Author's Note

I started writing this on impulse when I saw Writing Prompt Contest #59 and the idea popped into my head. I appreciate you all reading it and voting for it, and would like to apologise. For the past week or so, I've been thinking about ways to make writing "Miss Idol, I Love You" either something I enjoy, or something I can finish to not disappoint people. Taking on a genre I have no personal interest in was definitely a bad choice, but it seemed fun at the time to experiment with something new. Sadly, I don't think there's any way for me to keep writing it without greatly shortening the original story, which would ruin the story just as much as me continuing to write it normally while not being interested in it. Even if I were to shorten it greatly, there would still be several hundred-thousand words left to finish the story properly and without changing the plot completely so it can end faster. I really tried, and even wrote a ton of chapters past the last released one over the course of the last week, but none of them feel enjoyable to read or like something I can be proud of, and writing another couple hundred chapters like that feels like a disappointment to myself and you all.

Sorry for having to drop it, but I would rather leave you all with an unfinished story up to the point I maintained interest than release boring chapters that are far from my best work that you have to suffer through reading just to finish the story.
