Her mind started to work in strange angles as a smirk graced her face. "Olivia..." Reginald spoke in a tired voice. This was not what he wanted from the beginning. He wanted them to solve things and now they were heading back to square one. "Don't mention my name in that manner." She slammed her eyes shut for a second before opening them. This was because she started to feel confused. "Olivia!" Reginald called out again, this time with great force that said he wanted her to focus on what they were talking about. "Please don't β€”" "Tell me what I did." "You're in love with another woman! I caught you hugging her in that room, Reginald!"

The Witch

'How did that happen??' Olivia questioned in her thoughts while her expression turned dark. She failed to give the woman who kept questioning her maid attention.

Instead, she walked toward Antonia and grabbed her wrist, her eyes filled with murderous intent.

What she never knew was that the two women misunderstood her actions.

The seamstress jumped in shock because it looked as though Olivia appeared from nowhere.

"Who did this?" Her voice made their spines transform into a glacier. They sensed a storm brewing in her gray eyes.

"You... How could you ask who did this!? We know very well it's you! Stop acting like you have no idea of how she was inflicted –" She trailed as she noticed the way the Princess sent a merciless gaze her direction. But she wasn't going to give up on prying answers from Antonia.

"Shut that mouth." Olivia's eyes twinkled with an intensity that could cause a tornado storm. She was afraid if that woman kept speaking she would do something dangerous.

"She wasn't the one who did this..." Tonia stuttered, trying to justify Olivia's actions before the seamstress. She was afraid of a terrible rumors spreading because of today's event.

Princess Olivia wasn't helping matters too. Her current attitude was different from the way she expected.

"Who. Did?" It was a slow question, and the weight it placed was enough to tell them that she was slowly losing her patience.

"I'm sorry." Antonia bowed her head and fell on her knees, leaving both Olivia and the seamstress surprised.

Princess Olivia raised a brow as she watched her maid fall into a mess. She didn't say a word, but the hurt was evident in her eyes as she never moved them from Antonia.

"I knew it! You were involved with treating her that way. So, it's true indeed! No wonder you were thrown into the Hayes'..."

"Anything you say... Might lead to your downfall..." She lifted her eyes to meet the ignorant blue eyes that belonged to the seamstress.

"I'd be careful with my lips, if I were you." A ghost-like smirk crawled on her face sending ripples of chills down her spine. Casting her gaze to Antonia, she snorted. "Don't show your face before me, again."

With that, she swished past them leaving both of them speechless. The seamstress' mouth was hanging open because Olivia never showed an intention of violence.

She seemed quite normal and withdrawn than they thought of her to be.

"You should have just shut up." Antonia sent the woman angry look while her eyes started to fill with tears.

"Why should I? Didn't she do–"

"My lady wouldn't entertain my presence thanks to you. You keep running your mouth like you know it all. Thanks for ruining a perfect relationship!" Antonia never cared if she would be reported on her way of speaking to this woman.

She preferred being beaten by those ladies, than to be away from Olivia. She grew so attached to the Princess in the span of weeks.

She wasn't supposed to blame the Seamstress but herself, but she wanted to vent out her anger.

Antonia pulled herself up from the heap of mess she was, and walked out of the seamstress. The woman's reaction was however innocent.

"I ruined a relationship??"

"Finally, you made it. What took you so long? You know how well I've got connections and how impatient I am don't you?" The coquettish voice questioned the cloaked figure who bowed her head in submission.

"I apologize for my lateness, Your Grace. I was almost apprehended by your son on my way." She fell on one knee and clenched her fist, placing it above her left chest.

"There's no problem with that. With your skills, I know he wouldn't catch you. Besides, you're a very special one, don't you think so, Madeline?"

Adele sent her cousin an inquiring look that demanded she must answer her question immediately.

"You're making a terrible mistake using my spy as your instrument to solve your problems." The blonde lady stated with a frown on her face. She did not seem happy with the idea of her eldest cousin using the person she hired.

It was an effort getting that woman to finally bow for her, and now Adele wanted to involve her in her destructive plans.

"Oh..." Adele chuckled with grace as she threw her head backward. Her hair which was held up in a graceful style fluttered a little with the accessories stuck on it.

"Sister! You need not worry about her. She's belongs to them, as such she has the skills even the family she works for never knew." A cunning smirk appeared on her face as she stared at the cloaked woman who didn't want to reveal her face.

"Getting a witch has been the most difficult thing one has to do. A splendid job you did there." Adele tried to shower her cousin some praises, knowing fully well that Madeline would melt after she commended her for what she did.

She studied her cousin so well that she managed to hit her good spot.

"Whatever." Madeline huffed and flipped her hair that had been let to cascade down her shoulder to the back.

"What's her name?" Adele raised a brow as she stared at the witch. The woman never responded knowing well she was supposed to.

Her silence was getting on the Consort's nerve, but since she was working for her she wanted to be polite.

"She doesn't like her name being revealed. It's a witching thing." Madeline rolled her eyes wondering why the witch didn't dare expose her name or that of her sister's.

All she knew was the girl worked in the Hayes' mansion. She found out she had magical abilities the first time she stepped into the mansion, and threatened to expose her identity.

The Witch never did a thing to beg Madeline but, when the lady threatened her by mentioning her sister, she had to succumb.

Since she was always sent on missions by the Wilson cousins, her presence was rarely noticed in the mansion.

"Still, I can feel her penetrating gaze from the cloak. Her looks alone can render me choking to death."

Adele's lips curved as she noticed a change in the Witch's posture.
