Chapter Five: Romance and A bad taste of Revenge

The next morning, Jeffery woke up to a text from Roger that said "You're welcome.  Since I'm such a great friend, I got you a date with jirou. The place is of your choosing and I'll be your ride if you need one. My brother lent me his keys to his car so say the word and I'll be there." Jeff replies to the text with a thank you as he prepares an outfit for the date. Later that day Jeff remembers something from when the Joker took over his body "Oh shit i can technically fly" he says to himself as he looks at the address on his phone and flies over there. When he arrives above the house he drops down in front of the door and makes sure he still looks presentable. Jeff then walks over to the door and knocks on it and waits. For a moment there is silence then the handle turns and Jirou comes out wearing a light gray skirt with a lavender crop top and fishnet leggings with a pair of black flats on. "H-hello.." said Jirou nervously. "H-Hi, I guess you're ready?" asked Jeff. "Y-Yeah," replied Jirou. "Well let's get going," said Jeff. "Yeah, let's go before everywhere gets packed for the night," replied Jirou. THe make their way down the sidewalk towards the city and they talk as they're walking. They soon found out that they had similar interests in music and other things. They eventually stopped in front of the most expensive restaurant in the city. "W-wait, you never said we were going to a place this nice otherwise i would've dressed nicer…" said Jirou with a sad pouting face. "Hey look at me," said Jeff. Jirou looks up at him with the same expression as before. "I think that you are the most beautiful person here right now, so let's go inside. Ok?" said Jeff. "O-Ok" said Jirou while blushing nervously. They walk inside and are sat down at a table by none other than Xero himself. They don't know it's him because he's always wearing his hero suit and his hair dye is out plus nobody has seen him with his mask off since his and Jeff's childhood. But not even Jeff notices it's him because of how much Xero's face has changed. "So, what can I get you two?" said Xero with a smirk. "Ok, well I'll have whatever she gets." said Jeff. "Ok, well I guess I'll ha-...so many choices!" exclaimed Jirou quietly. "May I recommend our Unagi-Soba? It is a mixture of Japanese eel and our finest soba that was soaked in our finest soy sauce to perfection and topped with a layer of our finest curry." said Xero respectively. "Sure, that sounds amazing," said Jirou. "Ok, so two Unagi-Sobas?" asked Xero. "Yes please, thank you." said Jeff. "Ok, it should be ready within the next 10 minutes." said Xero. "Great. Again, thanks." said Jeff. "It's really no problem, it's my job." said Xero as he left to make the order. Jirou and Jeff talked more while waiting for their food. They were getting along great and when their food finally arrived. "Here is your food. Enjoy." said Xero before leaving and watching them from a distance. They start to eat their food and after they finish eating Xero comes back over. "Did you enjoy your date Jirou and Jeff?" said Xero with a grin across his face. "Wait…" said Jeff. "How do you know our names…?" akse Jirou worriedly. "Excuse me for a moment Jirou…" said Jeff as he grabs Xero and drags him to the mens restroom. "Ok who are you and how do you know me and Jirou!!" exclaimed Jeff. "Ouch," said Xero. "What?" asked Jeff. 

"Nice to see you too," said Xero. "Wait a minute…" said Jeff curiously. Jeff ponders as he looks at Xero and slowly realises. "Xero! What the HELL!" exclaimed Jeff. "SHH!!" exclaimed Xero. "Oh..sorry.." said Jeff. "I'm  trying to not get overrun by a bunch of rich children who want to get my autograph!" exclaimed Xero quietly. "Fair. But what are you doing here!?" asked Jeff. "Did you not read the sign in the front of the building…" asked Xero. "uhh…" said Jeff. "I'll take that as a no." said Xero. "Well no, I didn't but why do you ask?" asked Jeff. "I own the place dumbass.." said Xero while staring into Jeff's soul. "Oh.." said Jeff. "You should get back to Jirou before she gets worried," said Xero. "Alright, Yeah," said Jeff in response. They both head back out and see Jirou still sitting there looking worried. Jeff and Xero are now back at the table and Xero grabs the receipt and signs it showing that it's on the house. The three of them then go upstairs to the office. "So Jeff, who is he?" asked Jirou. "Well don't overreact but he's…" said Jeff before getting cut off by Xero. "Does the name Xero sound like a familiar tune?" asked Xero. Jirou looked at Xero in silence and awe. Jeff looked at Xero and noticed something. "Hey bud, what's that on your face?" asked Jeff. "Damn it! It's coming off already?" exclaimed Xero. "What do you mean?" asked Jeff and Jirou. Xero then turns away from them and pulls something off of his face. Xero turns around showing his real face as someone else walks in. They stop and look at his face for a good moment while blushing. Even Jeff is questioning his sexuality for a second. Xero then quickly puts a mask on and jumps backwards out the open window behind him disappearing while leaving Jirou and Jeff with the person who randomly walked in. "Well that was an interesting way to end off the night" jirou says as she grabs jeff's hand as they walk out ignoring the random person who is standing there in awe questioning themselves. As they make it out of the restaurant Jirou asks if Jeff can walk her home "why would I walk you home when I have something even better" Jeff says as he picks her up and begins to float off of the ground,"have you ever flown home before? If not then hold on tight". Jeff says as he then begins to fly her home, 20 minutes later they arrive at her front door as jeff lets her down from his arms "That was so amazing,we have to do this again sometime" jirou says as she hugs jeffery tightly. Jeffery begins to walk away as Jirou asks him a question "Aren't you forgetting something" as she then walks over to him and kisses him. "See you in class babe" Jirou says as she then walks inside her house. Jeff then flew home as when he walked in he was greeted by Aizawa reading a book asking him "So how was your date?" Jeffery, not even being surprised he knew, responds "Amazing," as he walks to his room and passes out from the excitement.
