the phone ring.

"Hello... who's this," seeing the unknown number in my phone I asked after answering it.

"The correct question to ask is who are you and why did you put a team to monitor me and my family." I heard a deep voice from the phone.

"What are you.." I'm interrupted from the voice I heard from the phone.

"I'm sorry sir, we have failed."

"Nat.." I immediately become tense. Because I know the situation now.

"I guess now you understand what I'm talking about, so how about we skip this and get to the main point. Who are you and why did you put a team to monitor me and my family." I heard the deep voice again.

"I'm Mark Anderson, Head of the monitoring division from H.A in Star City, We will talk about this face to face, I'll come to Korea this weekend. Please remember that we mean no harm to you or to your family, Mr.Sung."

"I already know you mean no harm which is the reason why these guys are still alive, I'm looking forward to this meeting, you better have a good explanation for doing this."with that the call ended.

"Damn....I underestimated him...but it is to be expected from the future shadow monarch." I signed.

After my meeting with Gunhee and jin-chul, I've sent natasha who is under me to go to Korea for monitoring Sung Jin woo and his family.

But it seems he already became the successor of ashborn and he neutralized Nat for monitoring him.

'Great...this will be a headache to me...sign...' I signed rubbing my templates.

After that I sat in my desk, my view was blocked with the files in the desk.
