Cloudbank Hillclimb

We enter onto the Café which was dead empty at this time. It would usually always have some sort of car meetups or something going on out at the parking lot, plenty of people hanging out in here. But not right now because of obvious reasons.

Those two are ordering drinks and food here like we're out in some buffet. And I'm out here sitting quietly in the corner side. Apparently they searched my car and found enough change to pay for a year's rent or something.

I'm just spacing out, my head leaned against the window looking out. Sitting with my shoes off and knees tucked upto my chest, the way I usually sit when there isn't people around.

Kozo Hoshino, the one who called us here with the most enthusiastic voice imaginable this morning is the one that's late. Wait... I think I'm onto something.

"Hey guys?"

"Yeah?" Aki replies.

"Uhh... I don't have to pay for Kozo's bill as well do I?"

"The bet DID say the last one to arrive here pays for "everyone's" food, didn't it?"

"If we're using that kind of logic then Kozo's technically the last one to arrive here."

"Bro's onto something." Says Catalina.

So then we all stand by the side of the entrance to wait for Kozo's R34 GT-R to arrive at the parking lot so we can give him a warm welcome once he steps inside.

After a while, we see that Millennium Jade Skyline R34 GT-R NISMO with 3 spoke Advan wheels show up and park at the Café's lot. That's Kozo Hoshino, He is a slim 28 year old guy, about 6 feet tall. And he's the chillest dude in our group. He steps out of the car and walks through the entrance as we welcome him inside. Since there's nobody here right now, we practically own the place. We escort Kozo to his seat and the three of us seat right in front of him, as if it's an interrogation session.

"Uhh... Can you guys just cut the suspense and tell me what's going on? I mean... I know I was the last one here despite calling you guys here but..."

"You don't get it do you? It's not about you being late... It's something much bigger." I reply.

"Ok so is it about your Special Edition project car-"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP WE DONT TALK ABOUT THAT HERE"

And they've heard about it. "What car?!" Aki and Catalina turns their heads to me.

"The interrogator has become the interrogated." I say in my head.

"I'll tell you all about it once we're got the thing at hand over with alright? Yeah I do have a "top tier" sin-against-humanity project car that's already done and will be here later today. Half of it engineered by "yours truly". So anyways Kozo, you gotta pay for everything we order man."

"What did I do to deserve this?"

"That's where the bigger things kick in. Tyler here has lost a bet. "Last one to arrive here pays for everyone's bills" and Tyler lost the race." Says Catalina.

"Then why exactly am I the one paying?"

"Like I said, that's where the bigger things kick in. He lost the bet but then he decided that he was a lawyer."

"So you guys pulled me into some bet that I didn't even know existed"

"So Tyler, what kind of sin against humanity have you been working on?"

"Completely ignoring me now?" Says Kozo.

"What I've been building, along with the people at Porsche, is the nine hundred and nineteenth Porsche 918 Spyder. It's got no more electric power. Just a boost heavy lagless half-electric twin turbo strapped to a torqueless 4.0 L V10 making over 1000 Horsepower to the wheels and it revs to 11.5k RPM. It's basically a replica at this point. A perfect 918 replica that matches the Porsche 918's dimensions and shape built in Porsche's factory... All the same except for the undertray cuz I need some downforce to keep it on the ground... There, happy now? By the way it's gonna be numbered "919" by Porsche. Cuz you know... It's technically the 919th Porsche 918. And it's gonna be able to compete with you guys' fastest cars. Catalina's V10 Murciélago and Aki's Turbo V10 488 Pista with no Ferrari badges? bring it on. Kozo's retarded Huayra R, I can compete. Hell, bring in a Koenigsegg One:1 and I'll probably keep up on the turns."

"So you took a 918 and then just... took away what makes the 918 a 918. Now that we've got it out of the way... So anyways, Kozo why'd you call us here?" Aki asks.

"Oh about that, you guys broke the flow so hard out here it feels downright awkward to talk about it now. So anyways, what I did was just beat the Cloudbank's uphill record that's been set by Udo in his AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 car with turn signals. And by a whole 4 seconds flat at that."

"There's no way you beat that car. At least not in another road legal car."

"Wouldn't be a proper record unless the car was registered for road use. Uploaded the footage and it already got verified. Used my GT500 R35 GT-R with it's downforce turned up to 11 and the power, 20. And oh yeah I gave it some indicators and got it registered obviously."

"Oh it's "that" kinda road legal. what did I honestly expect here, a slightly modified road car?"

"It's Florida, anything with 4 wheels and lights is a road car in their eyes. Anyways here, take a look at my world record breaking run. My driving in here is rough round the edges, started with cold tires and I was getting used to the car as I went along."

We watch his uphill run which, like he said, the driving was rough around the edges. It looked like he was still getting used to the car. And damn the rear wing slopes up pretty steep to cover the entire rearview mirror almost like a 2014 formula 1 car. And as rough as the early turns looked, he got much better midway through he looked much comfortable at that stage probably because his tires got up to temp, And on exiting the last corner leading onto a long 2 kilometers of dead straight, (well there was 4 kilometers of dead straight but the coarse ends after 2.) He presses some DRS button and the top near vertical part of rear wing flattens as he ends the run in an unrestricted top speed of 345 KMH.
