What would you do if you were forced into marriage? Amelia chose the least sane option and ran away from home. “Getting married before 25 is like leaving a party at 8pm, NOT FUN, take it from me.”- Amelia the “wise” person. Amelia Smith, heiress of the Smith family, daughter of the CEO of Oasis and granddaughter to the Chairman of the largest jewellery company in the country, had to marry some dude she never met. The “dude” whom she had to marry was Jason Wilson, a very famous actor with the prestigious title “Movie King”, the second son of the Wilson family. “Can you guys believe that he literally begged to marry me?”- Amelia Author: I can’t, and you are literally my creation. Amelia: “And because of that, I’m being forced to marry him! I know I’m pretty and that many people want to marry me, but what I want is to find my own true love!” Author: Tone it down, you’re being cringy. Amelia: -_- “Okay, so you ran away. How’s that going on for you?” you may ask. Amelia: In a very weird- Author: But completely believable way! Amelia: LET ME SPEAK! Ahem, where was I? Oh right! I ended up working for my “fiance’s” brother. -_-||| *Scene* “Wait! You’re the CEO of this company?!” Amelia almost shouted. “Yes, Ms Luna Brown, I am the CEO of this company. And from now onwards, you are my servant” *cue an evil smirk followed by malicious laughter* Chris Wilson, the heir of the Wilson family, is the type to hold grudges, poor Amelia should not have offended him, especially since he is her boss. “I think you meant ‘secretary’, I am not your servant” Amelia (fake name- Luna Brown) nervously laughed. "…..same difference.” Chris Wilson said with a straight face. *cut* No big misunderstandings (I noticed the irony in the title, what I meant is that the misunderstanding won’t make you all frustrated), no snake like step-mothers or step-sisters. A slow romance between the protagonists, and there is no extreme OPness, so the characters are believable. Sorry, but no smutty or steamy scenes. This is a clean, slow romance and comedy novel :)

Introduction

HI! I'm CinnamonRoll and I'm the author of this story. This is the first time I uploaded a story online, I love to write but until now I just wrote for myself. With a lot of courage and support from my parents and friends, I decided to share my work with you all :) Do note that I'm only a college student and this is my very first work, I'm open to criticisms but no hate please.

MAIN CHARACTERS:

Amelia Smith- The protagonist, finds herself in one of a kind situations, she's fun and full of life, she is a strong female lead with flaws- to make her realistic, wants to become the CEO of her family's company just like her father did. Nickname: Lia Pseudonym: Luna Brown

Lisa Brooke- Amelia's one and only BFF, aspiring fashion designer, a very straightforward person who does not like beating around the bush, she has scars of her own from her past but that does not make her some sad or skeptical person. She lives life like she wants to.

Chris Wilson- Your typical cold and emotionless CEO but weirder, yes he is a genius but his EQ is lower than ever, don't assume him to be like every ML you have because he is not like that at all. Yes, he is egoistic and the whole deal, but if he were to fall in love, he'll cherish that person forever since he is not close to people as much as a normal person would be.

Jason Wilson- Being the younger brother of Chris, people might just assume he is just like his brother but NO, he is much more human, take it from me. He started acting since he was a little boy, and now he earned the title "Movie King". Lemme just say, this boi is very flirty and someone who has a passion for romance.

SETTING: This is set in a fictional world so I did not name the cities or countries exactly, I figured that by doing so my story is much more neutral. And I don't think I gave much specifications to the characters' appearances so you guys can assume any race, ethnicity etc you want, imagine them how you want them to look like.

Update frequency- I'm not really sure, maybe daily one chapter or on alternative days. I'm a student so I have many things going on, writing is something close to my heart so I won't give up on it no matter what.

Finally, if there are grammatical or spelling errors- just ignore them as much as possible but if it's too bad an error, point it out so I can correct myself.
