"He seems very promising, more so than his father," the old voice said.

"If he can cut a Nomu that is designed to take down All Might in half, he is already far superior to his father. Why did he not fight his father? I thought his personality had become more ambitious and stoic," the fear inducing voice on the other side of the line asked.

"I don't know, savior."

The round of 16 ended. Those who advanced were Izuku, Shoto, Ibara, Ryoto, Mina, Tokoyami, Kirishima, and Bakugo.

'Fuck! It feels like I tore my stitches,' Ryoto said, being in control of the body once again.

The transformation that was caused by Zoro's Quirk and was leading to a mutation had once again tainted Ryoto's DNA. Severe pain, the kind where you would think about ending your life just to not feel it. Yet, Ryoto stayed strong. Zoro's pain tolerance hadn't mixed with his psyche for nothing. But this time, the pain was different. The pain started from the green, left eye and spread upwards to where his hair was.

Recovery Girl was only able to heal his burn, the pain still remained.

"Ryoto, you don't look so well," Ryuji said, uncaringly touching Ryoto's shoulder, receiving a slight cut that wasn't caused by ill-intent.

Ryoto turned to look at Ryuji, his face pale. "What the..." Ryuji said. "I knew your left eye was green, but there is now a strand of hair on your head with the same color."

"What do you mean," Ryoto asked, gripping the left side of his face. "Bring me to my waiting room."

Ryuji did Ryoto the favor and brought him to his waiting room. Immediately, Ryoto went to check himself our in the mirror. And exactly as Ryuji had said, a small strand of hair on his head was the same green color as his left eye.

'Kid, I think I know what is happening,' Zoro said.

The quarter-finals began with Deku's and Shoto's fight. Deku, still unaccustomed to his Quirk, broke several bones in his arms, even worsening the fractures in his fingers. Shoto, the Number 2 Hero's son, fought Deku half-heartedly. It turned out that Deku was persuading Shoto into something that was only revealed at the end. Shoto used his fire for the very first time, something Ryoto and Zoro hoped for.

The first match of the quarter-finals went to Shoto. A clear victory that was accompanied by Endeavor's cheers towards his son.

"Ryoto Matsuda, you are up next," one of the U.A staff informed Ryoto from outside of his waiting room.

With heavy steps and a traumatized face, they made their way towards the arena. Once again, cheers from the crowd echoed through the stadium, only to come to a stop once they noticed Ryoto's complexion.

Pale face, dropped cheeks, and dead eyes - also adding the strand of green hair on his head. It was safe to say that Ryoto did not look good in the eyes of everyone present.

They stepped into the arena, seeing Ibara and Midnight.

"Ummmm. Ryoto, are you ready." Midnight asked, unsure of what to do. She then contacted Cementos who stood next to the arena via headset. "Be careful this round, Ryoto doesn't look too well.

"Ready," they said.

Midnight nodded her head at Ryoto's response. "Are you ready, Ibara," she asked.

"I am," Ibara responded. "Ryoto, may god have mercy on your soul, as I will not."

"Fight!"

"Souls," they muttered, yet nobody heard.

Green vines dug themselves underground, only to emerge inches away from Ryoto. In this matchup, they didn't need to use any moves or strategies. This round was more like a walk in the park for them, a time to rest even.

As soon as the vines touched or whipped Ryoto, they were cut, freed from Ibara's control. Mostly targeting his upper chest, Ryoto's clothes were shredded by Ibara's vines and his own Sharpness. Realizing their efficiency, they advanced slowly, gaining a place next to the devil that Ibara so feared.

Unmoving, Ibara awaited her fate. And with a single finger placed next to her throat, they waited for her to surrender.

"I-I give up," Ibara declared, stepping back and off the arena, frightened to such an extent that she would have nightmares of this match for weeks.

"The winner is Ryoto," Midnight announced, bringing back the cheers that weren't present in the match.

The next to matches ended in Tokoyami's and Bakugo's favor.

'I cannot believe it... Are you sure, Zoro,' Ryoto asked once again.

'I am, and I think this is very unfortunate,' Zoro replied. 'If I use my Quirk, our body will start to change into my previous body.'

They finally understood the downside of a shared body. 'We changed control every single second in this match. But your Quirk's potency is too great. I think we have two choices. Either make our body accustomed to the Quirk with training, or never use your Quirk again.'

'I will tell you straight up, I don't like the second option. Let's go with the first one, but I think we would need to tell someone about our situation. Not about my first life, but about my existence. We know about All Might's peculiar situation with Deku, he is also the world's greatest in terms of trust.'

'Whatever, let's focus on beating Shoto. He used his fire, he may use it again. Let today be the last day before taking precautions for your Quirk, ok,' Ryoto said, preparing for his battle with Shoto.

Facing each other, receiving cheers as if they were the finalists already, the fight between them was imminent. And with Ryoto's request, he was now the one in control, tasked with defeating Shoto with the use of Zoro's abilities.

"Defeating you will prove how lucky you were until now," Shoto said.

"Maybe. But defeating you will prove that the second's son is losing to a Villain's son. What will the public think of you and your father after that," Ryoto provoked.

"FIGHT!"

Immediately, a huge mountain of ice shot forward from Shoto's right side.

Replicating Zoro's move against Ryuji, Ryoto charged at the ice, cladding his whole upper body in Sharpness and increasing this Sharpness to its maximum.

"No-sword style, Bull Charge!"

The ice crackled as Ryoto charged right through it, shocking everyone present. Shoto's Heaven Piercing Ice Wall was sturdy enough to immobilize a level 0 robot, after all.

"Wh-What?! How is that possible," Shoto questioned.

The ice shattered into shards, each fragment now etched with invisible, razor-sharp grooves. Eventually, Ryoto managed to break out of the ice wall.

Shoto then saw how Ryoto was still charging at him, frost all over his upper body, clearly damaged from his ice. He decided to create an ice pillar under him, letting him tower over Ryoto. Before Ryoto could think about a new plan, Shoto create several new ice pillars which he connected with icy paths. There was now a platform of thick ice over Ryoto, waiting to be used by its conjurer Shoto.

"Piercing Fall!" Shoto chanted, creating ice spikes under the platform and right above Ryoto. These spike then fell down at him.

Not knowing the depth of Ryoto's abilities was Shoto's nearing end. With Sharpness reinforcing his hand, Ryoto caught the ice spike and threw them back, multiplying their cutting and piercing capabilities. These ice spikes shot upward blindly, hoping to get Shoto.

The rain of ice spikes continued on for 10 minutes until the effects of the cold got to Ryoto. His lunge was working overtime, while his DNA was slightly being replaced by Zoro's unconscious wish.

The strand of green hair had become a three-inch wide bundle of green hair. The pain that normally accompanied the genetic transformation not palpable because of the adrenaline. Ryoto's and Zoro's minds might not have felt pain, but the body suffered. Ryoto needed to finish it and he needed to do so fast.

Channelling all of his energy into his arms, Ryoto prepared for a move he only saw from Zoro's memories. The move was called "Dragon Twister". It was a move that create a gust of wind by turning very forcefully.

'Let the irony behind this attack be not for nothing,' Ryoto hoped.

"No-sword style, DRAGON TWISTER!" Ryoto chanted, remembering Zoro's earliest words to him. 'I will make you into the dragon that your name implies.'

A twist of sharp wind collided with the icy platform, cutting it apart and catching Shoto off-guard. Hundreds of small cuts appeared on Shoto's legs, incapacitating him.

The mist that came from that violent move obstructed the spectators and the referees' vision, making them wait to see who was still standing.

When the mist settled, both students were on the ground.

'I will do you the honor of winning, kid. You did good,' Zoro said, taking over the control of the body while Ryoto was unconscious.

The body in question was missing more than half its finger. Zoro pushed himself to sit, a pain that wasn't comparable to what he had once faced accompanying it.

"The winner is Ryoto, but get the medical team here now!" Midnight announced.

I wanted to clrarify a few things. First, the "they" is meant to show that both Ryoto and Zoro were controlling the body, changing every second to see if the progression of the transformation continued even if Ryoto interfered. Second, if Ryoto only uses his "old" Quirk's abilites, this transformation will not occure, but if he used armament or observation, it will
