The Chase

The sun hung high in the sky as Ethan prepared himself for the next step of his journey. He stood in the shadow of his mountain base, inspecting the few materials he had managed to gather.

The ender pearls were tightly secured in his pack, and now, he was focused on crafting the elusive ender crystals. He placed the blaze powder and pearls on his crafting table, his hands moving with precision as he completed the task. The ender crystals glowed faintly in his hand, their soft light casting an eerie glow in the darkened corners of his base.

His mind was set, his next destination was the Ender portal. He had a plan, if he could defeat the Ender Dragon, maybe, just maybe, it would unlock a way to escape this world and the growing threat of the mutant creatures. He couldn't shake the feeling that something bigger was coming for him, and he had to be ready.

Ethan packed his supplies, double-checked his armor and weapons, and stepped outside, locking his base behind him. His journey had officially begun.

---

After days of traveling, Ethan found himself deep in a dense forest, halfway to where he believed or where the ender crystal show him where the Ender portal was hidden. The trees around him loomed tall, their thick branches casting long shadows across the ground. He kept his guard up, knowing that danger could be lurking anywhere.

Suddenly, a chill crept down his spine. The forest had grown eerily quiet, and the sunlight seemed dimmer, more menacing. Ethan slowed his pace, his instincts screaming that something was wrong. That's when he spotted it, an skeleton, lurking in the shade of a nearby tree.

Its skin was green and toxic, just like a creeper's, but its body was skeletal, and it clutched a bow with explosive arrows. Even stranger, despite the sun's full glare, the creature didn't burn like a normal skeleton would. Instead, it crouched in the shadows, its glowing eyes locked onto Ethan.

Ethan's heart raced. Before he could react, the skeleton raised its bow and fired an arrow in his direction. The explosion was deafening, sending dirt and debris flying into the air. Ethan dived to the side, barely dodging the blast as the ground where he stood moments ago was reduced to a smoking crater.

"Run!" Ethan's mind screamed as he scrambled to his feet. But no sooner had he started running than he heard another sound, a sharp, high-pitched screech from above. Looking up, he saw the fiery phantom circling the sky. The mutant hovered above him, its body dripping molten lava.

The fiery phantom let out another shriek before spitting a stream of fire down at Ethan, setting the trees and bushes ahead of him ablaze. The flames spread quickly, cutting off his escape route. Ethan was now trapped between the explosive skeleton on the ground and the fiery phantom in the sky.

Desperate, Ethan sprinted sideways, hoping to find a way out of the those mutant attack range. Behind him, the skeleton fired more explosive arrows, each blast throwing him off balance as he dodged and weaved through the forest. Branches snapped and dirt erupted with every explosion, making the ground beneath him unstable.

The fiery phantom swooped lower, spitting another jet of flame that scorched the trees around him. The intense heat seared Ethan's skin, and he winced as he narrowly avoided the fire. His breathing grew labored, and his injuries from the previous fights started to weigh him down.

He couldn't keep running forever. He had to think of something.

With his heart pounding in his chest, Ethan found a small clearing and skidded to a halt. He spun around, drawing his shield just in time to deflect another of the skeleton's explosive arrows. The force of the explosion sent him tumbling backward, but he managed to stay on his feet.

The fiery phantom swooped in, claws outstretched, ready to tear into him. Ethan swung his sword, the enchanted blade glowing as it clashed with the phantom's fiery claws. Sparks flew as the two collided, and Ethan felt the heat of the creature's body as it passed by him.

But he was outmatched. The skeleton's ranged attacks and the phantom's aerial assaults left him with no room to counterattack. His armor, though enchanted, had already taken several hits, and he could feel the strain of the fight wearing him down. The two mutants were relentless, and Ethan was starting to realize that he couldn't win this fight, not here, not now.

He had to escape.

His mind raced, searching for a solution. Then, it hit him, "Nether!, if i able to escape there, maybe i can shake off those two mutant"

Ignoring the pain coursing through his body, Ethan quickly grabbed his pickaxe and began digging into the ground. He worked fast, carving out a small pit to shield himself from the incoming attacks. The explosive skeleton launched another arrow, but it hit the edge of the pit, the explosion sending rocks and dirt flying overhead but leaving him unharmed.

Ethan's heart pounded in his chest as he slammed the all obsidian block into place, the frame of the Nether portal standing tall in the small pit he'd dug. The screech of the fiery phantom echoed above him, getting closer with each second. There was no time to waste. He fumbled with his flint and steel, finally managing to ignite the portal, the purple light swirling to life.

"Come on, come on!" he muttered to himself, standing up and taking a quick glance behind him. The explosive skeleton was preparing another arrow, its eyes glowing with a sinister green hue, while the fiery phantom circled lower, embers falling like rain.

Without looking back again, Ethan leaped through the portal, the air shimmering around him as he was pulled into the Nether.

---

He stumbled out into the familiar hellscape of the Nether, nearly falling onto the coarse red stone beneath him. The heat hit him immediately, but he didn't stop. His eyes darted around wildly, making sure no hostile mobs were nearby.

"there no way i let them follow me here" as Ethan quickly place a block in the portal... directly disable the portal, to be safe he quickly destroy the portal, collecting all obsidion block.

"That should stop them..." Ethan muttered to himself, taking a deep breath.

The oppressive heat of the Nether began to settle in, reminding him where he was. Lava flowed in the distance, and the eerie red glow of the terrain filled the air. He was far from the monsters in the Overworld, but the Nether had its own dangers.

"I can't relax here either," Ethan said quietly, his eyes scanning the landscape. "No telling what might come after me next."

He cautiously moved away, stepping lightly across the Netherstone, trying not to draw attention. He knew he had to find shelter soon, but for now, he focused on staying alert, keeping his ears open for any sign of trouble.

---

Back in the Overworld, the fiery phantom and the explosive skeleton stood in front of the deactivated portal, growling in frustration. The phantom swooped down angrily, its fiery wings crackling as it circled the destroyed portal.

The explosive skeleton fired an arrow into the ground, sending a small explosion of dirt flying in all directions. They had lost their prey.

"Rrraaagh!" the fiery phantom let out an enraged screech, flying high into the air before coming back down. Its burning gaze scanned the area, but Ethan was gone.

The two mutants exchanged low growls, communicating in a way only they understood. After a moment of shared frustration, the explosive skeleton turned, its glowing green eyes narrowing as it pointed back toward the direction they had come.

The fiery phantom gave a final angry hiss before following. They had no choice but to retreat.

---

Meanwhile, Ethan continued his slow, careful journey through the Nether, his eyes always scanning the horizon for any danger. For now, he was safe. But he knew it wouldn't last forever.

This time he got lucky, if Uyou the vampire that he kill before combine together with those two mutant to ambush him then he dont have any chance to run away or even to survive.
