17 Madman (2)

Most of them were hoping that the driver was a fat and bald man who was trying to compensate for his average looks with an expensive car. However, their prayers were crushed as they saw a long leg that stepped out of the car.

Most of them then thought that the driver must be very ugly even though he had long legs. What was the use of having a good height if their appearance was worse than a gorilla? However, they could only turn green from envy as the man who stepped out of the car was truly handsome.

Although his face looked mad and his piercing eyes looked as if he wanted to kill someone. One could tell that when God gave people his blessing for a person's appearance. The said man caught all of the good qualities and planted everything in his body. They can only shake their heads in dismay as they saw the man walk away and headed for the research facility as though he was familiar. His long strides with his long legs made him look like he was running even though he was only walking.

"Sigh, some people just seem to have everything." One man could not help but exclaim as he could not take it anymore.

But who can he curse?

Who can he blame?

Was it his parents?

Or was it God?

The man just walks away with his head hung low as he wondered how it would have felt if he had everything like the man who stepped into the building. How it felt that he would be able to get every girl he wanted with that kind of face and body. If he had the same wealth as that man he wondered what the first thing he would buy. Would he also buy an expensive car like that man?

He thought about it and said, "I'll buy a sports car like a Lamborghini. That looks very expensive and eye-catching." He laughed at himself as he was having his own delusions.

However, he was not the only one. The people who saw the man parking had the same thoughts. Everyone wanted to imagine themselves in the position of the man if they were male while the women imagined themselves as having a perfect partner like the said man.

Connor, on the other hand, did not mind the gazes of the people around him as he continued to walk pass by them. He knew where he was going as this was not his first visit. He was familiar with this place as his good friend worked here.

He scoffed at the thought of Timothy of being his friend. A friend would never do such a despicable thing. He trusted him and they had an agreement.

Timothy did not stay true to their agreement.

It was something he could not digest as he himself gave up everything for Anne so she could be happy.

He clenched his fist as he continued to climb the stairs as he did not want to take the elevator.

He did not want to wait nor see other people as he waits for it to arrive at the right floor.

His steps were fast and his motivation was something every man would have experienced once in their life if they truly loved someone with every fiber their being.

Jealousy?

Agony?

Betrayal?
