"The bloody stain"

Author: Nezu

Date started: 5/26/2xxx

Criminal Description:

Name: unknown

Age: unknown

Hair colour: unknown

Natural eye colour: unknown

Quirk: Ghoul.

Secondary quirks: unknown

Quirk 'Ghoul' description:

A quirk that requires the user to survive on human flesh in exchange for the strong abilities to control cupless scaled tentacles called 'Kagune', to move at inhuman speeds, and the abilities to smell out specific people from far away. This ability is sometimes dampened during wet weather. Quirk can be identified as active with the change in eye colour, where the iris turns into a red colour and the Sclera turns black with red veins becoming visible which spread through to the surrounding skin of the eye.

The term Ghoul refers to a collective group of quirks, and are often mistaken or misplaced in one of the three other categories; emitter, mutation, and transformative due to their wide range of abilities. Unlike the other three categories which have millions of quirks that fall under them, Ghoul quirks have kagune which only ever come in four different forms, with some very rare exceptions, recorded as: ukaku, koukaku, rinkaku, and bikaku.

Research from old reports tells us that they each have their own way of forming, however not much is known.

The kagune has been observed from the 'The bloody stain' as black in colour with red veins flowing throughout. From video footage and eyewitness accounts, it has been discovered the type of kagune the user has is called Rinkaku, A type of kagune described from old accounts from the 2nd to 3rd generations of quirks as a spider-like appearance in full use.

If history remains true, the number of tentacles can vary from 1 to 8 for each person however 'the bloody stain' has only been observed as using two at most. It is unknown if that is their limit or if they have more which they have yet to be seen using.

Users with the ghoul type quirk are required to eat their whole body weight in human flesh over the course of a month, it doesn't matter if they eat it all in one go or smaller pieces over time. During the first few months of the ghouls appearance, they seemed to stick to their 1 body a month to get their body weight, however since the new school year has started they have changed the frequency of attacks to every 2 weeks on average instead.

This means the user is using his quirk more than they used to since around April when the school year began.

This follows the theory of the suspect being a student at UA high.

'Secondary Quirk' description:

Unknown.

Case info:

First reported the identification of the suspect happened in September. A woman aged 24 called into the police station to report an attack from a villain who had 'run through' someone. When police went to the location of the attack, there was nothing apart from a small pool of blood on the floor, no trail at the time was available to follow.

While the caller was being interviewed it was discovered the man who she had seen being killed had been sexually assaulting the woman in question. During the interview, another call of distress was called out to a crime scene. The body at the crime scene was later identified as American, A Samuel Jackson, who has been living in Japan for the last 5 years with a known criminal record for sexual assault who had attempted to assault someone before being attacked by a third party only a few hours previously.

The crime scene of the first reported attack with a suspect to follow was extremely similar to two previous attacks seen 1 month apart from each other, lining up in pattern with the attempted sexual assault. The first two attacks were both deemed as wild dog attacks as there was no evidence of human intervention at the time.

First incident with a closely similar resemblance to the third known attack was an elderly homeless man identified as 'Kanai Yoshiro' was left in an alley-way. A nearby resident heard loud screams of distress and called the police late at night. At the time of the police arrival, all remaining blood and flesh were still warm. It is unknown how long the body was there before it was discovered, however considering the temperature of the remains, it could not be more than a few minutes.

The second known victim was identified as quirkless - 17 year old, 'Yamamura Hideo'. He was found the next morning the day after, no nearby residents heard anything or reported any screaming or terror in the area at the time of the supposed death. After a quick search of the area and local buildings, Hideo's shoes were discovered on the roof of one of the buildings with no sign of blood or organic material on the roof leading police to declare his death to suicide, instead of murder. The crime scene where the body was found was much clearer than the two stated previously.

At the scene of the fourth reported attack, two bodies were discovered. One left in a similar style to the cases stated previously while the other was left with three stab wounds to the chest. The destroyed body was later identified as wanted criminal Tsukamoto Atsushi. Wanted for three cases of sexual misconduct and one case of disputed man-slaughter. It is thought that our villain had discovered the man with the woman after she was already dead, and proceeded to kill him and eat him instead of the already deceased woman.

This leads me to believe our villain as some sense of warped justice, not personally killing anyone in the second month, letting the woman leave of her own free will, and the untouched deceased body of the woman from the fourth attack. This pattern continues on however, we are unsure whether the first attack is just an outlier or if more unknown attacks have happened previously.

The fifth case was a petty criminal with a short record of small-time burglaries which were not very successful. It has been debated whether the villain chose to stick with its twisted morals with this, following the pattern of only targeting criminals and villains. The police got a phone call much later into the night than the previous attacks for cries of distress. I believe the villain was getting tired of trying to find someone who fits their twisted ideals and went for the next criminal that crossed their path.

The sixth case, very similar to the third, was a man reported and found dead only mere hours apart from each other. The crime scene was much closer to the main street causing the cries of distress to be heard by Nishiya Shinji, otherwise known as Pro-Hero Kamui Woods, ultimately leading to the early end of their hero career. This was the first time the villain was caught on tape causing widespread attention from the media and public alike.

The footage caught showing usage of the villains' quirk and mannerisms in action, along with Nishiya Shinji's statement, we confirmed our theory of the Ghoul quirk appearance throughout Japan. It is unknown if there are any other cases of ghoul quirks around Japan or if this villain is the last known one to hold the Ghoul quirk.

Cases 7-9 happened in a similar style to attacks 3 and 6. Each of which, however, was not reported to the police until the morning after. Each body was identified as criminals and villains wanted for crimes such as murder, theft, and arson.

After the 9th case, the pattern of deaths doubled and changed to once every two weeks instead of once a month, we are unsure of the reasons for this change. However with our current number one suspect being a student of the UA Hero course. The sudden change in quirk usage could be a cause of such change. This is currently being looked into further.

USJ attack, assumed to be, 'Bloody stain' left 12 villains injured in the Ruins zone. Not students reported being in this zone at the time of the attack. Almost all the villains found here had received large gash wounds across multiple parts of the body. We had them removed and taken to a hospital. One of the villains died in custody on the way to the hospital with severe blood loss. It appeared however that none of the villains in the facility had been eaten. However, one villain was recorded to have a salamander quirk, we are uncertain if this villain was eaten or not as they were the only one he seemed unharmed.

The morning after the USJ attack, the 10th case opened, two people were found dead next to each other by the hands of the bloody stain, two weeks earlier than anticipated. The body of a young woman wanted for attempted murder and illegal quirk usage was identified and discovered in a nearby alleyway, the closest known attack to UA.

No calls of distress heard during the time of the supposed attack. The two bodies were dead long before being found. Looking into the origin of the second body, identified as 25-year-old male with no previous conviction or wanted for any crimes, we are unsure if the Bloody stain was the cause of his death or the woman who was with him, probably won't be identified at this time.

Night after sports festival Eraserhead, Aizawa Shouta, came across the villain stood over a body; stood motionless and seemingly staring at thin air in front of them. From his report, he stated He observed the motionless villain for a while before trying to sneak up on the villain while they seemed distracted. The villain was alerted to his presence before he could get too close to intercept, causing them to take off and try to escape leaving the body on the floor.

Eraserhead noted how the villain moved incredibly quickly, previously observed in Kamui wood footage.

At the use of Eraserheads quirk on the villain called 'erasure', (Erasure- disables transformative, emitter and even mutation to some degree.

Activates by choice while looking at someone, deactivates when eyes close.) Cause the villain to trip and grip onto their stomach, it can be assumed that erasure causes pain to the villain through his stomach's digestive abilities being canceled, causing pain in the abdomen.

The villain got up and carried on trying to escape when Erasurehead caught the villain's leg in his capture weapon, a long thin bit of equipment made from carbon fibers and a special metal alloy in the form of a scarf.

This caused the villain to panic and retaliate, using their kagune cut through the capturer weapon and simultaneously creating a small gash on ErasureHeads right side of his face before taking off.

The bloody stain has not had any reported sightings or incidents since.

Suspects:

All students of UA's hero course in class 1-A are being investigated carefully and slowly to not alert the possible villain until all students have been cleared or the villain is caught. From the video footage and Aizawa Shouta, otherwise known as Eraserhead, point of view the villains are around 1.50 meters but no more than 1.70 in height and don't have any visible mutations that can be seen from a distance. Suspect one: OCHAKO URARAKA [Added Suspect]

Age: 15

Hair colour: Auburn

Natural eye colour: Auburn

Quirk: Zero Gravity

Member of class 1-A who was present at the USJ attack. Her police report from the US attack states she was present in the landslide area with Izuku Midoriya.

Her quirk allows her to change objects' weight so they are no longer affected by gravity. Using this it allows her to pick up and move heavy objects while only receiving backlash of feeling nauseated after making too many objects weightless. Her limit is slowly beginning to increase from the beginning of the school year.

She has a close relationship with her classmates, especially Izuku Midoriya and Tenya lida; she tends to have a bubbling personality all around but seems to become serious when it becomes necessary.

She is the only person we have any reason to be suspect of right now, whoever the ghoul is, they are intelligent enough to be able to hide themselves this long. While Uraraka has the evidence stacked against her at the moment, I do not think she is capable of keeping it hidden for this long. Or she is, and she is much more intelligent than he's letting on and that's something to keep an eye on.

At the end of the sports festival Chiyo Shuzenji, otherwise known as Recovery Girl, met Uraraka inside one of the med-bays. The girl was quiet and silently crying before Shuzenji noticed she was there. When benign asked if she was ok, Shuzenji noticed her reluctance to talk before she quickly dodged the question before leaving the room without a word.

Once Uraraka had left, Shuzenji was clearing the room when she noticed an empty blood bag inside the rubbish bin. All blood bags are numbered and recorded when used, the one in the bin was not ever recorded for benign used.

Currently, Aizawa Shouta is keeping a close eye on her and is planning on watching over her during her internship in Machida City, Tokyo with Pro-Hero Gunhead.

No one other than the task force on the Blood

Stain case is privy to this knowledge.

Personal comments:

The numbered blood bag in the bin shows the level of fore-thinking I would expect from Uraraka, however not from a villain who had managed to keep an empty trail behind them to follow until the USJ attack. It seems to be too careless for a villain of such abilities. Nevertheless, she is the only suspect so far, and I'm willing to bet that even if it isn't her

who is the notorious bloody stain, she may know who is. [Nezu]
