chapter 27: Hilltop

After Daniel got into the company he used his eye to trace those that came to work that day and he couldn't find Luningning among them. One of the supervisors saw how Daniel was standing and looking around while others were working.

"Hey, you! join your colleagues or are you here just to look around? maybe you're tired of your work I guess!"

"Aah, sorry sir." Daniel rushed and joined his colleagues then he moved closer to someone and asked if Luningning came to work.

The person said no because he heard that Luningning had resigned. Daniel asked why he resigned? The person told Daniel that he did not have any idea.

"Thank you" Daniel makes an unreal smile and excuses himself to one side then makes a call.

He called Tristan and told him about Luningning's resignation, Tristan asked if Daniel knew why or maybe he was sacked. But Daniel explained to Tristan that nobody knows why he left.
