You skipped your way into your room, humming a tune. Today was the best day of your life! Your crush, Adrien, was your partner for a project!

You went to your room and flipped onto your bed. You snuggled with your pillow, imagining it was Adrien. "(Y/n)! I hope you cleaned your room like I told you! Our company is here!"

Your eyes widened when you heard those words. You hurriedly hurriedly put all your stuff in your closet and put your clothes in the laundry room. Your door opened to reveal your mother holding a box.

"(Y/n), this came in the mail for you."

You smiled and ran up to her. "Thanks, Mama!" You snatched the package away from her and ran to your bed.

You opened it and you gasped. "Yeeeesss! It came! It came!" You danced around your bedroom while holding your new magazine.

You looked at the cover and saw Adrien's beautiful smile. Before you could do anything, your door opened. "(Y/n), our company is here. Come on."

You happily nodded your head and placed your magazine on your bed. You skipped into the living room where you nearly tripped over your own two feet. Adrien Agreste was in your living room.

With his father. Talking to your mother. "Adrien! H-hi!"

He turned to you and smiled. You blushed and walked over to him. "Wh-what are you doing here?", you asked.

He chuckled and said, "My dad and I were invited to discuss something." You gave a confused look. "What are we discussing?", you asked.

"I don't know. My dad wouldn't even tell me." He shrugged his shoulders and laughed. "(Y/n), come over here and meet Gabriel."

You looked past Adrien and saw your mother smiling and chatting with Gabriel. You waved at Adrien and walked over to then, smiling. You held out your hand for a hand shake and said, "Hello, Mister Agreste. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

He shook your hand and smiled. "The pleasure's all mine. What a beautiful young girl you are." You smiled and thanked him.

"Dinner's ready!", your mom called from the kitchen. You guided the two to the dining room where you helped your mom set everything up. Y'all started eating and chatting few minutes later.

"Kids, Gabriel and I have to tell y'all something.", your mother said. You turned to Adrien who gave you a confused look as well. You both looked at the adults, giving them your undivided attention.

"We-um, how do I say this? Gabriel and I are getting married."

And must like that, your smile turned upside down. You furrowed your brows and stared at them. "Wh-what did you say?"

She gave you a wary smile. "We're getting married." You looked at Adrien, mouth agape.

"We're gonna be...siblings?!" Your breathing hitched as you stood from your seat and stormed to your room.

Then as you shut the door you realized. Adrien might not even like you. "So this might be fine, no problem. Yep. Just perfect!"

Adrien went wide eyes and glared at his father. "Why? Why are you doing this to me? I told you my secret and you do this?" He stood from his seat and stormed outside.

"I told you this would happen..."

After that incident you promised you would be happy for your mother. You didn't have the right to be so selfish. This was your mother's happiness we were talking about!

You walked into class, soon turning that into a skip. You tried forgetting about what happened and decided to start humming your favorite song. Then Adrien walked in and you frowned.

Instead of sitting in his normal spot he walked over to you. He gave you the same wary smile your mother did. "(Y/n), I know we're going to be siblings, but there's something-"

"I love you."

You covered your mouth and went wide eyes. "I-I'm so sorry! I don't know-" He started laughing.

"What's so funny?", you asked. Adrien sighed. "It's just- I love you too."

You started laughing too and wrapped your arms around him. "Adrien, what are we gonna do?" You pulled away and frowned.

"I-I don't know..."

Then a lightbulb went off in your head. "Hey! I know what we can do!" He looked at you and smiled as you whispered into his ear.

You grabbed your latest Adrien magazine and walked over to your mother. She was talking with Gabriel until she saw you and Adrien coming over.

"Hey, kids. What's going on?", she asked. You drew a deep breath and handed her the magazine. "Mama, I know what you're gonna say. But please- hear us out."

She looked at the magazine and then at you and Adrien. "What's this?", she asked. You looked to Adrien for support.

"Well, Adrien and I...we...like each other...more than friends. But-but it's ok! Because we know that your happiness means more to us than ours!" She looked at you sternly, almost as if she was about to chastise you for something. But then she gave you a big grin.

"(Y/n), Gabriel and I really appreciate your honesty. And trust us, we want this to work out too. But..."

"We want you to be happy. That's why we wanted to get married was so you two could be happy. Adrien wanted a mother and (Y/n) wanted a father.", Gabriel explained. You gasped and smiled. "But y'all love each other, don't you?", Adrien asked them.

Your mother chuckled. "Well, Yes. But if y'all aren't happy with the marriage, then what's the point?" You smiled brightly at her.

"So, the marriage is off?"

She smiled and nodded her head. You and Adrien turned to each and hugged. "I love you, (Y/n)!"

You nuzzled into the crook of his neck. "I love you too, Adrien." He grabbed your hand and led you outside where y'all would be going to get ice cream.

Gabriel looked at (M/n) and chuckled. "We really had them going, didn't we?" (M/n) laughed and smiled.

"We sure did."
