chapter 1: where am i

minato arisato after becoming the great seal suddenly wakes up in a new world with his power still intact. He finds himself in a place called kouh in japan as an ordinary high schooler, but that doesn't mean he's normal. minato will have to make friends and find allies while fighting against enemies who are trying to use him for their own purposes. this is a story of minato's journey through life and death in a world where nothing is what it seems.

summary: minato arisato has been revived from death after being sealed away by the great seal. Now he has to try and survive in this new world like everyone else...but things aren't so easy.

"where am i" calmly minato looked around but couldn't understand what was he doing here.

'wait? what happened to the great seal?!' all of a sudden minato panicked internally ' if i'm here than what's stopping erebus from reaching nyx'

the thought sent shivers down his spine, he felt like the air had turned cold.

'i-i need to think for a moment' that's when he noticed it 'there are still people around' he let out a breathe of relief ' that means there's still a chance to save this'

minato walked over with an urgency hidden to the nearest person and asked her about where he was.

"excuse me, do you know where I am right now?"

"um...yes, you are in metropolis but shouldn't you be in school you're wearing a uniform" she pointed out to him.

"that's not important right now" minato said quickly shaking his head.

"okay then, umm...what's your name?"

"it's minato arisato, nice to meet you." minato was speaking calmly as he always did which was surprising considering he just woke up from the dead.

"yeah it is nice to meet you, my name is kyoka fuyukura, so what are you doing here? she asked him.

"I don't know either" minato forced a smile.

"but can you please tell me where the library" he asked her trying to change the subject.

"oh yes! The library is in the east side of town, you should follow me" she said pointing in the opposite direction.

"thank you"

"you are welcome" she smiled at him, minato was starting to feel less tense.

"so what do you plan on doing here? she asked him.

"well, I want to learn more about the area so you can just tell me the way there and i can get there by myself". he said not wanting to bother this nice lady anymore.

"alright then" she smiled again.

thankfully kyoka didn't persist on going with him and told him where to go

after arriving at the library and using one of the computers there he was immediately confused 'i-i can't find anything about port city or the kirijo group anywhere' he sat back down frustrated.

'that doesn't make sense the kirijo group is a multi billion dollar business… unless' he started thinking hard.

all of a sudden a letter appeared in his pocket and it said 'minato if your reading this it means that i finally found a way to release you but that would mean you could never go back to your world sorry that i can't tell you more but just know you don't have to worry about the seal anymore or about nyx from elizabeth'

minato was still worried at first but after a few seconds he calmed down.

'this is good news i trust elizabeth to not let anything go wrong but it also means I won't be able to see her or my friends again'.

this saddened him they were the few people he cared about after all he only became the great seal to save them, but the letter made him feel better because he knew that they would be safe and happy in his world.

he left the library walking aimlessly 'i'm in a different world but what do i even do here'

then he looked up and saw it "is that a man wearing spandex with underwear on the outside flying?!" 'what exactly is happening in this world'
