With that deep voice of Cody, napakurap si Bea and napakunot bigla ang kanyang kilay. Bakit may ano ba sa labas?

I was really scared that you wouldn't say hi to me and my hunch was really right... hindi mo nga ako binati. I never felt helpless like that before, but it turned out... hindi mo pala ako nakilala. And I was very thankful of that, na hindi ka galit sakin. That time I felt, I really needed to show my affection. Not until, I realized I had become overprotective. And I am very sorry for that." The young man slowly averted his eyes from Bea as though it showed a guilt on his eyes. His face said it so too.

Wanting to comfort Cody, Bea gently caressed the back of Cody's hand.

Dugdug! His heart went racing. That smile! That smile na nanggagaling sa dalaga hindi niya talaga kayang hindi titigan. It was like, kapag nakikita niya ito, parang hinuhugot ang buo niyang mga mata para hindi alisin ang paningin dito. Nakaaadik but nakasasabog ng puso.

Until, pati ang lips niya hindi na rin napigilan mapasmile. It was so glistening na tila ba masisilaw na ang buong kaluluwa and at instant, lilipad ka kaagad papuntang langit.

His deep voice soothed Bea's ears hanggang sa manlambot ang lahat niyang limbs.

Dugdug! At instant nag slow motion ang lahat. Yung mga blades ng helicopter, pati yung paghulog ng mga bulaklak, bumagal bigla. She fell on to extreme fantasy dahil sa kanyang narinig.

'Totoo ba ito?' Couldn't believe kung ano man ang nasabi ng binata, she immediately cupped Cody's face and pinched it para malamang hindi siya nananaginip.

"Hala. Cody. Naghahallucinate na ako. Totoo ba 'to? Nag-slow mo ang lahat oh." Bea eyes were fully widened habang nakanganga pang kinukurot ang mukha ng binata as though nababaliw na ito.

Cody sweetly smiled then grabbed Bea's hand from his face.

"Hindi ka naghahallucinate. This is true."

Napakurap bigla si Bea when she saw yung smile Cody. Dugdug! She cupped her chest saka napalunok.

'It was real!' She was immediately pulled from reverie. Hindi niya inexpect ang pagtapat sa kanya ni Cody. Bago siya sumakay, she thought baka mag sasight seeing lang sila and she never expected na ganto ang gagawin ni Cody.

She bit her lip when she was taken aback that she needed to answer his confession. But this time... she didn't know but her heart suddenly felt anxious. She was wavering to answer 'yes!' but she didn't want to say 'no'.

It was clear from her face that bigla siyang naguluhan. Actually she knew from herself already that she had fallen in love with the young man but with that sudden proposal... she was hugged by fear... yung takot na pumasok sa totoong relationship.

Bumukas ang kanyang labi... but no words came. Then she just pressed her lips together again.
