Minutes later, he sighed and turned to the two men.

On the other side of the gate, a dark rocky place could be seen. Coldness was emitting out of there.

"What sort of mastery must the creator of this Sage strategy have? To think that he merged strategy technology with magic!" Ming Sheng spoke.

"No wonder Consulate was after this Sage strategy so fixedly. So many wars were fought just to obtain the resources needed to open the Sage strategy gate." Xiao said.

The rock walls in the distance were glistening like metal. Up above was a scene of pure black with a single disk of faint white light. It could not illuminate well and thus the cave remained dark.

Everybody used support techniques to observe the place and carefully stepped forth. Up ahead was a large temple, seemingly made from some unknown black material.

"This place is giving me the creeps. There's no wind, no sounds, nothing alive…" Xiurong whispered. Lifen nodded. Many others were feeling the same.

"Surround that temple." Xiao commanded. "Silver Knightmare, Ryuga, Tian Mei come with me."

Soon, the temple was surrounded and the chosen few entered the temple with Xiao. The gate was found open. Inside, things got stranger. The floor was filled with uneven structures while walls were smooth and the entirety of the temple was one single large hall supported by a single pillar.

"Okay…whose temple is this?" Xiao frowned. This world had many gods but mostly only ordinary humans worshipped them. Cultivators would rather focus on cultivation. But every temple must be dedicated to some God or Goddess, right? In this mysterious temple, no image or idol of any God could be seen.

"I believe your technique can help record all these symbols?" Xiao asked. Lyra nodded.

"Ryuga here will guide you. There are some suspicious machinations here, probably part of some strategy. Tian Mei, Knightmare, let's scrutinize the outer surface of the temple." Xiao said.

Soon the three of them were scouring and scrutinizing the outer walls of the temple. But this was just an excuse to give some lone time to Ryuga with Lyra so that he can attempt to forge a friendly relation with her.

Half an hour later, scrutiny was done. In and out, nothing was found other than those glowing symbols on the temple wall. Raiders explored the whole cave too but nothing was found other than the mysterious black rocks.
