The Blue Owl Miraculous

The students of Françoise Dupont High School and I worked together to move the heavy lockers in front of the door of the school and freed ourselves.

I immediately ran to Master Fu's clinic, or where I hope it is. I hope this won't be too bad.

I found the clinic and dashed in to find another Reflekta copy inside. It is that bad.

"Yin? What are you doing here?" He asked. Or should be saying she?

"You know my name?"

"Of course! Now tell me everything."

So I told him everything. No, I didn't tell him my life story, just the things that had happened during Reflekta's attacks.

Master Fu nodded in concentration. "I'm afraid the day has come where I have to put it to use."

"W-what are you talking about?"

"You are aware of Ladybug's true identity, aren't you?"

"How-?"

"Seeing your reaction I assume that the answer is yes. Now, I'm sure you are familiar with the system of the miraculous function, am I right?"

I nod my head slowly. Is this going where I think it's going?

Master Fu clicked a few buttons on the dragon themed phonograph and it  swirled open. A small hexagon box appeared. 

I was confused. Wasn't he supposed to get a miraculous from the miracle box? And not only that, this box is ice blue in color, and the markings on it are sliver. Ironically.

"Yin Lin, this is the miraculous of the blue owl, which grants the power of knowledge. You will use it for the greater good, and look after it well."

"Are you giving it to me permanently?" I asked in shock.

He nodded.

"B-but, I'm not cut out to be a hero! That time I used the Ladybug Miraculous, I had failed but Chat was able to help me. This time, I won't have any help and I might fail-"

"No, you won't. You've proven countless of times that you would make a great hero. Be careful, though. This miraculous is stronger than the Ladybug and the Black Cat Miraculous as it is from a more powerful box that is based on rare animals. You will need it since you're fighting alone."

I nodded but was very confused. The miraculous box that Master Fu was guardian of, was said to be the most powerful. Also, why didn't he get the miraculous from the miraculous box? Did he only manage to save one miraculous? But I shook away those thoughts and opened the box.

As expected, a bright light came out and revealed my Kwami. 

"Hello, there. My name is Hedwig," she said. Hedwig wasn't like any owl I had seen before. She has white and light blue feathers and had a sliver glow to her. She reminds me of the blue owls in the Philippines.

Her voice was friendly and kind, but there was a stern ground behind it. Kind of like a teacher talking to her student. Hopefully she'll warm up to me in the future. 

"I'll let you two sort things out," said Master Fu, retreating to a different room.

"Hello, Hedwig. My name is Yin."

She looked me up and down. 

"You are quite special aren't you." She said softly. What did she mean? Does she know I'm from another world? She is the Kwami of wisdom after all. "Now, Yin. To transform, you must say 'Hedwig, the moon has risen!'; to detransform, say 'Hedwig, the sun is up'. Is this clear?"

I nod. I think my neck is going to break off from all of it.

I picked up the miraculous. It was a necklace that has a crescent moon with an owl standing on it. In it's activated form, the color of the miraculous is sliver.

"The power of wisdom that is granted when you use this miraculous allows you to know everything about your opponent. After you've used your power, you'll have nine minutes until you detransform. The nine feathers on the Owl Miraculous will start beeping every time a  minute is up," explained Hedwig.

I took a deep breath. I'm probably not freaking out because the news hasn't sunk in yet, but I suppose that's a good thing. I can scream later.

"Hedwig, the moon has risen!"

I went into a quick transformation phase. After, I felt as if my entire body was being hugged.

I looked in a mirror Master Fu had in his clinic and checked myself out.

My suit had a color theme of different shades of dark blue in small streaks among white, sliver and ice blue. From my shoulders to my neck to my elbow, the suit was ice blue. After that, it was white. There was a semi circle on my upper chest, and below it, the costume was white and slowly fading to light blue from my waist. There was also a cape of sorts that was made out of icy blue feathers that went from my waist down to the middle of my calves. There were dark ice blue patters at the end of the feathers. Just under my knees, the costume is also white. The end of the feathers fades out into white, just like my hair in civilian form. But now it's different.

My hair is now platinum blonde with subtle shows of the original brown and had been braided with a few sliver feathers in my hair. The owl mask on my face had a beak of sorts on my nose bridge with feather markings. This miraculous can actually disguise it's holder. That's new.

I noticed that my eyes now have a yellow tint to it. Probably the night vision, since owls are more active when the moon is up.

Around my waist is a satin belt. It's slightly darker color of ice blue stood out from the rest of the suit, making me realize I can detach it.

I took it off and it morphed into a blue see through screen. The instructions manual!

I swiped through the slides talking about the physical abilities that are given along with every miraculous. I already know that. What I need to read is about the powers of this miraculous which I know nothing about. 

"Ah, ha! Secret super powers!"

I allowed myself to marvel over the abilities I now have before switching to the other panel. It explains about the weapon.

This should be interesting, since I don't have a visible weapon on hand.

Wait, seriously? That is so cool!

I was quite nervous before, but now I feel a bit excited to get into battle.

So...? I'm excited to hear your thoughts! I did a LOT of research on owls for this. Pls don't leave me hanging. :D (And maybe if I can, I might draw you in the owl miraculous. Maybe.) And tell me if you can't read the words clearly, I'll type it out!

So I thought over tis for a long time and decide to rewrite the background for the owl miraculous. I felt like I made it a bit to overpowered- okay, VERY overpowered in the original version. This probably makes more sense story wise. I hope you guys won't get too confused!
