Mugo Clan

Naoki arrived in his study with Kazuki and Juji close behind. They closed the doors and Naoki took out a map showing Japan broken up into countries. The words Yamashiki is present above a big part of Japan.

"It seems that the Mugo clan has been moving rapidly lately." Naoki began as he opened some more parchment to write on.

"Yeah, they've been destroying the small countries at a faster pace lately." Naoki continued.

"They destroyed about 20 small countries including the Yama clan, the Shirogane estate, the Ito territories and such. "

"The Ito territory?" Kazuki asked, Naoki nodded.

"Oh I know, I know." Juji exclaimed excited, Naoki chuckled while Kazuki nodded.

"Weren't they the renown ninja family." Juji answered.

"Yes, they are still alive though since the Mugo clan also destroyed their land connected to the Shirogane estate." Naoki said.

"The Shirogane country, I heard they were a small country but they were quite rich weren't they." Kazuki said, Naoki nodded. Right on cue Juji threw over a bamboo strip scroll and it very accurately landed on the desk spread open to reveal its information inside.

Inside is another map of Japan but a small piece of land is marked out with dark black ink and an enlarged version is shown next to it. On the land drawn a bunch of metal cave marks are drawn on this small land. This country may be small but it is abundant with many precious metals, after this country is destroyed the land was split with its neighboring countries which include the Yamashiki country who has taken a large portion of the land. This has helped their country a lot economically, however with them so prosperous they are always in fear of another country attacking them.

"It seems that father is ignorant of the Mugo clan's real intentions." Naoki said gravely his eyes dark.

"You father, the emperor, prizes the Mugo family very much since he believes they are loyal to him but I suspect this is most likely not the case." When Kazuki said this the atmosphere in the room tensed up and Juji sat on a stool with a rare serious look.

"I believe they might be planning something behind the scenes now that the emperor has given their sub leader the seat of Prime Minister." Kazuki continued.

Naoki let out a sigh and took out a list of recordance of what the Mugo family has done in the past few years. The Mugo has done enough barbaric acts to fill the entire study if they had it all recorded what Naoki has here are only the most recent ones. There were recordings of brutal recordings of different conquerings, burnings and stealing. Naoki does not understand why his father would allow such people to be part of their court.

"Naoki besides the Mugo clan I have another situation you need to know." Kazuki said as he slipped over another parchment.

"There is a new rising country call the Shiratori County." He continued.

"Shiratori... You don't think that he will be related to this right." Naoki said dee in thought.

"Shiratori, oh you mean the guy we just met, Yuki Shiratori." Juji said.

"As much as it seems too coincidental I have to say that it seems that Shiratori Yuki has nothing to do with this Shiratori County. I had a person check on them before they are pretty ordinary and they seem to live on the Shirogane country territory. Also you did say before that Shiratori and Kota are pretty common last names." Kazuki replied with a sigh.

"Nothing to do with this new country huh." Naoki murmured as his mind flashed back to the sword and that person's skill.

"Juji." He suddenly asked.

"Yeah?" Juji answered, confused.

"I know you know a wide variety of techniques I want to know about that technique that this Shiratori person did to get rid of the bandits." Naoki said.

"Shiratori, skill, bandits." Juji mumbled deep in thought.

"Oh that skill!" He suddenly said as he skimmed the shelves for a certain book.

"Ah, here it is. Look I think it's the Samurai Sword Wave." Juji replied with a smile.

"It's a skill that requires a huge amount of stamina since the individual needs to do a bunch of complicated moves to perform this skill. But if this skill is performed by a professional it is said that it can knock down enemies at all sides." Juji continued.

"Samurai Sword Wave. The name itself doesn't sound very menacing or powerful." Kazuki remarked.

"Yeah, the person that came up with this skill also created other powerful sword skills but their names can be said to be the most unordinary and bland." Juji replied.

"So this is a samurai skill then." Naoki said bringing them back to the main topic.

"Yeah, the creator of this skill is the samuria Kouko Subaru. But he's been dead for ten years." Juji said.

'Ten years. Then how did he learn this skill , this skill is definitely too much to learn or handle by a child' Naoki wondered.

"Did he take in any students?" Naoki asked.

"Don't think so, I heard he did have one student but something happened and that student suddenly disappeared. After that he made a policy to never take in any students again, because of this here were no one to inherit most of his teachniques." Juji explained sadly.

"A waste of a good talent." Kazuki added.

Silence was the only response given by Naoki as he was deep in thought. Kazuki and Juji saw this and got back to work, whenever Naoki is deep in thought he will be in a daze or he will doze off into his own world. During these moments it is best to not bother him because if you break off his train of thoughts he can become very moody for the rest of the day.

However someone just so happens to want to come in at this moments.

"Naoki oni samaa!" Princess Sakura cried out as loud as she banged the door open. Juji tried to hold in the his laugh while Kazuki let out a sigh before hitting his palm to his face. Naoki's thoughts were broken by this commotion as he stood up you can see the anger in his eyes and on his face.

Princess Sakura looked at the three not sure why there is a tense atmosphere in the room.
