Luka x Depressed! Reader x Adrien (Not Romantically)

(A/n)-This was a request. And please note that there are triggers in here. Things like, "They domt care." and family problems. If this bothers you please don't read. Thanks for reading!

You let the tears cascade down your face. You silently sobbed and curled yourself tighter into your ball. It was getting to be too much.

How much longer must you suffer? Your body shivered. The floor was cold against your skin.

"Why...?"

You pulled your hood over your head as you entered the classroom. You darted your eyes around, trying to see if Chloe was here yet. You sighed in relief.

You took your seat at the back and decided to take a nap. It was short lived when you heard someone come in. "Oh, hey, (Y/n)."

You peeked over your arm and saw Adrien standing there smiling at you. You gave a small wave. Adrien sat next to you seeing as y'all were the only ones here.

"How are you this morning?" He asked casually. You kept silent, not wanting to answer his question. You didn't want him to know all of your problems, scared he'd leave if he knew.

In truth, your family life wasn't the best. Your parents often fought, and you were always cast away like you didn't exist. Over time you grew depressed from the isolation.

Adrien let it go, noticing how uncomfortable you were. He shifted the conversation to a brighter topic. "Did you hear that André's is opening again for the spring?"

You shook your head. "...I've never...had André's ice cream..." You muttered. Adrien's eyes widened.

"You haven't? I'll have to take you! Some friends and I are going later today if you'd like to join." He scooted closer to you. You tensed at the close proximity.

"..."

Adrien frowned. Then he remembered. You didn't like large crowds.

"That's ok. We can go some other time." Then someone else walked in. It was Luka.

"Hey, guys! What's up?" he greeted as he joined y'all. You sighed as you realized you weren't getting any sleep. You pushed yourself up and gave a shy wave.

"Oh, hey, Luka. Nothing much. We were just talking about about how André's is opening today." Luka took the seat next to you. "Oh, yeah! Aren't you and the others going after school?"

The boys began conversing while you sat there silently. You checked your phone and saw that you had a few minutes before class started. Maybe you could get some sleep before-

"(Y/n), are you alright?"

You looked to see Luka eying you, concerned. "...Yeah? I'm just tired." You didn't want to say it was because your parents kept you up all night with their fighting.

Luka went to speak when he was cut off by the bell. The boys gave you concerned glances before going to their own seats. Then the others flowed in like a school of fish.

Then the queen of terror waltzed in. She looked around and spotted you. She scoffed.

"I'm surprised, really. I didn't expect you to show up after your embarrassing accident yesterday." She smirked. You dipped your head as to shield you ng romance her gaze. Chloe had tripped you while you were carrying your tray at lunch, resulting in everyone watching and you crying your eyes out.

"Chloe, leave her alone. What exactly has she done to hurt you?" You saw Adrien glaring at the blonde. She gasped.

"But, Adrikins! She started this! She called me ugly and stupid, and she even tripped me-" "We all know that's a lie. (Y/n) can hardly speak, much less shame and bully you." Chloe stared wide-eyed at the male.

"Ugh! Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"

"Go tell it to someone who cares," Alix cut in. The class erupted with laughter. Chloe glared at you and took her seat with a "hmph!".

Adrien looked at you, giving you a reassuring smile. You smiled, a small one, but enough to express your gratitude. Adrien took his seat, and class began.

You sat on the bench, eating your lunch. You stared at the others who conversed around you. You spotted Adrien and Luka chatting with Marinette and Alya.

"They don't care, you know," a voice came from beside you. You turned to see Chloe smirking at you. You averted your gaze.

"They only pity you."

You packed your lunch together and stood up to leave. You were pushed back down. "You're not going anywhere. Not after what you did this morning."

Your tray fell to the floor. Chloe snickered. "Chloe!"

You both turned to see Adrien and Luka marching over. The blonde called after Adrien. "Adrikins! Did you come to see me?~"

"You need to stop with this, Chloe. Hurting others isn't going to make yourself feel or look any better," Adrien said, sparing you a glance. Chloe scoffed. "But she was so mean to me this morning!"

"She was not. Now cut the excuses. Apologize."

Chloe stamped her foot. "I refuse to apologize to such a loser!" She marched away with her fists clenched.

"Are you ok, (Y/n)?" Luka asked. You nodded your head. Adrien looked down at your spilled lunch.

"How about we get you some more lunch?" He offered. He held out his hand for you to take. You hesitantly took it and let the boys lead you to the cafeteria.

You walked outside, ready to walk home. Today had been the worst. Chloe and Sabrina had gone above and beyond to torture you all day, and then you cried in front of everyone.

It was a miracle you hadn't gotten akumatized yet. "Hey! (Y/n)! Wait up!" You paused in your steps as you heard you name being called.

Adrien and Luka caught up to you. "Today was pretty rough, wasn't it?" Luka said. You looked at the ground.

"W-well, how about we finally make that ice cream trip we talked about?" Adrien offered. You looked at him. "Just me, you and Luka."

The two boys gave you reassuring smiles. "W-why...?" Your voice came out strained and quiet.

Luka took your hands in his. "Because we want to cheer you up. We care about you, (Y/n), and we want you to know that we're always here for you." Your eyes welled with tears.

Luka and Adrien awaited your response. You gave a real, genuine smile.

"...I'd like that."
