4. Welcome to Empire School

The next morning, Shiro woke up feeling somehow even more tired than day before. He even let himself think it could be because of the intense conversation with the leader of this Empire. He didn't knew. But he didn't let himself think about this much. He had to get up, and get ready, as he believed today is probably the day he be starting his new school at the Empire Academy. But he personally didn't like the idea of starting any sort of school, whenever its a normal one, or one at any army places, neither ideas sounded good. He didn't want to be around people. Even more people his age. Just the idea of it made him bothersome. Not like he will be making any friends anyway. And considering how he will be acting around them, they most likely won't like him anyway, as he be too different, especially as being someone not remembering much which will cause him not to be able to join any conversations, and he would be standing out too much from everyone else. Shiro signed. He didn't knew what to think right now, but he just pushed all the bad feelings and thoughts away, and continued to get ready. He just hoped for this to not go bad at all.

15 minutes later.

Shiro was finally ready. He had the Imperial Military forces clothing on, ate some food, and really just thought about how the day will go. The Military uniform he was wearing was actually different then what he was wearing yesterday. This one was white, and in different patterns. But Shiro thought its probably since he is counted more as student then as someone in army. What he had for breakfast was actually prepared by the people part of a different army, who seemed to be connected to this one. They made Shiro some curry, sushi, even ramen, and a lot of more food. Some even felt like he was eating first time, but that was some quality food for sure. But when those was ready, Shiro was waiting now only for someone to pick him up, or at least to tell him if he should go school now, as he wasn't given much information the other day. He waited another 5 minutes, and soon enough Kenshi came in for Shiro.

"Looks like you are ready. Let's go." Kenshi said very quickly.

Shiro followed Kenshi out of the room and down the long hall again, walking from one place to another before they finally reached the school. Shiro the entire time felt both exited but worried at the same time. Exited to do something new, but worried it won't be for him. As he didn't really want to be in school anyways, he just wished he could skip it and avoid it. And join the Army fully without the need to stay in education. This was such a bother and drag.

"Why do I need to go school?" He asked the question in somehow disappointing voice.

"Well. At least another 3 years. But it's all really depending on how well you will learn."

The last part of the answer made Shiro wonder something.

"If I learn every well there is chance I can finish school even in a year?"

Kenshi stopped walking when they get to school. And looked down on Shiro, one way mad, but other way admiring the boy.

"You have lots of guts, you know? But potentially yes."

Shiro got some what relief at this answer. All he had to do was work as hard as he could and everything would have been well and over with soon. He looked at the whole Empire School, and in a way he was shocked. Last time he came here he was watching school from afar so he didn't realized how large it actually was. And how scary it looked. It was almost like a haunted house in a way. But different. It was very strange to him. He gulped, but not in fear. But in even more excitement. He felt like this place could be fun, for the "short" time he be staying at.

"I take you to your class. Try not to screw up on first day." Kenshi said walking ahead inside the building and to the right room.

"You think this low of me already? Aye, just don't get disappointed man." Shiro said in confidence.

Kenshi just looked at Shiro and didn't said a word at all. Just chuckled and opened the door to the classroom. Shiro being all nervous, walked in with Kenshi. He looked at everyone inside. And immediately felt uncomfortable. He noticed how people were sitting in some sort of groups, and he could easily tell who were the bullies, the popular, ect. That I'm a way made him extremely disappointed as he hoped this be very different then any ordinary schools. But he did noticed an interesting difference between some of those people. As much as everyone had the same uniform, some people had a band on their arms. In different colours, lighting up, making it very visible. That irrigated Shiro a lot. He wanted to know what that was, and if there is a way to get something like this.

Kenshi was watching Shiro the entire time, and felt certain amusement from the boy. He knew the boy will be more fun then anyone other students in this school. And all he was really waiting for is the right time for Shiro to come out. He smiled, and then looked up to the teacher when coming to the class. He bows, and the teacher came to Kenshi, and they whispered something. Shiro wasn't focusing on it so he didn't heard a thing. When the two finished talking the teacher stood in front of the class, and asked everyone to get sited.

"Good evening class. Meet the new student, Shiro. Hope you all will make him feel welcome."

"Good morning sir! Nice to meet you Shiro." The whole class shouted back.

When everyone sat down, the teacher showed Shiro where he should sit down. Shiro made his way there, but he wasn't too happy with choose sit as he had to sit with someone. And he preferred to not be involved with anyone at all. Especially right now. When he was sad down, he noticed that Kenshi walked out of the class now, closing the door. Now the challenge begins.

To be continued.
