134 You chose a man like him

"My lady." The maid wraps the warm jacket on the woman dressed in purple robes. "You will catch a cold."

"Will I?" Rue-Yim is anything but touched by the maid's gesture. How did she become a noblewoman? On top of it, she is stuck inside some noble's house. She isn't allowed to leave the vicinity. That's the least of her problems. Somehow, she has no memories of the host. "But the weather is rather warm today."

"My lady, you are sensitive to the cold." 

Rue-Yim doesn't even know the maid's name. She can't care less about who the maid is. All she knows is that the host is a captive of this house. Who is the owner and why is she being held here like a prisoner? She lets out a heavy sigh.

The woman has everything: nice clothes, pieces of jewellery, and everything else a vain woman can ask to satisfy her vanity. Except for freedom, she has everything.
