Chapter five

Mori was lying down on the ground looking at the night sky he then sighed thinking to himself "I hope I had made the right choice by leaving my tribe to join in Ranko's quest, but then again, I know I'm not the only one that likes Ranko"

Ranko was walking towards Mori then sat next to him looking at the night sky "there you are Mori" Mori then looks over her "You were looking for me?" Ranko nods "yeah I was, I was going to ask you if, well, had a type of girl you're interested in?"

Mori then jolts up, sitting down and slowly turns his head to Ranko turning red "you're asking me, this out the blue?" Ranko shrugs and hides her face be hide her long hair "Yes, Is that strange?"

Mori then pats his legs a bit" Well, no I'm just surprised you'd ask me that question" Ranko hen sighed and cross her arms "well are you going to answer my question?" Mori blushed then smiled at her "Well I guess she has to be sweet, caring and well, Long hair" Ranko then smiled then blushed Well, that's all mori thank you"

Suddenly Eskai walts to them "Hey what are you guys doing alone" Ranko and mori turns red as Eskai crossed his arms, Ace then howled "did you guy's elope?" Eskai glared at ace as Silver puts his head on his face "Wow, ace you say the most embarrassing things" Ranko turns red as she got up from the ground she then sighed,

as Mori got up with her looking at Eskai thinking to himself "Did Eskai just get jealous?" Silver looks at Ranko" Anyways Ranko, I need to talk with you, in private" Ranko then looks at silver as Eskai then sneers at silver, then Damon walks to them pulling Eskai and Mori "You two come with me I need a word with you guys" Ace then sighed and followed them "I'm tagging along" Ranko then sighed and calms herself down from embarrassing thing that ace said "Okay silver what did you want to talk about?"

Silver then sighed crossing his arms "Well It's a special ability that I was going to show you early when we ended up hearing your thoughts" Ranko nods "oh right well let's get busy"

Later

Damon was cooking some fish over the fire as he did, he seen Eskai shrug and looks over at ace "So ace do you know why silver is taking so long with Ranko?" Ace then sips his tea "nope but I'm assuming that he is probably training her" Mori looks over them while Damon got the fish out the fire "Well foods done they should be back it's been like two hours since we left them at the field" Eskai sighed then lean against his brother "that's so long" Damon then looks over at his little brother giving him a plate "well that's the longest you've been away from Ranko eh?" Mori and ace then look at them "Really?" Eskai took then plate his brother gave him and looks over at mori and ace "Well since childhood, we never separate" Damon sighed" it was a pain in the ass, me and Alastair had to take turns traveling to our villages just so these guys can see each other"

Mori then nods as ace looks at them "Was Ranko and Eskai going to get married if they are that close, I wonder?" Ace thought to himself

Silver then walts to them" Hey Guys the training was a success" Ranko then walks toward them to sit with Eskai and Mori "I didn't think that would be hard" Eskai and mori look at Ranko's arms and legs" Mori then shrugs" you should clean your cuts Ranko otherwise you'll get scars"

Eskai passes his bag at her "Look in there there's some ointment and bandages also liquor, for the wounds" Ranko then looks in the bag getting some thing's for her wounds "Thanks Eskai" she smiled at him as Eskai smiled back the guys look at them,

Damon then sighed "When should we start going to beaver tribe area?" Ranko then looks at him "um, well how about we leave as soon as I'm done" Ace then sighed crossing his arms "Can't we make camp or something?" Ranko then puts the things in the bag "We can't rest at the moment, since we are being followed" Mori then looks at her "who would follow us?" Damon then think's "maybe Alastair" As Vash then looks over them as Eskai then got up "Probably Gabriel and Alastair" Vash then sighed "So Ranko will it look really bad if they see me?" Eskai cross his arms and glance at Vash "Of course it would, but lucky for you, Ranko had a soft spot for you" Ranko then had a little sneer at him then sighed looking away "What should I do, If Alastair comes here?, I would be in much more of a bad spot if he sees Vash and the rest of these other guys following me around" Vash got up and looks at Ranko "hey Ranko I'll look around the area while you guy's move on a head, that way, your brother won't see me and neither of you guys will be in trouble" Ranko then nods to him "Okay thank you Vash we will see you soon then"

After everyone got ready to leave sikachi village, Ranko then waved at her new Friend Vash hart, Ranko and her friends started their new journey heading to the beaver tribe village.

Damon was walking beside Ranko looking at her deep long dark brown hair, he then sighed "Ranko you should let me do your hair one of these day's" Ranko looks at Damon "I remember that you use to do my hair, all the time when I was younger" Damon then smiled at her "so how about it let me do your hair sometime?" Ranko smiled at him "yeah sure thing Damon" Eskai then caught up with them Looking at Ranko "What if the beaver tribe is still alive?" Mori then looks at them as Ranko gave a troubled look "well I wouldn't be too sure if they got into a war with the Veil clan, due to my mother and fathers love affair"

Ace then glance at Ranko thinking to himself "so that's what happened?" Damon then looks at her "What do you mean?" Ranko then sighed "Well I only know that my parents gave me to my adopted father slash grandpa when I was a new born"

Silver then cross his arms looking at the sky "it's going to rain tomorrow" Ace smells the air then sighed "well that's no good"

Mori then looks at Ranko then Ranko looks over them "on the next check point we can make camp" Eskai smiled "finally I can sleep and re-energize" Damon laughs as he stares at Ranko "it's a good thing Alastair doesn't know I have feeling for her otherwise he'd kick my ass, poor guy thought I was gay"

LATER

Vash was slowly walking around sikachi village inside the archive building as he did, he went straight towards the table where he had sat down, Vash glances at the books and moved a couple of them finding the book he needed "their it is, now I can see if it's possible to find the scrolls that can help me free my family from this curse that the Veil clan had put on us, to think that I was about to even help Ranko find her clan and her tribe"

Vash then picks up a book, and finds a paper he then reads it to himself "in order to lift a curse, you will need a drop of your blood to enter their mouth, but in return you drink their blood"

Alastair then glares at him "what are you doing here!" Vash jolts up then turns to him dropping the book "what the hell is wrong with you, you scared me half to death!"

Gabriel then sneered at him "never mind about that, did you see a pretty girl hanging out with a bunch of boys?" Vash then shrugs "yes I have they left from here about two three hours ago when I was here"

Alastair then sighed looking over at Gabriel "like I said, Cloudstone, Ranko likes to make trips fast and simple, once her deeds are done, she will be on her own"

Gabriel then nods "but, what if these guys don't come back at all, knowing that she is half veil clan, she does have that sex appeal that was one of the veils traits anyways to get their ways"

Alastair then puts his hand on his face "boy, you really had to bring that up, in a time like this" Gabriel chuckles as he looks at him "well you know it's true"

Vash then looks at them puzzled "so what did you need that beautiful flower Ranko for?" Alastair then crossed his arms looking at Vash "Watch your tongue Vash, call my sister by her name" Gabriel shrugs as Vash then sighed "I was only being honest, she is beautiful"

Alastair then walks out the building "I'm not looking for my sister, I'm looking for Mori, Eskai, Silver and ace" Vash nods and looks at him "what about that guy with dark pink hair?"

Gabriel then sneers at him "His name is Damon glass; however, he cannot come back to his tribe he had broken one of the main laws on his side of the tribe" Alastair then looks over at Gabriel "let's go Gabriel we are wasting time" Gabriel then shrugs following Alastair "okay"

Vash then sighed and sat down thinking to himself "Maybe I should just help out Ranko a bit longer, that way I can do what I have too, since she won't be at use for anyone at this time" As Vash picks up the book looking at it once more "now the scrolls are." Vash then widens his eye's" That can't be! I have to hurry and find Ranko and those horn dogs"

Vash then uses his special ability to run fast into the forest, as he did, he thought to himself "I can't believe that they are going to a curse island that was once known as Beaver Island, more like forgotten island"

Mean while

Alastair then looks at Gabriel and scoffs "Look I'm just following orders from the Leader of the glass tribe since, he happen to be a long distant relative of mine" Gabriel then crossed his arms "Well we got this far, it shouldn't be long now till we find my brother and your sister and the other guys"

Alastair then looks over him "Why do you think my sister will come back? You made me cast her out my tribe" Gabriel then looks at him "right I forgot" Alastair then glares at him "are you just rubbing it in?" Gabriel then sighed "Not really, but it will be safer for her to be out and about, before this war starts when these guy's begin to start taking over our lands, it won't be long now"

Alastair then looks to his right seeing Vash past him, before Vash past them he then stops looking at them stunned "That place that Ranko wanted to go to is cursed we have to go stop them before it's too late"

Gabriel widens his eyes "crap, we can't afford to lose are best warriors!" Alastair then starts to run up a head "Hurry up let's go, now!"

"Later on, at the resting point up a head"

Ranko was lying on the ground looking at the night clouds roll by as Mori was sharpening his blades, he looks over at Ranko with a slight blush "um Ranko, I've been meaning to ask you what type of guy are you into?"

Ranko got up looking at him then looks over to the others, noticing that they were sleeping then blushed looking away from Mori getting up walking towards Mori "Well. I"

Mori then got up and moves a bit closer to her sort of blushing as Ranko shyly looks at him "my type for person I like would. I mean their personality I would like them to be, Nice caring, and we can talk about anything and be sarcastic sometimes and can be shy sometimes and takes their time with me"

Ranko turns red as Mori move's closer to her, but as he did, he slips on a moist stump and fell on top on her, his face was near her breast as Ranko turn even red and gave a shock look at Mori whispering "Mori you're moving too fast for me" Mori turns red and faints on top of her, Ranko then raised her voice a bit "Mori!"

Alastair Gabriel and Vash stood their looking at Ranko and mori,

As Ranko was trying to wake up mori "Mori get up, I'm not going to hear the end of it if someone see's us like this"

Gabriel glances at them as he walk's towards them, Gabriel then grab's Mori by the collar of his shirt "quit messing around, and wake up!" Ranko was fluster getting up and looking away thinking to herself "Crap what do I say, I think Mori just slipped on that stump that Eskai spilt his water on, to shut the fire off"

Ace then got up looking at them "Mori slipped on that stump and fell on top of Ranko, but glad he isn't hurt he had a soft land on Ranko's bosoms" Ranko turns even redder,

as Mori then wakes up and looks around then looks at Gabriel "When did you get here?" Gabriel then sighed "don't worry Mori, next time be more careful" Alastair then glance at Ranko, as she had sneered at him then looks away "So what are you guys doing here?"

Vash then looks at Ranko "I went back to the archive build, since we rushed out, I found something about that place you are trying to get to, look read this paper I had found" Ranko then grabs the paper and reads over it "hm…Well I'm still going to that island" Alastair then crossed his arms glaring at her "What are you trying to prove? Its suicide what you are doing"

Ranko sighed then looks over him upset "That's not what I meant, I'm not going to the island anyways just to take a peek around the area, after the island was curse the beaver tribe moved to a different area near a bay called thunder hills" Gabriel then glance at Ranko "How the hell would you know all this!" Damon woke up turn over towards them "oh my drama queens Alastair and Gabriel" Damon thought to himself

as Ranko sighed "My grandfather had given me my mother and my dad's maps so I can find the information and, I can find the place I want to search" Ace then cross his arms "can I ask what you two are doing here?" Damon got up to look at them as Alastair then looks at them "Our tribes need you to come back home there is a war happening and we need the four of you" Ace then looks at him puzzled as Mori then crossed his arms "the four of us?" Gabriel then sighed "Mori, Eskai, Ace and silver, your expertise are needed to protect our lands from being taking over"

Ace then shrugs "why the four of us only? What about Damon?" Alastair then looks at him "He is an outcast like Ranko" Ranko then glared at Alastair "What is with you Alastair?" Alastair then grinds his teeth just go on your little adventure since that's what you care about the most"

Damon then stood beside Ranko then put's his hand on her shoulder "don't listen to what this so-called brother has to say to you, Ranko we made it this far let's start heading up north," Ranko looks at Damon then turns away from them "Fine by me," Mori then looks at them and looks over his brother "A war?" Alastair then sat down "Yes your brother will explain to you, but however I need to talk with you privately back at the village Mori"

After Ranko and Damon left Vash looks over at Alastair and Gabriel as he followed them "Guess it's just the three of us now" Vash thought to himself"

Ranko then stop's them looks at Mori blushing "We almost kissed" She thought to herself then continued to walk as she did, Mori suddenly pulled Ranko's hand and Kisses her lips gently "I'll see you after this war is over and done with Ranko" Ranko then had gave him a shock look as Alastair then yells "Mori Cloudstone get your ass over here now"

Ranko then smiled and blushes as Damon and Vash grabs on to Ranko's hand "Your brother sounds, mad! let's go!" they both said as Ranko followed them and disappeared into the forest.

One week later

Back at the village
