Minecrafting in Terraria as the Beheaded

What happens when someone dies? Well usually they go to the God they believed in or enter the Hell that was in their religion, or if they were atheist's... Not anymore they weren't Reincarnation was a sub subject of death, but it wasn't any easier to understand. When I died, I wondered how things would happen in death. I did not expect that I would get another chance of life. With three very different, but similar games that give me powers that go against common sense. So equipped with new powers I was all set on exploring the world. But why is it that I had to defeat the end bosses of all three games gunning for my head?

History time... Holy $H!T! (2)

Apparently, I was already intimately connected to the man who was the King of the Kingdom of Malaise, which was its current name., it's official name apparently being lost to history.

Taking out the keepsakes of the king out of my inventory I looked at them and compared it to the photos within the book.

I mean, it could just be a King of another fallen kingdom who had suspiciously similar circumstances that had the same name after all.

But even I knew that it was to coincidental to be false.

I mean, I don't know about circumstantial events, but I'm pretty sure the Kings wouldn't take well to another having the same name.

Flipping open the pages I stopped at the pages depicting a picture of the late king.

Maybe it was because of how quickly I was flipping the pages, but I quickly caught something.

Stopping my inane flipping of the pages I read a passage.

'The cause of this kingdom's down fall was said to be a treasure that could bring immense power, the Kingdom having a history of pushing back their enemies not only by Naval strength'

'But by using the very seas they were on as a weapon'

Pausing, I quickly ignored those words as I flipped the pages and somehow found the page I was looking for.

But by then my thoughts were consumed with something else.

'What the absolute hell' Cold sweat traveling down my back I took out the orb which was the so called treasure.

Before putting it back, I didn't know how to use it after all, and I didn't want to accidentally create a Tsunami devouring the entire city.

Shaking my head, I took out the items which were the previous possessions of the now dead king.

I found the Canon King's image, and am putting the armor onto this guy

+++

That being a piece of tattered previously black but now grey armor, with purple add on, pieces of gold decorating the outfit, with what looked like a red gem that's been shattered beyond recognition in the middle of the chest plate.

And half a spiked black crown which was still attached to what might've been a silver helmet, the rest of the crown and helmet having gone missing.

Looking at the photo which was drawn by hand and was nothing more than a sketch.

I compared the sketch to the armor.

And I concluded.

That the man who died in the underground?

He was the freaking King of the Kingdom of Malaise.

That was a plot twist and a half I didn't expect to stumble upon.

...

Closing the book with a flourish I turned to the rest of the books containing other bits of lore, the ones I'm most interested in right now being the ones about Terraria.

If you're wondering why I don't currently care?

It's because I could literally do nothing about it, so might as well care about something else instead of worrying about some future problem future me will have to worry about.

And why am I talking to myself? I am probably going insane.

Ignoring those words ringing in my mind I opened the book [The Continents of Minaft]

---

This world called Axia was split into two major continents, various subcontinent's were dotted between them, but it didn't change the fact that there were two main continent's.

The Minaft continent is one that had an incredibly different ecosystem than the Aria continent.

There were several species of monster that were the same but different in both continents.

The continent of Minaft being slightly safer if not for the great Villager/ Illager war that was occuring over there.

A great deal of war resources were being spent like water and the slightest mistake that could mark you as an enemy had you get assaulted by either an army of mechanical beings or fleshy abominations of life.

Of course, as the big nosed beings are the equivalent of super empires on the continent of Minaft there had to be a neutral party.

That neutral party was the witch's coven, a party similar to their big nosed and bald headed counterparts.

The strongest of them having removed the baldness and the big noses from their being.

The Witch's coven, as it says is a neutral party of the Minaft Continent and is a big party that doesn't like putting themselves in combat mostly including themselves in the field of both curses and potions.

Which meant that although they weren't avid fighters, they definitely weren't afraid.

Which was why, the entirety of Minaft Continent was embroiled in war.

The farthest reaches from the battle front weren't even safe as raiding parties periodically arrived.

Which made the entire continent of Minaft, one that was incredibly battle hardened.

Which was why all previous attempts to take over the Minaft continent had minimal success and usually ended in failure.

Using a different system of power than the wide spread magic system over here.

The Minaft continent used a magic called Enchanting.

Infusing their weapons with power beyond what they can normally out put, masters of the craft could influence the world itself with the Enchanted words.

---

Closing the book I frowned, I took a bit to much time reading in the library as I was to engrossed in studying the world.

But I made a note in my mind to visit the Minaft continent as soon as possible, the name sounding suspiciously similar to Minecraft.

Shrugging my shoulders I looked up at the windows and brought out my lantern before lighting it.

The sky was turning orange by now, so I should do it before I forget.

Grabbing another book of the now small pile I read the title.

[History of Aria]

Finally.

Opening the book I began to read.

---

A green flash of light appeared in a large forest, the entire area being filled with the natural beauty of nature.

As the green flash of light disappeared.

The pale skinned beauty with vine like hair and the several vines with large leaves acting like clothes, poor ones at that, slowly walked forwards out of the brown bark of a tree.

Setting foot on the ground, with a flourish all the plants around that foot suddenly livened up greatly.

Touching a nearby tree gently and walking forwards.

The tree that had been touched seemed to become several years younger and luvlier as the mottled and brittle old oak, suddenly became hard strong bark, its leaves becoming greener.

But the woman didn't mind that.

Traversing through the forest she finally appeared at its edge and stared forwards.

A city surrounded by tall stone walls that were being cleaned of the green blood splatters on it, a large round gaping hole in the side being patched up.

Looking at that sight, she turned and caught a glimpse of a giant white monster followed by red tendrils and widened her eyes.

The wide sharp teeth impaling the ground was an instant giveaway for the woman as she whispered.

"The Eye of Cthulhu" Sinking into the tree she quickly appeared to a plant near the giant beast.

"What brave hero took it upon themselves to end this beast?"

Looking at the beast for a moment the woman snapped her head to the side, at the several figures approaching with torches and hid herself in the plant.

"---"

"--- -- --------"

Thinking to herself as the people wielding torches neared she moved away with a rustle of the grass.

'As the last of my kind I must find this benefactor and repay him, otherwise my other Dryad sisters will be sad'
