Chapter Two: UA Exam Part 1

A group of three Thugs run into an alleyway.

THUG 1

"Is it chasing us?!"

THUG 2

'I don't freaking know! When he got Jimmy, I just ran!"

THUG 3

"Yeah, me too-"

Right before Thug 3 could finish a boy dressed in a purple sweatshirt suddenly appears.

"Quirk 3 Kinetic Might."

The Boy kicks Thug 3 through a brick wall.

Thug 2 turns around and sees the Boy staring at them. With glowing purple eyes piercing through the darkness of the hoodie, staring into the soul of the remaining two Thugs.

Thug 2 takes a step back and looks at Thug 1.

Thug 1 conjures up an energy orb and aims it at the Boy.

THUG 1

"Back the Hell away or I'll shoot you! I will, I promise you!"

THE BOY

"Quirk 2, Speed Blur."

The Boy suddenly appears in the air getting a kick ready.

THE BOY

"You know what? I believe you. But I simply don't care."

He then kicks Thug 1 in his arm breaking it in a loud snap! Causing Thug 1 to scream in pain. The Boy grabs Thug 1 by the broken arm and slams him into a wall, knocking him out.

Thug 2 steps back in fear. 

The Boy looks at Thug 2 and starts slowly moving forward.

THUG 2

"Please don't hurt me!"

"He won't!" Says a voice echoing from above.

A grey scarf comes out of nowhere and wraps around Thug 2's head. Slamming him into the wall behind him, knocking him down.

Aizawa drops from the building looking at The Boy.

AIZAWA

"What did I tell you about vigilantism, Haruto?!"

HARUTO

"I couldn't ignore this. They tried hurting a child!"

Aizawa sighs.

AIZAWA

"Let's just go home. The police are on their way."

AT AIZAWA'S APARTMENT

Haruto and Aizawa enter their apartment.

AIZAWA

"Dinner is on the table, eat something."

HARUTO

"What if I'm not hungry?"

AIZAWA

"I don't care. Eat something."

Haruto sighs and walks toward the dinner table. Taking off his hood, availing himself to a be a relatively handsome 14 year old boy with slicked back white hair and purple eyes. 

Aizawa sits on the opposite side of the table.

AIZAWA

"Are you ready for your exam tomorrow?"

Haruto slightly smiles.

HARUTO

"I think so…"

He thinks for a second.

HARUTO

"I'm slightly nervous though."

Haruto looks down. Feeling like what he says might displease his father.

AIZAWA

"That's okay, I was nervous too."

Haruto looks up at Aizawa.

HARUTO

"Really?"

Aizawa smiles softly.

AIZAWA

"I was once actually pretty weak. You're much stronger than I was when I was your age."

HARUTO

"What did you do to stop being nervous?"

Aizawa chuckles softly.

AIZAWA

"Nothing, I lived with it. It's okay to feel your emotions. But it's not okay to let it control you. You must live with it and move past it."

HARUTO

"I- I will try my best."

Aizawa smiles.

AIZAWA

"I know you will. Now go get some rest"

Haruto finishes eating and nods. Standing up and goes to his room.

In his room, Haruto lays on his bed staring up at his ceiling. He turns to his right and looks at his poster of All Might. "Will I meet him" he thought.

Haruto takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, falling asleep for the night.

OUTSIDE OF U.A.

Haruto walks down the walkway in front of U.A. The area is crowded with many other applicants. This causes Haruto to get slightly nervous because of a big crowds.

As he is walking, Haruto hears a boy attempting to talk to a girl. But utterly fails. Catching his attention, seeing a green-haired boy with unkempt hair attempting to talk to a brown hair girl with relatively short hair.

Watching the Boy utterly fail to talk to the girl causes Haruto to smile softly. Causing him to walk toward the boy after the girl walks away.

Haruto catches the boy off guard.

GREEN HAIRED BOY

"Oh… Hi! Uuh…"

HARUTO

"Hi…"

They stand in silence for a few seconds.

Haruto has no idea what he should talk about and starts to get nervous. So he just turns and starts to walk down the path, leaving the green haired boy hanging.

HARUTO

"I- I… Apologize for bothering you…"

The Green Haired Boy stands there, confused.

INSIDE U.A.

Haruto walks into the entry hall of U.A. trying to find out where he is supposed to go. Until a robot pokes him, surprising him.

ROBOT

"Follow me, human."

Haruto nods and follows the Robot down a hall with no one else going that direction. He passes the Green-haired boy who gives him a confused look, trying to figure out where he's going.

The Robot leads him into a locker room.

ROBOT

"Get ready for the test here, human."

Haruto nods. Changing into a black sweatsuit with purple lines. Exiting the locker room with a determined expression.

ROBOT

"This way, human."

Haruto follows the robot down the hall. Leading Haruto into a giant white cube arena. He loks around, confused.

VOICE OVER THE INTERCOM

"Haruto Aizawa."

Caching Haruto's question.

VOICE OVER THE INTERCOM

"Hello, I am Principal Nezu. We know about your origins from All For One."

HARUTO SCREAMS

"I'M NOTHING LIKE THAT MONSTER!"

PRINCIPAL NEZU ON THE INTERCOM

"I believe you. But some of the other need convincing."

AIZAWA ON THE INTERCOM

"Now is your time to prove yourself, Haruto."

HARUTO

"Dad?"

In the control center, Aizawa sits in this chair and smiles.

AIZAWA ON THE INTERCOM

"Prove them wrong."

Back in the arena, Haruto looks up at the speaker and smiles.

HARUTO

"Yes sir!"

Haruto looks forward with a determined look.

HARUTO

"What is the test?"

The floor across the room opens up. A strong looking robot slowly comes up from the ground.

PRINCIPAL NEZU

"We want you to fight. Show us who you really are."

Haruto smiles.

HARUTO

"Quirk 5, Mantis Blades."

Two blades come out of the sides of Haruto's arm.

The Robots wheels start turning and rushes toward Haruto.

HARUTO

"Quirk 2 Speed blur."

Haruto disappears but. In his point of view, it looks like time has stopped. Places his point through the robot. Giving him an opportunity to do something he has been wanting to do for a while, let loose.

HARUTO

"Quirk 3 Kinetic Might."

As he is going toward his way point. He allows his body to gain kinetic energy into his body. Haruto then releases all of it at once, tearing through the robot! Turning into scrap metal!

Haruto takes a deep breath and looks up.

HARUTO

"Is that all?"
