Jerry's Pov

I watched as Mr Bruttes left and then I advanced towards her, just when I had almost gotten to her she turned around in a swift and almost bumped into me but I was quick to step back.

Her cheeks turned red and her face fluttered with embarrassment, just when I saw her lips attempting to move I said immediately.

"Can I have a word?" I said in the best repulsive tone I could garner, her face dropped and her lips clamped shut. She raised her chin to look at me and our eyes locked. I don't know how long we might have stared at each other but between those soft pairs of eyes fighting every ounce of tear from invading her cheeks was the strong woman I fell in love with staring back at me with great multitude.

"Sure." She muttered and brushed past me, heading to the garden while I followed suit.
