The Agreement...

Julia had beautiful eyes, thick and slender eyelashes, and the bottom of her eyes seemed to be hiding a spring shrouded in gentle light.

It made people want to see deeply into her eyes.

Ford's smile showed that this issue needed to be discussed later. The occasion was not right now.

Linda argued, "Mr. Ainsworth, I really don't know. Besides, Julia didn't get the short end of stick. She cursed me first. Can't you just let it go?"

"Shut up!" Bill hurriedly stopped her.

This woman was really stupid. She had no right to negotiate with Ford.

When Ford heard what she said, he laughed.

But the smile was cold and indifferent.

"So is that my wife's fault?" Ford looked at Julia and said, "She is quite ignorant."

What!

Linda breathed a sigh of relief. She though that the people from wealthy families were decent, so it was impossible for them to be too biased in their words and deeds.

And she did not get any advantage from Julia, so what else did she want from her?

"But..." Ford narrowed his eyes and said, "I'm a defensive person. No one has the right to guide my wife what she should do."

His tone was unusually aggressive, but it made Julia feel even more touching than any romantic words. It was like a spark that suddenly spread out in the middle of the night, making her dizzy and her heartbeat more quickly.

There was even a moment when she thought that she had taken the female lead script by mistake.

She pretended to be calm. She was extremely glad that she did not have a tail. Otherwise, her current thoughts would be exposed without a doubt and her tail would be raised to the sky.

Bill was panicking. He knew clearly what Ford meant.

If they didn't show some sincerity now, he wouldn't let them go.

"Mrs. Ainsworth I'm sorry. I'm really sorry for my wife's offense." As he said that, he pulled Linda over and pinched her wrist to make her apologize to Julia.

Linda was never treated like this, so she was naturally resistant.

Bill angrily said, "If they don't forgive you today, I will divorce you."

He really got tired of Linda. She didn't help him in his career at all. Instead, she kept bringing troubles for him.

Linda was sacred. Time was exceptionally tolerant towards men. Bill was five years younger than her. She was 39 and Bill was 34 years old, it was a good time for a men.

Even though she had been maintaining her face, she couldn't conceal the fact that she was getting old, and her face looked exceptionally stiff after several cosmetic surgeries.

Every time they had a quarrel, she would say she want a divorce. But she was sure that Bill would not leave her. However, his words made her panic. She would definitely not be able to find a better man than Bill.

Even if she didn't want to, she still lowered her head to admit her mistake, "Julia, I apologize to you for my improper words. I really didn't mean it. Please forgive me."

After saying that, Julia still didn't say anything. Linda bent her knees and was about to kneel down.

Julia turned around. She said indifferently, "I hope that you will be cautious in your words and deeds in the future and stop spreading rumors."

After this disturbance, Linda and Bill left. Gloria also pretended to be unwell. The host was not here, so the others had no mood to stay. They all left.

The huge room suddenly became deserted. Ana, who had been upstairs, came down and asked, "Julia, can you come up to see Mom? She's not in a good mood now."

Julia didn't know what else Gloria wanted to say to her.

When she was about to go upstairs, her wrist was held by a large hand. Ford put one hand in his pocket and held her by the other.

"Do you want me to go with you?"

"No!"

She pulled out her hand and took a steped back.

Ford frowned. This woman was really ungrateful. He looked down and his expression became even colder.

Julia didn't look at him. She quickly went upstairs.

Actually, it was her reaction to stress. She didn't want to be dramatic in front of the female lead.

The life motto of the supporting role—The couple were always flirting in the public. They would usually break up soon.

Inside the room, Gloria was lying on the bed, looking quite energetic. Seeing Julia entered she directly asked.

"What's going on between you and Ford?"

Julia answered carelessly "We are what you see." They were always like this.

"Have you forgotten that you had signed a confidentiality agreement?"

"So, what about it?"

Gloria coughed twice in an attempt to conceal her embarrassment, then she asked, "Do you remember the last term in the confidentiality agreement?"

"You should divorce if you don't get pregnant in two years. You know what kind of family the Ainsworth is. They are very eager to have a grandson as soon as possible."

Julia was puzzled. After Gloria's reminding, she remembered.

She was so delight that she didn't read the contents of the confidentiality agreement seriously. After signing it, one of the agreement was in the Ainsworth and the other was in Gloria's hands.

Even if she knew about this, she didn't care at all at that time. In her opinion, the child should be two years old now.

Gloria continued, "It will be exactly two years in January. It is no need to delay any longer. If you are agree to end it early, I can give you compensate."

Julia thought in her mind, 'There were only three months, why she couldn't wait?

She meditated for a while and then asked, "What kind of compensation?"

She thought that she could not give up easily both Ford and money. It was necessary to be pragmatic.

Gloria was not surprised as she coldly snorted, "Fifty million dollars."

If it was before, Julia would definitely be willing to accept it, but now… she felt that she was at a disadvantage.

She laughed, "Maybe I can get pregnant with three months of hard work."

Gloria's expression changed, "What do you mean?"

"I mean that if I had a child, my status would have doubled."

Gloria sneered and said with disdain, "You've forgotten a lot about the agreement."

Oh.

"There is another clause in the agreement that if you can't get pregnant for two years, you have to leave with nothing."

Julia though that's why she was so miserable. How could she signed such an unscrupulous agreement without reading it.

She really underestimated Gloria.

If she hadn't tested her DNA, she felt that she might be the child of Gloria's enemy.

Otherwise, why would a mother spare no effort to ruined her daughter's life?
