"(Y/n)! You don't need to do this! He didn't mean to make things worse!"

It was the usual day for you. Get bullied in the morning and afternoon, physically. Get verbally picked on all day.

You were sick of it. It was bringing you down each and every day. You cried yourself to sleep thinking about the pain you felt every day.

It didn't help that your parents were off on a year long business trip. What if Chloe beat you to the point that you were unconscious? You never could rely on anyone.

The one person in your life moved away and then forgot you. So now you were alone. "Look at that piece of trash. I wonder why they haven't come to pick it up yet."

You growled and brought your knees closer to your chest. Even the nicest people in the school were tormenting you. Rose, Juleka, Marinette, Alya...

All of the people everyone thought to be nothing but sunshine and rainbows turned out to be nightmares. They laughed and walked past you. "Hey, that's not very nice."

You didn't even bother looking up. It was a boy so they would just make an even worse remark. "Hey, are you alright?"

A hand stretched out to you and you finally looked up to see a blonde kid with emerald green eyes. He was giving you a small smile telling you it was okay. "What's your name? Mine is Adrien."

He was definitely new. Everyone was making fun of him. You shooed his hand away.

"I don't think yoy want to be caught around me..." He furrowed his brows and placed his fists on his hips. "Who says who I can hang out with?"

"Dude, don't get any closer or she'll rip your hair out," Nino warned. Nino shot you a glare. "Listen, you look like a nice kid. Let me show you around and tell you the right people to hang around."

Adrien shook his arm off of his shoulder and glared at him. "No, thanks. I have other plans." Everyone began talking bad about the kid and walked off.

"Here, let me help you." He grabbed your hand and hoisted you up. His smile was so bright it nearly blinded you. "Thanks...," you mumbled.

"No problem. I can't stand bullies. How do you manage?" He looked at you with curiosity. You shrugged your shoulders.

"I have for four years now. Name's (Y/n). Nice to meet you, Adrien." He extended his hand for a hand shake but you just had your arm recoil back to your jacket pocket. "I'm not big on touching."

He rubbed the back of his neck and apologized. "Would you mind showing me around? The others seem like complete jerks," he requested. You looked down in shame.

"I actually don't know where everything is... I mostly just spend my time in the library," you explained. Adrien laughed and you could've sworn you had heard thst laugh before. "Then it's off to the library, we go, right?"

Your cheeks heated and you kept your head low. This kid was being nice to you. Actually, genuinely, nice!

You guided him to the library and cleared your throat. "Th-this is the library. Pick any seat." He thanked you and sat down by the cats' section.

You followed behind him and took the other seat at his table. "Y-you like cats...?" He pulled a book off the shelf and hummed in response.

"Yes, black cats especially. Speaking of, have you met Cat Noir yet?" You shook your head and pulled your hood over your head more.

"Whenever there's an akuma I'm always either in here or at home..."

He frowned snd lesned over the table a bit. "Well, I can change that!" You blinked and tilted your head.

"How?"

"I have my ways," he said with a wink snd began reading the book on the black cat. You stared at him in bewilderment but then slouched in your chair. He certainly wasn't normal...

Adrien had upheld his promise to make you and Cat Noir meet. The superhero was quite charming and he was even s bit flirty. Though reality set in every morning when you got to school.

You wanted time to stop so you wouldn't have to go to school. You enjoyed your time with Cat and Adrien. With them life was good again.

"(Y/n), I have a surprise for you."

Cat covered your eyes and chuckled. "Plagg, claws out!" You gasped and turned around instantly, shocked at what you saw.

Adrien was right there. You wanted to be happy but the negative set in faster. "Why you of all people? Y-you risk your life everyday for sad, sorry, emotional people!"

You didn't like the fact thst it was Adrien under the mask for reasons hard to explain. You wanted him to be safe but here he was saving the city! It just didn't set right with you.

"Wh-what do you mean?" His bright eyes glistened with tears. You were already crying.

"I thought you would be happy! I-I made sure everything was perfect! What did I do wrong?!" You backed up and shook your head slowly. "You put yourself in danger, that's what you did."

He walked closer to you with a heavy glare. "I did it for you! I wanted you to know you were safe with me!" He nearly closed you in a corner before you ran downstairs and out the door, no intended destination in mind.

The tears came flowing out your eyes as you wiped them away each second. You hid behind the usual dark alleyway and slid down. "N-now...now he hates me!"

Suddenly all the pain you felt went away. It was dark and comforting. Nice, warm, and inviting...

"Haha! You'll never defeat me!" You flew through Paris being chased by the two Parisian superheroes. Cat was slower than usual.

You threw some catnip at him and made him pause. "What? Cst got your tongue?" Ladybug was still hot on your trail.

"(Y/n)! You don't need to do this! He didn't mean to make things worse!"

Ladybug was trying to bring you back. But it was too late now. You had powers to make everyone eho ever wronged you miserable.

And it was pay back time. You dodged Ladybug's yo-yo and hid behind a building. Then a hand clasped around your mouth. "I know who you're going after and I won't allow it."

You pushed his hand away. Turning to him you glared. "What's it to you if I go after the Agreste boy?"

"He's my son."

"F-father?" Y'all both turned to see Cat standing there shocked. His face then turned angry and he out his staff up.

"Impossible! (Y/n), come with me. You're loved over here." Cat was glaring at Hawkmoth amd waiting for you. "..."

"Eh, no, thanks."
