Ford Is A Little Pitiful...

It was time to settle scores at an opportune moment.

Julia tried her best to recall if she had said anything. She couldn't bear to look straight at the video, so she didn't see the total content.

Ford casually pulled the edge of the chair and circled it. He bent down slightly and leaned closer, appearing in Julia's vision, blocking out half of the sky's light.

His hands rested on the armrest.

The distance between the two was so close. He could touch her face just one more knuckle away.

The man's black eyelids were clear, and the faint mole at the corner of his eyes carried a strange taste.

Julia slightly opened her lips and forgot to react.

His long and narrow eyes narrowed slightly, and the corner of his mouth curved, "You forgot again, let me help you recall it"

"No, I didn't!"

Ford's eyes froze as he said with a smile, "I heard it."

"What?"

"Your heartbeat."

"..."

"Why don't you admit that you still like me?"

Julia was rather speechless by his question.

After a brief silence, she saw him raise his arm. His fingers gently pinched the tip of her nose.

Julia couldn't believe it. She stared at his eyes, and the man said, "Aren't you afraid of becoming Pinocchio?"

Puzzled for a moment, she then realized that this was what she had said before. A liar's nose would grow longer.

After pausing for a moment, Ford took the opportunity to pinch her cheeks again before withdrawing his hand. Then, he said as if nothing had happened, "You're blushing."

Julia's face instantly turned completely red. Her ears were buzzing, and the burning sensation on her skin was especially intense.

"Perhaps it's too hot."

She didn't really want to talk about this topic and said perfunctorily, "But I guess your fine..."

Ford's gaze still fell on her red face as he said playfully, "Is October still hot?"

"Yes, I'm afraid of the heat." Julia stood up abruptly and replied angrily, "If you could stay away from me, I wouldn't be so hot."

"Stay away?" Ford also stood up and looked down at her.

From this point of view, his exquisite and noble face could be said perfect.

He was a monster.

"That's right, your temperature is 37 degrees. My temperature is 37 degrees too. Of course, it will be hot when we lean against each other."

Julia had a set of distorted reasoning, "If it was someone else, I would also feel hot. Don't get me wrong.

"Someone else?"

Ford repeated it, his expression seemingly calm, but vaguely overflowing with hostility.

Julia subconsciously explained, "It's just that breathing between people produces heat. I don't mean anything else. Don't think too much about it."

"Oh." Ford's expression was indifferent as he said, "I didn't think too much about it."

After getting drunk last time, the girl's words were still clear in his ears.

'If Ford likes me, I'll hide far away so that he won't be able to find me again...'

He could imagine how the girl would flee.

She would flee in panic.

Julia seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. She really didn't want to offend him, much less get so close to him.

"If there's nothing else, I'll leave."

Julia reminded him once again. Ford did not say anything. She moved her body slightly and tried her best not to touch him.

Fortunately, the process went smoothly. Ford leaned on the table and looked at her. When she was about to walk out of the door, he said, "I only have one request. Don't accept other men before you think it over."

Julia paused.

"Otherwise, I am really...." Ford deliberately paused for a few seconds before saying, "A little pitiful."

"..."

Pushing the door open, Julia was still in a daze. There was someone outside, and she nodded politely and walked forward.

What does he mean?

Him? A little pitiful?

How could he become pitiful?

Thinking back earlier when Ford approached her, her heart pounded violently. She was not someone who could be approached by a man at will.

However, she didn't seem to mind his touch at all, and her body even instinctively wanted to get close to him.

Ford was right. Why couldn't she admit that she still liked him? She really liked him for nearly six years. How could it disappear in an instant.

However, it had a huge gap between them now.

When things could not be solved, just wait and there would always be an answer.

....

The office was spacious and bright. Ford stood against the light; his figure was handsome.

"I really underestimated you." Jack leaned against the doorframe, his peach blossom eyes rolling carelessly as he said word by word, "A Little Pitiful?"

Ford was too ruthless. He splashed dirty water on himself. Ordinary people couldn't do it...

"Speak more." Ford's voice was deep and oppressive.

"Don't be like this. I have the best Photoshop skills."

Ford looked at him. "You, as the top ten hackers in the world, are even compared to amateurs. Are you sure?"

"Didn't you know that Photoshop skill is one of the Four Great Asian Spells?" Jack was shameless and did not feel any pressure. "I tried my best."

When the man returned to his seat, his handsome face was filled with concentration. It was said that a serious man was the most attractive. His facial features shone brightly, it was so attractive.

Jack couldn't help but sigh. Facing such a man, Julia was able to calm down. That little girl was so amazing.

Thinking about it, Jack find it interesting. He suddenly had some anticipation.

.....

Julia stood at the elevator and waited.

Ding—

The elevator door opened and two people stood inside.

The man in front was dressed in a black sweater and looked fat and muscular. The other man was wearing a green casual suit, a mask and a hat. He lowered his head slightly and she couldn't see his face clearly.

Julia only glanced at them and stepped aside, giving it to them to come out first.

They came out one after another, and the man in the green casual suit walked out first . When he turned to take out his phone, he dropped a business card from his pocket.

Julia lowered her head to look at a gilded business card with all the titles in English on it. She picked it up and shouted, "Sir."

The two people in front paused and turned around at the same time.

The fat little man subconsciously took a step forward to block the man in the green casual suit and looked at her with vigilance in his eyes.

Julia didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She handed over the business card in her hand, and her eyes floated behind the fat as she said, "It was that gentleman who dropped this."

The fat little man looked at the business card and did nothing. He just sneered, "Miss, this way of picking up a conversation is old—fashioned."

"..." Julia was speechless.
