Pain After Happiness

Makoto went out of the café and waited for Kei to arrive. He received a message from her that she will arrive a few minutes from now. He looked at his phone for the time and then, he put his hands back inside his coat pockets to keep it warm. He smiled when a cab stopped in front of him. The door went open and Kei went out from it. She smiled at him, carrying a paper bag full of small boxes.

"Did you wait for too long?" She asked and he shook his head. He gently pulled her in his arms and placed a long gentle kiss on her lips.

"Let's go inside. They are waiting for you." He covered her with the large warm coat he is wearing and she wrapped her arms around his waist.
