Chapter 12 - Last preparation & Cult gets crazier

The next day we were visited by an arrogant lizardman who goes by the name Gabiru he was proud of the name he got and was extremely narcissistic.

He wanted us to surrender and become his servants while saying how we pitiful creatures are weak and need protection that's why the great Gabiru will grant us protection in exchange for being his servants while not forgetting to say how the person that named him is a great lord named Gelmud that will of course let us join him.

We of course didn't agree which angered him but the aura that Shion leaked towards him for disrespecting her lord made him not attack so he retreated while saying how we would regret not taking such a great offer.

That's how Rimuru got the idea to go to Lizardmen to ask them for an alliance so the chances of winning against the orcs are higher he sent Souei with Ranga inside his shadow as he is the fastest and strong enough to not get hurt.

That all happened while I was happily eating my meal at home now that I finished I went outside and started lazying around.

No one bothered me until I felt the skill that I gave the cult activate the request was like that.

"O supreme one I sacrifice these 10000 human souls to you in the hope that you would answer my request that I have been searching my whole life."

He spoke like a person who was obsessed with something but couldn't get it but now found the hope to succeed in getting the thing

"Ask"

I said in language that didn't sound like anything you would ever hear. It would normally kill any mortal that heard it but I let him hear the spoken words that are still perfectly understood by anyone or anything.

"The thing that I spent my whole life in search of is the answer to one question the question goes like this 'Is the world we are in true because it is said that a god created it so the god had to be from somewhere as from nothing shouldn't exist something he cannot be born from nothing are we just a plaything that god created?' that's my question."

He asked me a stupid or more likely weird question but I decided to answer the question to the poor soul.

"The world you are living in is real and you are wrong as things can exist from nothing the god that created this world was born from leftover energies of more powerful beings and to say you are playthings for him is in some way true as he created your world because he was bored being alone."

As I answered I severed the connection as I did not want to hear anything more from him now that I finished I wasn't in the mood to lay and be lazy so I got up and started teaching others some things.

(Third person POV)

At the cult base where most of the members gather we can see many people with cat masks around the big sacrificial altar that is colored in red with many human bodies lying down.

"I got the answers from our lord!!"

One of the masked individuals shouted happily after which the others followed suit and after happy shouting for a while people calmed down as they didn't get the information on what the answer was.

"Say them we need to make sure they are remembered so we will write them down."

Said another with a tail on his back and a rough voice.

"Yes, we need to make records of any time our lord spoke to us."

Added another one with a bigger chest clearly female.

"Now fast tell us!"

Shouted a childish voice.

"So our lord said that the god that other people are worshipping is born from leftover energies a powerful entity left it means he must be even stronger than these entities he must be the god of gods to know that. He also said things can be created from nothing our lord must be able to do it. 

The people in masks started writing the things he said in big scrolls they prepared for the words that the lord would say to them as they were writing their eyes full of worship.

"Our lord is the greatest we need to show it to others and make sure that there are no other fake gods only our lord deserves to be one."

Said the child who previously shouted.

"Yeah!! we will show them."

And the lord Katharos unaware or just not wanting to know what they are doing or planning to do is peacefully going around the Village teaching people and preparing them for a fight with Orcs.

A/N: Yes we are finally getting close to the fight with orcs and his cult will be planning on eliminating other gods such as luminous, True dragons but they will be found out by their lord and to know what will happen you need to read the later story
